I feel like this has more to do with external than internal work. It's all about aesthetics and perfecting a societal construct of female beauty (that's not authentic and real in the first place!) minus depth and substance. I feel like you'll never feel good about yourself no matter how much you change to your new standards of what you think you should be. The goal posts will always be changing. You'll feel trapped no matter the gender.

The fact they put an imaginary guy in the sky to make people scared to not commit murder or sleep with your neighbors spouse should scare us more than a personal decision made by someone who will never have a personal impact on your life is scarier.
