1 bit of constructive criticism i have is; while making a how to video, not to have a distracting dub step type audio track playing. i get it for action type vids but in this case while trying to pay attention and learn, the music is distracting. thanks and good video.

I like the grill guard or bull bar, what is it ? I live in feral hog country, and I've hit two already out where I live, they're black, hard to see until they come rushing up out of the tall weeds along a ditch, then it's often too late to avoid them.

Good video. Concise and not wordy. Well done. There is one item I would have done differently however. Speaking as a automotive technology insertion engineer for military vehicles, I consider the first step to be prime and that is to pressure wash the engine and engine bay first. Then execute your work flow. Said constructively, not in cold criticism.

Great video guys - I noticed you didn't change out the oil pump for a billet gear - nor did you have to change the harmonic balancer. I hear that a couple of these Coyote motors have had issues with the oil pump gear as a result of the load on the snout of the crankshaft turning the supercharger. Any issues so far?
I've heard this information as well. I was told that happens if the tune is not precise. I probably wouldn't worry about this issue happening, especially if the boost levels remain on the lower end and a good tune is done. I think that's why they mentioned 650 crank hp at the beginning of the video, this is the lower end of the maximum amount of hp this whipple can produce on a stock motor.
From my experience the issue is more if you hit the rev limiter the standard sintered metal gears clash and shatter. This is jot a problem with the Auto box - but I have a manual GT and have bounced off the limiter on several occasions even with a naturally aspirated v8. I would definitely do it on a manual car.

All of the time and money involved in having a shop do the work I would expect them to clean the engine bay so dirt doesn't sneak in and it looks nice at pickup. It's all about the details guys.

Thinking of getting a Whipple in the near future for my 2017 Challenger T/A
The Hemi will not live very long under very much boost. The bottom ends are all cast and were never designed to take higher cylinder pressures.
Do you have to have it installed it before it leaves the lot or can I drive my truck and once it's at 60k and the warranty is out I can install it?
This kit will void your warranty if you install it before the warranty period is up. You can install it whenever you like, either before or after your factory warranty is done

Very surprised you did not give the engine a good degrees and clean. I would be worried about all the foreign particles and dirt from entering

What is the biggest diff in the whipple bs rousch supercharger? I allfeady have the rousch exhaust on my 17 f150. Which exhauat is on the truck your working on?
Hi Matt this was installed with a magnaflow exhaust there isn't much a difference as far as we know but since we haven't installed the Roush supercharger it's hard to say

This is something to consider. However I would have to be 100 percent confident installation would be done by an experienced tech and warrantied.No other way I would do it.What would the labor installation price in addition to the kit be?

There are authorized "dealers" but not Installers, You'll want to find a ASE Certified Mechanic in your local area.

I know this an old video, but I'm hoping I can get an answer: What size of filter is this? I have a 2017 F-150 with a Shelby-Whipple 2.9L unit on it and this appears to be pretty much the closest I can find to it online, does this filter have a part number I can look up to order a replacement (I bought the truck used & the filter is disgusting beyond easy-cleaning)?

I definitely would take my truck to guy's that are gonna take the wheels off and set the whole front end on the brake rotors, and that take breakable sparkplugs out with an impact gun. Not trying to be rude, but doesn't seem very professional to me!!!
Zack Pack guess you don't know the proper way to change plugs on a 5.4. Impacts vibrate the threads and help them come out easier and LESS chance of them snapping. And I'm sure they left very little actual weight on the suspension system. Don't be such a girl. Ever even turned a wrench??

tocas21 1 and 1/2 ton is 3,000 pounds. an engine isn’t 3,000 pounds.

Orrrr.......just get a procharger half the time to install with same power.
Pro charger does NOT give you instant torque like the Roots style blower does. It will make the same Boost, but later on in the RPM range.
SPNFENDER Procharger makes 650hp, Stage 2 Whipple is 775hp and instant throttle response unlike the procharger. Ive ordered my stage 2 Whippled F150 and its tuned for 775hp.
