- Few cars scream Americana quite like the 1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. The 1960 model was the second and final year for the redesigned and restyled second generation Impala. This particular Impala Convertible features the ever-desirable Tri-Power 348 Cubic Inch 8 Cylinder engine, which as its name implies, has 3 2-Barrel Carburetors. This '60 Impala is a car that anyone can drive because it has a Powerglide Automatic Transmission with column shifter along with power steering which is a very desirable option. The Roman Red exterior paint looks amazing and the chrome and brightwork also present excellently. This Chevy Impala also has a number of desirable body options including dual rear-mounted antennas, dual side chrome mirrors, and rocker panel guards. This Impala sits on 4 Whitewall tires with the correct Chevy spinner hubaps. Both the engine compartment and the trunk and well detailed and present exceptionally well. This '60 Chevy sounds great with dual exhaust. The White Convertible top is in fantastic shape and includes a red vinyl boot. The color matched red and white houndstooth interior looks to be outstanding and is period correct.

Had one black red white interior blacktop 348 tri power loved that car had 3 speed column shift changed to 4 speed floor shift ran really well

I remember my mom having this car, which was also red convertible with the white top and I will always remember the rides we took to the beach with the top down. She traded it in later for a 1965 Chevy Impala SS convertible.

I owned one just like this. It had a 348 in it and I put 3 carbs on it. It came with that awful Turbo Drive Trans, I took that out and put a 3 speed on the floor. Nice car, one of my all time favorites. Not fast but nice..
