    Great product and video, thanks for helping the DIY guys out here. One question are you developing a cold air for this kit like you have for the mustang? I can't help but think there is lots of free HP if you get that filter separated from the hot motor. Thanks again, this blower is on my wish list, maybe after our house is finished.

    What did you modify on the knock sensor harness??

    Would the installation be the same or similar for a Roush stage 2 kit on a 2016 F150 5.0? Why is manually filling the coolant reservoirs not recommended?

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our kit has a lot of improvements so some parts will be similar and some will be different. We often see intercooler pumps that fail to prime and circulate.

    Will all that power on my truck mess with any of the other stock parts on it?

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Juan! We find that the Coyote trucks and Mustangs are actually pretty resilient at this power level under normal and even spirited driving conditions. A bit more attention to things like general and preventative maintenance goes a long way to making for a long and healthy boosted life! It is worth noting, absolute abuse can break things, even at stock power. Feel free to reach out to us at sales@vmpperformance.com if you have any further questions. We're happy to help!

      Hey, we do not. Your best bet is to swap in a modern coyote engine and use our blower kit. Check out The parts farm for takeout engines.

      @@VMPPerformanceTV I know the kit will void my warranty if seen by ford. But is there anything that is done during installation and regular use of the kit that can't be reversed or will be seen by a technician as to be a red flag which may cause my warranty to be voided. If my plans are not to race the truck just to have a significant power increase to have it in case i feel like getting up to speed quicker than usual.( In other words the truck will be driven 99% of the time as its intented). Just in case something happens or to take my truck in for warranty work?

    A rather cheap looking air cleaner,,,seems like will suck only hot engine air

    • @VMPPerformanceTV
      @VMPPerformanceTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is an interesting talking point, however, a closed airbox would restrict power too much for what the coyote is capable of with a VMP blower.

    • @FtmfwId
      @FtmfwId 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In most tests I've seen on other vehicles running similar in a boosted application, the engine is capable of fully evacuating all the air in the engine bay in less than a second. If there's any hot air in there, it's gone before your boost fully hits and then the air is the same temp as the stuff from outside.
