Like $800 in big hits which is way off from the $2450 a case is going for on TCGplayer. Considering theres like 130 cards in the set >$5 or even >$15 on TCGplayer it might be quite a bit closer but this ain't a set for me.

As for finding a Lost Legends rare, on average you need to open 500 boosters (3% for any Legends card, one of 15 such will be rare on average). So good luck there spending 10k for a Elder Land Wurm worth $50-100 (for pack fresh). 😀
You need to open a foil imperial and a textured wren and stimpy to make it worth your while value wise… gotta plan on just holding the cards til the prices go back up in next year

I bought 2 draft packs the other day. It's the only Double Master's stuff that I've bought because it's too expensive for me. The guy hands me 2 random packs, $18 each. I pulled a regular Phyrexian Altar, a regular Force of Negation and a Foil Imperial Seal. I damned near shit my pants
force of negations seems to be pretty common for its price
It’s a balance of demand and supply, there’s a good amount of force cards but their utility is so high they stay pricey.
Those are really good looking cards. I'm not a big fan of newer cards but the Liliana and crucible looked great!

I preordered one box it didn’t get here until a couple days ago. Three bunk packs and on the fourth pack I got a textured ren and six and a etched foil ren and six. Think the value of them will go up or would you sell?

Keep in mind folks, Wizards meant for these to be 230 boxes at launch. Scalpers with access to distribution set the price much higher. Imagine Wal Mart getting in ap pallet of PS5s and deciding to charge 1000/console...WOTC needs to bring back MSRP. That would put the kibosh on most of these shenanigans.
Ditching MSRP is one of the shadiest things WotC has ever done.

Do you realize how much actual shady shit that happens because of the sellers? To be even more specific, I’m referring to LGSs. Take MSRP and the PS5 example said before. What happened? To this day, they are still difficult to obtain. Having an MSRP only allows everyone who can buy multiple, to buy multiple lol. If you offered me the launch price for DM2, I’m buying multiple cases 🤣. So what have we learned? MSRP does not change how easy it’ll be to obtain the product. That and the prices will still go up before and after they reach the secondary market regardless.

Removing the MSRP is done to shield themselves from all of the price increases over the last few years. They’ve consciously made the decision to open the door to price gouging and shifted all the blame for price increases to the LGSs. And I didn’t forget that people sell crap for more than MSRP, but a standard price tag tells uninitiated or newer consumers if they’re being charged a fair price or not. Imagine if a car company removed the MSRP from all their dealerships. A friggin sedan costs whatever the salesman is feeling at the time with only crap like average eBay losing to kind of figure out if your car is worth what you paid.
Why do so many people out there defend companies that make anti-consumer moves? Corporate-sempi will never notice you, buddy.

A Legends card is found every 33 collector boosters, which means 1 rare is every 15 Legends cards, one rare each 495 collector boosters or one every 40 boxes.

The problem with this set is the price. Would be better if they had printed more at a lower price point. Most of us can't drop $2500 on a case or take the risk on single packs that could be worthless.
Ya it should be illegal for them to do this... this is high risk gambling and gambling is illegal in most states let alone being a game for kids.. the inflation on card prices have gone insane they're basically printing money legally sadly

Got the same 4 etched cards that were in box 8 here in one of my 2 boxes (didn’t go well, shocking). The rest of the contents of the packs weren’t especially similar though.
Was it anguished unmaking? If so wotc will replace it if u contact their customer service. I got 4 anguished unmaking and just sent it back for replacement after talking to them

I bought a single double masters collector pack from my game store for $80 and pulled a full art force of negation as well as a textured foil Liliana. I will never purchase another pack lol
Was starting to think there wouldn't be any textured foils in this case! I pulled 2 textured foils out of 4 boxes, so it sounds like that's above average?

1 in 34 is the official number. Ive seen one case in person with no textured. Still have not seen a double texture case.
I was also super lucky opening 2 textured foils out of the 4 Displays I cracked + one imp seal regular foil. Got 2x Displays from 2 different cases though. There is one vid from Joey with 2 textured from the same case btw.

I’m this video; Rudy commits market manipulation by saying how cool the product he invested into.
What is he supposed to say? He liked it so he invested. If he said it was crap people would say he's trying to manipulate the market down so he can buy more cheap. No matter what he does people like you will make these claims. And from what he said he actually sold almost all of his position to patrons. I guess I can't be sure that's true, but that's what he claimed.
