Yes!!! Odd though how the most popular comments are the least accurate. Lol shows that most people dont know exactly what they're talking about. Lol because like you said it's the 4th card slot. Which is literally the last garenteed common. It literally says on the back of the box that it replaces a common card. Which should tell you it's the final common card. Because that is the easiest common card to replace besides the first.
You asked a question early in the video, the answer is: Yes mythic can be box topper, we oppened some collector this week end and Tetsuo (Mythic) was in a box topper. Great video btw, continue your good work
Rudy, you completely missed the entire set while in a steadfast frenzy for Legends cards you already have. By doing this, as many have already mentioned, you completely bypassed the slots where the Legends cards can even be placed. Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy the new cards!

Ahhhh one of the only people who actually knows where the legends card is located in this whole damn comment section. Lol it literally says this on the back of the box. It doesn't say 4th slot. But that is where all of them I have seen been pulled from. So literally it replaces the last garenteed common. . . Which is obvious if you think about it. It's easier to seed a pack in the same slot. They choose common. So the last common get replaced with one. Super easy to program into a lo system.
honestly, the stained glass lands in this set might be my new favorite full art basic cycle. I found myself gasping slightly every time they came up, they're so damn pretty.

Temporary Lockdown is a story card when they lock down the tower while the Phyrexians attack. Also it is really good in cEDH.

one year in the future here, it's fun watching him hit two sheoldreds (currently +90) and just skips right over them to be excited about the lands. Oh how time is fun.

Box toppers are "legends reimagined" they appear in set and collectors packs and use the commander symbol.

The box toppers are the only place to get normal foil of those cards . The card after the land is the textured. The only slot timeless lotus can land in the collectors box is the normal rare foil after the textured so its likely the least pulled mythic you see in collectors.

Even as he passes over the common/uncommon slot, any Legends card would stand out instantly. It will have the classic border, which is so different from the borders of these cards to be unmissable. There's no way to confuse a OG Magic card face from one of the ones from the newer sets. He slides them to the side of the one below it, it won't get missed.

My store got two collector booster boxes for the prerelease, and both were opened in store. One had a Legends Wall of Heat common and it looked off-center but minty-fresh.
This is a defining set of openings for Rudy… he will be genuine if he poles his favorite or something good

I'm going to get half a case of Collector Boxes for DU. Buying this set just for the chances of a Legends card is not worth blowing the money. At that point, I might as well buy the singles from that set. That aside, I like DU. I think it's a pretty solid set.
I don't play/collect MTG but something about Rudy opening and talking about packs is relaxing.

This is why I keep watching Ruby's channel. I'm just as excited in anticipation of pulling a legends card as Rudy is and the art in this set gorgeous.

Ok, I went back and paused the video during every common section. There were only 6 packs where I couldn't see that 4th common spot.
A couple I could tell that it was foil, so I knew it wasn't a Legends card.
But yes, it was driving me crazy, so I had to go back today and watch it again in slow motion. 🙂

ITs a helluva trip to see the characters from og LEgends set, those first golden multi colored cards, translated into this modern stained glass card arts. I feel like the story has gotten so odd in MTG now, that not only are the characters that everyone grew to love over the last 10+ years of the Gatewatch are just...mostly gone or no longer relevant somehow. But all these old legends are somehow back? Now? Was there another time dilation event? *shrugs * Oh well. Cool the game went back to Dominaria...AGAIN! Called it years ago.

@@daftwulli6145 they have only been in the common/uncommon slot from what I've seen so far regardless of rarity. The channel MO: The Collector pulled a Land Equilibrium from a pack and it was like the third card in. If they DO put them in the rare slots then Wizards had absolutely no rhyme or reason for the placement, which wouldn't surprise me.

No timeless lotus in 3 boxes ... can't wait to see of there is one in the first case at all. Land cycle fixed? The huge amount of 4-5 color cards can only be supported by timeless lotus so don't expect to see many opened. Otherwise the pull rates seemed ok. Hit most of the decent mythics and a ton of lands in 3 boxes.
At 10:30, Adarkar Wastes, I quite liked the subtle artwork, for others it's a "basic, plain, boring looking card" :)

While it's hard to miss a legends card due to the feel and look. He did go through them quite fast. But you can still easily see every card he pulled. It's not that difficult to catch. Don't even have to slow the video down.
Except one pack. He skipped the legends slot. Towards the end. I missed it at first. I blinked amd he was in the rares. So I backed up and noticed he had the 4th slot kinda hidden which is the possible legends slot. Lol completely missed that part. The first half was fine second box was way too fast. Imo obviously

yes you can get a rare and a mythic lost legend as a box topper she is called sivitri, dragon master and she is nuts I have her already but I just straight up bought her 😅😆 and you can get Stangg Echo Warrior 😋.

Any one else notice the pattern with WOTC where one set they put one to two special things per box such extended art foils or etched or textured cards then the set following it, they put one of that type in every single pack?
They test it like for example in ultimate master they tested extended art and people liked it so now it’s in every collector booster essentially

I bought a box, got an Indestructible Aura. But I did snag a foil borderless Liliana!
The Legends cards we pulled were within the first 1-4 cards, check the common pile :)

Well, all the "Summon Legend" cards of Legends were gold/multi colored, so yeah, any of the old names vaguely familiar is a remake, including Xira (Arien), Rasputin (Dreamweaver), Hazaezon (Tamar). They even kept their colors. Sadly they didn't make a new version of every card, so no new Gwendlyn. But there's only one Gwendlyn right 😀

WOW these boxes are awful. The VAST majority of the legendary creatures in DMU+the DMC "Lost Legends" are going to be absolutely worthless due to supply (and middling power level, and the lottery card hunt). Only the 3% chance of pulling a Legends card will keep these boxes from tanking completely, and even then I think prices will be depressed for a while once people realize just how undercooked this product is and how much worthless chaff you'll pull. A mediocre land cycle and the difficulty in pulling the decent non-legendary cards will hurt this product as well.
Are we all being trolled?? Is my sisters head stuck in the drier? Are Chulupa Supremes only soft tacos in disguise??
