is lga1700 retrofit kit already inside the box? or should i buy it separately?
Based on comments it appears that most people are getting it included now.
Heard it has to be a new cooler to get the 1700’s, mine is icue H115i Elite. Do I have to buy it separately?
Should the standoff scre or back plate feel loose?
Are they supposed to feel a little wiggle?
You don't want to overtighten but they should definitely not wiggle.
Yeah I actually took back the one I baught and got the lcd screen one because the 1st one didn't come with the screws you used. Thank fully the lcd screen one does. And it felt alot better!! Thanks for your great video!!
Put together a build on PC part picker and it said in the note : "The Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard." A bit confused since it looks like everything came with the cooler in your video 🤔
I'm told that new ones are currently shipping with the new mounting kit, old stock still on shelves may not have the updated hardware though
@@KLEEBZTECH Ahh i see! A while left until i buy the parts so shouldn't be a problem then, thx for the answer!
Ty ❤
Very welcome!
hi, did u have to buy any kit in order to put it in a 1700 socket? or is it all included in the h100i elite capellix package?
Ours wasn't included in the box and we had to order it separately, but new ones are currently shipping with it as far as I know. Old stock on shelves may not have it though
will the elite capellix come with lga 1700 bracket out of box
from previous comments it will depend on when it was made. The ones now usually do. I know other people have commented here about their luck.
@@KLEEBZTECH so it's basically a gamble if I order the capellix for a 12900k. Should I use an Asus board with it. I have heard Asus motherboards support 1200 brackets
At this point I think most likely it would include the proper standoffs especially the retailer says compatible. Of course worse case you would need to get the correct ones which are part # CW-8960091 from Corsair. And I would not risk using the wrong standoffs no matter the board. Not when you can get the correct ones for a few dollars.
Just got mine and it did. (July 2022) it says on the websites specifically if it comes with it..(ie Newegg, Amazon...) If it doesn't say...ask but they should all be coming with them by now
I bought the Corsair 4000X case and it came with the RGB controller. Do I have to use this controller that comes with the pump just for the 24 pin connector?
I need fast help :) the 4 homes for the backplate are closed.. idk
Some sockets do not use the backplate. I am not sure which you are using but that may be the reason why.
No thermal paste is wild i guess they come preapplied
Hello, I have an Corsair 7000x rgb case. I don't need to install the controller from corsair capitalix liquid cooling, I think, thank you for the detailed review, it is very simple to assemble.
My 1700 standoffs are a little wobbly after finger tight. Is that a issue?
If I remember correctly with that one it might have a little play with the backplate until you attach and tighten whole assembly. Should not after all is done though.
Hey quick question! Did your cooler come with the lga 1700 standoffs?
@@SetherrrrrTV didnt see the reply from earlier but yes it did come with 1700 standoffs and it all snugged up when i tightened the cooler onto it
@@SetherrrrrTV If you get one that was made and packaged before they added the parts for the LGA1700 then it would not include them. But I can''t imagine a lot of those still out there on the market.
