    nice little buggy Vas...I would love to run it next that one in a your race war series...I have an Ofna lx2e roller that I picked up for cheap cheap (less than $100 usd) and I now power it with the esc and motor I took out of the Kraton....yes it is a bit much for the buggy but I have a habit of going a bit over powered with every rig I own. ..lol

    Coming from a Serpent owner with carbon shock towers thicker than those, you'll want to double up on that or stick with aluminum.

    • @pecky38
      @pecky38 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      gophop Agree, carbon fiber can easily scratch at the edge. This buggy's front and rear tower construction allows to use thicker ones. Just change to longer screws and it works. My stock tower bend twice and if it bends again, I planned to replace with double carbon fiber or aluminum + carbon fiber (aluminum at the hiting side.) Of course, I can't prove which works better until a 'hard punishment'!

    Sweet one Vas. Just got me one too. Could I go lower wt on the diffs? I run on a BMX track also, really loose dirt. I think 100k would be too heavy. What do you think? Thanks bro. Keep up the awesome vids

    how come there is zero front droop. is the tower too tall now for the shocks or is the droop screws too tight, car will handle better if you put some droop in the front

    Good afternoon Vas: I purchased the BSR BZ888 and watched this video. I think its a super idea to replace the shock tower with carbon fiber. I noticed you said it was "after market". Could you please share with me where you purchased it, part number etc.? Thanks

      It’s just a generic servo horn I got from eBay. Just search “RC servo horn” and you should find some that suit you.

    I'm looking to buy a cheaper 1/8 buggy. Would this be a good choice? I would like to spend around $400usd or less. Some others I have thought of are the
    ofna hyper sse, duratrax 835e, and team energy t8x. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @AussieRCPlayground

      Stock ESC & motor only allows for 4S use, so you'll need to swap them out to run 6S.

      Glad I sold it before it was discontinued. It was a good buggy with lots of potential, so I don't know why they dropped it.
