I’m debating doing that I was gonna buy at least 2 or 3 boxes collector tomm but I’m sitting here watching this and saying should I just get the tutors and another force I want those retro lands the foil though as well for my decks 😀

That’s because people are blind, have a fear of missing out, or would rather try and pull the cards as oppose to saving money buying the singles.

Nah definitely not these two weren’t as good as the other day but I still feel these are giving some solid value, just the low end of the return on the gamble.
I think $250 a box is a good price, people paying $320 or more after shipping & taxes are in a rough spot without a FoW
if they do 88x reprint sets like this in Q1, imagine the revenue. thats probably what the suits think moronically

Maybe I'm jaded but this wasn't very exciting for me. I dig the old border foils but it's over priced for someone that has all these cards already. I do hope that people that don't have these cards can enjoy them though.

Rudy! Excellent box opening: retro foils have been mastered in this set, yet Force of Will seems like 2-4 per case of 6 collectors.
Any Dominaria Remaster retro foil in BLUE, will be the most sought after... Especially Lord High Artificer.

This boxes were significantly worse than yesterday. But some decent stuff none the less.
Yesterday's pulls were two mammoth home runs. Today an impressive Triple in the gap and a bloop single.

All the retro frame basic lands are from different sets. the island is the only one from ABU. Forest is from Tempest, i thought i saw one from Urza's i think, but forgot which one.

Walmart's stock of Dominaria Remastered was shockingly low, I was the first one there today after it stocked, 8 collector's pack's, 12 (3 pack) draft and like 30 single pack's total that's it!

We need a comparison video between JAPAN collector foils & USA draft foils. Multiple sources are saying the USA foils look nicer, but the JAPAN foils don’t curl.

I think the old frames put better focus on the artwork and frame it better. Less on the textbox.
Only two things cards need to showcase: game mechanics and the artwork. For mechanics, I also prefer the old borders. For the artwork though borderless is above all others and in a class by itself. Wish magic would do away with the borders and make borderless the common framework going forward to continue modernization.

I'm glad that the boxes printed in Japan are high quality. I just opened a draft box made in the states and the ink is shit and everything looks grainy. I hope no one else gets a box this trashy. I hope you all get better quality.

the draft boxes pull rates seem way way lower so the cards might hold value i seen some draft booster boxes opened and only hit 2 mythics in 36 packs.
Yeah it seems the normal variance for mythics is all out of whack in the draft boxes
I guess it will be worth buying individual boosters though.

The cards aren't even released yet and the price of boxes is going up....why doesn't this surprise me. Not only a higher starting price point since we are in the era of doubly expensive cardboard, but now the price has shifted higher still before the actual release. What a joke.

All of the lands are retro, but that Island is the only one from Beta. The rest are from other old-frame sets (Mirage, Invasion, Urza's Saga, Portal 2nd Age, etc).

@@dbptwg the thing is ive fallen into the magic world, duel decks, commander decks, boxes, numerous standard decks, 2 modern decks, a tribal cube. its not jealousy when someone has cards you want its more ill save or try to trade. what has happened to magic is the wallets of the buyers has for some bizarre reason become large enough to not only pay for the base standard game but all of the other upgrades as well. for some its ok, for others its an addiction costing way way more than it should. products like these give young, and old, people the wrong impression on how reality works. singles are cheaper than ever is both good and bad, 5$ pack for a chance at 4 non foil cards over 1.50, Phyrexia all wb1. makes winning packs not so good.
They are priced out of box openings. Just buy singles though.
Rudy the basic lands are pulled from sets all a crossed Dominaria based releases. Each land is from an older set, The island in question was the only one taken from Alpha/Beta, but they are all reprints from various sets, and all were considered "best art for...insert land here" at one point in time.
Watching all these all I see is another reprint set that wipes the value of anything that had value before. Jesters Cap though looks amazing.
