  • From its stunning red aircraft-inspired dashboard to its shiny gloss black exterior, this beautiful 1960 Chevy Impala convertible turns heads as it powers down the street! Powered by a big block and crowned with three carburetors, she drives effortlessly with power to spare. Let's cruise! Just another day in the office and - In the Garage. ‪@SteveNatale‬

They’re all beautiful in their own way. That said, the ‘57 is a beautiful design!

Watching this vid., I think I've heard the host say it feels just as good with manual steering as power steering and that he actually likes it a little better without the power assist. If that's the case, then I am just like he is. My favorite '62-4 409 powered Impalas are the ones with no power assist anything and therefore would like that black '64 convertible even better if it was only a manual steering and power brakes car with no A/C or power windows just like that '06 convertible and thinner white lines on its tires. I ain't into loading up the 4-speed & dual quad 409 Chevys with all the power options and A/C, even convertibles. I have a red '64 SS coupe with 327/300hp and a powerglide tranny. Had a 250-horse motor but I wanted to drop in the 300-horse engine for more muscle car performance. And I have. It's a power steering and manual brakes car. Manual brakes are the factory drums. And now I've elected to leave it that way. Now I'm fixing to change its rearend from the factory 3.08 to a 3.36 and add on a limited slip posi. And then I will have done everything I want to do to it and just drive it for enjoyment.
