Cool video good job hope we can still see this car
I've run tracks that combos on a couple trucks. I've been nothing but impressed. I do suggest throwing a fan on that ESC though.
trackstar
thats crazy your shocks had no preload and it looked pretty stiff. you were right about it not being normal
Cooles Video ! :-)
Cool video, can you do a video on how to setup aa RC buggy like aligning the tyres, shocks and so forth... cheers...👍
What r u using for a controller I bought the same motor and Eco what matches?
I bought a 150amp HW esc do you think it would be ok with a 2650 kv castle motor that max 80amp? Don't want to over load the motor
when I bought my DF I changed the motor/esc right away so I could run 3s since it was the only battery I had, 1 issue I ran into was the wheel nuts kept backing out and the wheel would come off, other then that I would jump this thing 15ft in the air right along with my tailon and it would take the besting all day long
Hobbyking now sell this model with an upgraded Motor and ESC both are waterproof and Hobbywing Brand. Slight increase in specs 50A and 3250kv but much better quality.
Seen 1 video uploaded already, runs very well on 2S. He also fixed the sway problem by tightening up the front shocks and loosing the rear; it seems to of worked quite well
Vas, did you upload the running video at the bmx track of the truck with the upgrades?
This esc is working good on 3s ?
i have same combo but the esc is older (80a with fan) i think the V1 cause yours is so different
What pinion gear should I get?
Hi wot do i need to remove for nwe motor on desartfox
I'm thinking about purchasing this car and the motor + ESC mentioned in this cool video. Can you maybe provide a link to a recommended pinion gear on hobby king? I'm a newbie and am not sure, which pinion gear is the correct one for the mentioned motor ;)
Cool video, always :) What's wrong with the motor? most of the probs describing sound as though they're coming from the esc
Hi Vas, this buggy is going for very good value on the Hobby king web site at the moment. I can pick it up for $135. I was looking to grap the upgrades you outlined also. I checked both motor and esc upgrades on line and they are still only rated up to 2S. You mentioned that it should be able to handle 3S? I would have thought so as well with the new esc involved. Any further updates on this and it's running capability with the upgrades?
2nd and 301 club
Where's the show and tell video??
Where's the running video with the upgrades
Good question... I'll upload it in a couple of weeks.
Cool
i would rather have a crap servo than motor/esc. Its cheaper to get a 1258tg than a brushless combo
