Let me think. Four surgeries on my testis, with two related to testicular /ovarian cancer, two other abdominal surgery, two ankle surgeries, one shoulder surgery, three hand wrist surgery, one ankle surgery, four by-pass surgeries, one cancer related face surgery, plus various other surgeries that added up to a total of twenty six or so. Lol.
That makes me a intersex person with cancer who would like to someday explore transitioning. I healed quickly and even survived stage three cancer. The heart surgery was done before major heart tissue damage and I’m ok in that department.
Oh did I say that the surgery to remove my testis with an attached 10cm malignant teratoma was done while I was fully awake. If your questioning this, my doctors were total idiots and I came very very near dying several times. I don’t see them any more.
I’m alive and trying to still support my family. Life can be very hard, you just need to keep going.
love the hair! Probably a smart choice to slow plans down a little, I had been wondering how hard that might be to have top surgery and then 2 weeks later have FFS done... I've seen some pictures of people right after FFS and it looks like it is pretty miserable for a little while. Taking some time to let your body recover will make all the difference in the world!
Hi Ashley! It's always good to take time for yourself as often as possible to heal, take breaks, and reflect on the things going on in your life. Often times I've found myself spending almost excessive time away from work just so I have time to myself, especially to heal from painful experiences, whether physically or mentally. This previous holiday was an example, I took extra time to try my best to recover, even though it kind of looped back on itself and just made me that much more lonely. But in a way, I needed it.
I hope your recovery continues to go well. Keep taking those steps necessary to become happy and fulfilled! Take care!
Girl you make it so easy to cheer you on. I'm glad your recovery is going so well and I love these moments of transparency especially in the decision making process. It's not something were taught (outside if 'WWJD' lol) so I'm glad to have you as a force of reason and enlightenment in the world.

Yes! Healthy, self-care is totally part of how I perceive your brand.
My decision making process is so much more complicated now on HRT. before as a bio male on T it was a simple either/or choice and the decision could be made in 10 seconds. Now it is like there are so many options it is hard to weigh them all out. My channel is almost completely about my struggle to know how to be.
Anyway, you are looking good Ashley and hoping for success and fast healing for your upcoming FFS.

@@mlce4701 More than anything he’s super booked because he takes insurance from some companies. He’s incredible and to do cheeks lip lift and forehead cranioplasty it was about 32K. I’m sure his prices may have gone up though

Hoping to get in for a consult soon for primarily rhinoplasty and his scarless tracheal shave procedure. Although cranioplasty and a little jaw work may be in the cards. Understand he can perform a small incision cranioplasty which would be wonderful. Also looking at Dr Gary Mortykie for rhinoplasty maybe more. This is so hard🥺

I had eye surgery (detached retina)...twice. 3 weeks where I had to keep my eyes closed, and my head pointed down toward the floor....at all times, even sleep. Both times...most torturous recovery ever.
