- I requested someone make a ROMhack that just swapped alliances in the endgame of Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, to get the Demon King first hand experience. I need better hires around the temple, to be sure.

Lance cav makes actually more sense considering he was Ephraim's lance instructor and also because of the rare masterwork lance he mentions in his support with Cormag (alongside a cursed lance which is actually the lance that Valter wields in Heroes) ; this lance is actually directly referenced in one of Duessel's voice lines, implicating that he is wielding the last lance forged by a famous master artisan (who's name I forgot).

@Noah Avshalom "You are the Demon King in Sacred Stones" implies that its a theory video. A video of this caliber could have been named "What if you were to play as Fomortiis in FE8?", but calling in for clicks and views is okay in my book, but only if done right.

Since it took me 9 years to actually get around to completing the game, "What if you were playing Sacred Stones?" is a question I have asked myself frequently.
I thought it was going to be about how 2020 is a simulation of FE SS, though none of us are worth restarting over.
Just like the vanilla fight, win by exploiting the terrible enemy AI.

10:36 Well, the very first time we see L'Arachel she was about to run off of a cliff to try to kill some monsters so this honestly doesn't seem that strange for her.
And she died to the hands (or head of 😏😏) a giant floating Dragon head
Let's all thank Fomortis for being courteous enough to not summon spam in game.
This was basically like using Genny in Thabes in SoV. Distract the overpowered enemies with your weak summons while you slowly take them out one by one.

You know, I'm always like 'What are a bunch of young adults supposed to do against a demon king?' but now I'm not so sure anymore
L'Arachel, 1 hp away from being killed, and everybody missed their attack on her, is the embodiment of Plot Armor in this game

When I opened this video I thought it was gonna be some interesting video essay about player choice in video games and how your actions are only your own

Imagine actually doing a playthrough with this as the lord. Although you would have to give it proper growth rates and maybe give it something like a transformation stone
I was expecting an analytical video about the metaphors and stuff behind FE8's story, but this is honestly better.
Wishing you luck as you pull for Duessel, Ghast! (Naga knows I need it too...)
Improvement suggestions:
1- Have everyone aggro at some point, only a few of them doing it sucks.
2- Summoning should have a cool-down of one or two turns to avoid braindead run away summon cheese.
3- Heroes should have extra killer/silver weapons and maybe vulneraries/Elixirs.

I never thought I'd be cheering on the Demon King.
Fire emblem games should have a pvp where P2 plays the enemies in each map. And they get all the same game mechanics as P1. For example support buffs and in some games they can pair up. That would create a whole new way to play the game.

Alternative theory: this Demon King actually has the souls of the party and the Demon King is in the party.
Depending on how bloodthirsty you are, you're the final boss of EVERY game. Everyone lives and dies by your grace or deliberate negligence.
If there’s one thing that I really dislike about the newer FE games, it’s the lack of actual monster enemies. Sacred Stones had such a great variety of monsters, yet Echoes was the only modern FE with actual interesting monster enemies (and that game was a remake of Gaiden).
Awakening straight up didn’t have any, Fates only had the lame faceless & while the big beasts from 3H were an improvement, they were still pretty bland tbh :x
I hope the next FE will have similar monster enemies to Sacred Stones :)

I gotta be honest it's a crime that their isn't just a game in general where you are the demon king trying to rule the land and a group of heroes work to stop you.

I actually loved the summon command. When they brought it back in Shadows of Valentia I was so happy. Granted to could bo longer control the monsters, however we actually got a variety. Necro Dragons, Witches, ect. Granted by the time you got them they were pretty much useless even with the Grimoire Ring.

I demand a Rokkr mode but with the final bosses monsters instead (fomortiis, Fire dragon, Shadow dragon, Duma and including some OG FEH Monster bosses)
This really makes me wish you could get Fomortiis/Demon Kings and Zombie Dragons as units in randomizers.
