Thanks for the help this project has hit all the road blocks but have made it this far. Appreciate your help along with other you tubers on this project new to doing video stuff.
Weird that the file size is exactly the same for both formats. I even tried rescaling the output video to a much lower resolution, but the mp4 files were still around the same size. If I use something like Videopad to rescale the video to that same resolution, the result is much, much smaller. MOM, OBS is annoying me again! Any chance you could look at Prism Studio and make some tutorials in the future? It has its own annoyances, but is so powerful.
Drone will auto split the video every 4GB. I see there are lots of small video clips when to output the shooting footage, what should I do If I want a full-length video?
it doesnt work for me? when i press stop recoding it doesnt open anywhere or download anything??? what do i do im on macos edit:i it was put in the wrong folder oops
for anyone wondering you can record in mp4 instead, its just not recommended because if your pc gets unplugged or your power goes out the file will not be saved, if its recording in mp4. so just record in mkv. better safe than sorry
What you are saying is true. However, many video editors do not support the MKV format. So sometimes you have to choose between having to convert your videos or just recording in a format that works. I risk it and film in mp4. It makes my life a whole lot easier.
@@NorthernVikingEveryday yeah, I bet I just recorded a video first i could not hear the game sound but when I converted it I could no longer hear my voice. Do you know why?
Record to .mov or .avi. MP4 doers not work with all video editors. For instance, if you emcode to MP4 with Nero, then the reult will not work in Adobe, etc. MV can result in the same but .mov, a almost lossless format, will be compatible in 95% of editting applications

In advanced, I select desktop and I get "no object for moniker". In addition, my recording only has audio. How do I solve these two?
Thanks man now i can be a tiktoker!

whats the difference between simple and advanced mode
Advance mode has more custom features. So if you like fine tuning stuff, check it out.

Hi Ken, Love all your tutorials. By any chance do you have a session on how to copy all highlighted text in word? Still learning things.
Unfortunately, I don't have a video on this topic but I may look into it further for a future video.
Hi! I still have 2 recordings, 1 in mp4 n 1 in mkv even after doing this. Any idea how to resolve that?

Hi.. sorry for the question, but I can't select any option where I find mkv. The menu isn't displayed. Do you know why?
