    When I first got into building, you have no idea how many times I referenced your videos for specific cooler mounting. It made something that seemed so daunting, pretty easy to follow. You’re truly helping more than you know with these how to vids. Good stuff as always!

    Yeah, this cooler has so many cables, you are the only person who showed how to install it in an easy-to-understand way. Installing the radiator, fans, and block is easy but all those cables were daunting to say the least. Thank you sir, you helped me when everyone else just wanted to show their beautifully built system.

      to be fair, i think all things which come with rgb are kinda daunting.
      3 years ago i builded my first pc with an aio cooler, for some reason my mb only has had one rgb header and it had to much volt, so my rgb on the aio just died on first start up.
      since that i wont touch them without an tutorial anymore.
      i can build a pc from scratch without any issues but when it comes to rgb im out.

    Your fantastic video helped me to setup my Corsair H150i RGB Elite at home. My device doesn't have a control box (because RGB controlling is already integrated) but I could get it up & running in a similar manner: Connecting it to CPUFAN & USB 2.0 Jumper on my motherboard, connecting the 3 Corsair fans and adding a SATA power connection from my power supply. I would also recommend to remove the plastic from the screen (11:30) a little later because it is very prone to scratches. In general, thank you for this great tutorial! It would have taken me a lot more time without it. 👍 Best from Berlin, Benny

    I Was so nervous working with this AIO because of all the wires and its been a while (10 years) since I build my last computer (laptops since then) with lg67 itx motherboard with the CPU's included cooling fan. And then I discovered that some people are using a retro kit for lga1700, but his video helped to show that all the hardware is included in this case.

I'm building my first computer in like 10 years and I can't find the H150i LCD in my country, and I was looking everywhere to see if the H150i LCD has the screen fixed vs the upgrade kit for the basic Capellix edition which is magnetic. I had looked at 20 videos. But when you said "We recomment taking off the screen" I yelled FINALLY very loudly haha.

    there's a known issue with many users where the cooler LCD display shows a red triangle error. the issue has to do with the use of the usb splitter possibly drawing too much power from a single usb header. most users have opt to bypass the splitter & plug each usb separately onto the mobo. how did you managed to get your AIO to work correctly using the splitter.

    It should be noted that the CPU fan header does not work for this AIO on most motherboards. You will need to plug it into the SYS FAN PUMP header and will likely need an extension cable due to the cooler’s super short included cable.

      Would you happen to know how the wiring goes if I have unifans and not using corsair fans? My main confusion is do I still need to use the commander pro controller (I know its technically not that but same idea right). Can I just plug USB2.0 and the pump header connection? that way I can control the LCD screen via iCUE and the pump speed I can set to full speed?

  • @marcosguedes8885
    @marcosguedes8885 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Tip: Connect the pump USB cable DIRECTLY to the Motherboard. I bought this AIO last week and I connected both the pump and controller USB cables with the Y cable. After some minutes the LCD screen froze and the hardware disappeared from iCUE. After looking for info in Reddit, I found this solution, to connect the controller to the Y cable and the pump directly to the motherboard and voilá, the screen works perfectly now.

    • @marcosguedes8885
      @marcosguedes8885 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MiguelGaming117 I just followed this comment from Reddit:
      I had the very same problem with my setup. After setting everything up I would open iCue and the LCD would show up on the iCue software and I can adjust all the settings and use it but it would freeze and then crash and would disappear from the iCue software and the only way to fix it would be to restart the computer completely. Just for it to crash again after a minuet of opening iCue. What helped me over come this was not using the splitter for the USB header cause from what I gathered if you use the splitter and it has to share power from another source using the same header it will cause the LCD screen to crash. So I plugged the LCD screen directly to the USB header on the motherboard so it had it's own header and the problem went away and never crashed. I ended up using the splitter for the Commander Core and another unit that also used the header. Don't use any splitter with the LCD plug, plug it in directly to it's own header on the motherboard. Hopefully that will work like it did for me.

    Will be doing major surgery on the desktop tomorrow, replacing my NH-D15 with this cooler (largely because the NH-D15 is just in my way - it's way too big compared to a pump / top), replacing the 5700 XT with a 3080, and replacing a few Noctua chromax fans with the same fans that come with this cooler. I've avoided Corsair for ages as I don't like proprietary solutions, but the EK Nucleus I pre-ordered in September still hasn't shipped and I'm tired of waiting. With the screen, everyone says iCUE is by far the best software among all the "mainstream" ones (I've heard it's got nothing on AquaComputer's Aquasuite, but I can't be arsed to build a custom loop either), so I figured I'd give it a shot.
    Wish me luck.
