- Welcome, friends! In this video I have a project to share with you that was my winter project in 2020. This is the Seer Cloak by Ninja Chickens, who has since rebranded themselves as Daughters of the Red Sunset. I participated in a Winter Solstice Knit-a-long led by Katie Green of the Green Bean Podcast. I use a historical reproduction Celtic pennanular brooch made by Raymond's Quiet Press for my clasp. I also share some relaxing knitting of my various works in progress.

Hi Becca. Wow, your Seer Cloak turned out beautifully. I also participated in that KAL. 🙂 However I did make a lot of adjustments to mine. I even added sleeves after a few weeks of having finished it. Just did two more steeks, lol. You can see the different versions on my Ravelry. I made my cloak with a closed front and shorter. It is more of a poncho.
Always nice to see what you have made dear Becca, are making or planning. Greetings to Dorothy Country and blessings from Fairy Tale Cottage, Schurwald Forest, Germany. 🙂 P.S. That red T-Shirt suits you very well.
Thank you, Christina! I saw your pics on Ravelry. I love all of the adjustments you made to your poncho, including the multiple colors of yarn you chose. The sleeves are a cute addition! :)
Cheers to you in your Fairy Tale Cottage!
The cloak is chef's kiss * perfection, Becca! Wonderful work! And I love the tweed's color. So pretty. I can understand wanting to work on an easier project once in a while. I cannot fathom the amount of brain power that is going in to working on the doubleknit One Ring scarf. I am usually a three-or-more-projects at a time gal. I've been bouncing back and forth between some overlay mosaic crochet by Tinna and by Vio Vieux, and the Rose Garden Persian Tiles afghan kit, all of which are not really so much "brain power" as counting, counting, counting. So I started a completely easy 2-row granny square blanket called the Rainbow Knot Baby Blanket by Rainbow Junkie so I can zone out and make these tiny squares when I need a break! Anyway, I love your sweater! It's really inspiring to see the yarn you spun being used in such a pretty way. I love everything about it! Hugs
Thank you, LadyValkyri! *Blush* I have not tried mosaic crochet, but it looks amazing! Those projects all sound great. I'd love to see them if you want to tag me on Ravelry or Instagram! Hugs!
