I have been using mine for just over a week as well! I don't find it too big as i tried an s23 ultra for a while that really was too big. The battery life so far has been great, the display is crisp and beautiful had no issues seeing it outside in bright daylight. The only things that dissapoint me is the camera in low light is grainy i have tried different ways to improve this nothing is helping and the speakers are just ok they're not on the iphone 15 pro level however everything else about the phone is great. If anyone has any camera tips i'd be grateful i've tried changing some settings but had no luck. Overall though i do think it's a great phone and i am happy with it as an upgrade from the 13 pro i used for the past two years.
The camera has a bug across s24 models where 50mp and 200mp have improper processing that looks awful in low light. Use the 12 mp mode for most consistent colors. I observed this bug on the plus and ultra
I bought the S24+ instead of the Ultra simply because I don’t need the S-Pen, it’s much closer to the Ultra than the base model in terms of specs (compared to previous years, when it was just a larger base model), $1300 is too high (I could barely stomach $1200 for previous Ultra models), and I prefer this form factor over the Ultra’s. I got the anti-reflective screen protector for free on preorder, slapped it right on and bam! My S24+ has the same anti-reflective screen as the Ultra.
Coming from a S21U, i feel like the S24+ is doing actually better than expected. It's faster, but i feel like in some situations i lost a bit in the camera because ultras will always be ultras. But there are other benefits like more AI features and software updates and overall more comfortable in-hand feeling

I just bought my S24+ w/ Exynos 2400 set at FHD+, standard performance, adaptive motion (120 Hz refresh rate), 5G on, Bluetooth on, and after using for 5 days, I usually have around 5-6 hours of SOT that uses 80%-90% battery, mostly for social media browsing, Spotify and online shopping, without gaming. My fully charged battery usually lasts only around 20-21 hours before fully discharged. For me this is quite disappointing since all new phones I bought in the past had batteries that could last over a day with similar usage. I have been scrolling Reddit and Samsung community pages to see if other people actually have the same issue as I do, and some do, some don't. But all the TH-cam reviews seems to be praising the battery life of S24+ w/ Exynos 2400 and demo battery drain tests which mine could not replicate.

Have got the phone. My last phone was about 2 years old oneplus 9. Gotta say, I'm a bit underwhelmed. Sure it's a little better in every way but as the op 9 value at 2 yrs old is about 300 eur I guess, not sure I'm getting a 1k more value... I'm happy I didn't pay for it myself.
Has anyone else noticed a slight static noise coming from the earpiece/top speaker during calls? I'm using an S24 Plus, and I've already replaced my phone once, but the issue persists.
Why does the chip disparity thing persist and why did UK get shafted? It costs more in pounds than dollars and yet we get an inferior chip. That has always been odd to me. It must cost them a lot in sales every year but, not enough to stop doing it clearly 🤔😑
Samsung qualcomm 8 gen 3 version has been limited to match closer to the exynos version so that the exynos doesn't look too bad. 👎 as a flip 4 user, I'm thinking about going back to iPhone.
Unfortunately I wont be buying any Samsung device with an Exynos processor in it so I'll be passing on this year's generation. Hopefully the S25+ will offer parity with the US and (tellingly) Soutj Korea again.
I'm not buying a phone this year, but as someone that hates that rectangle design of the ultra and doesn't care about the S pen, the plus version looks like a better buy.
Again just like "fast charging" the main three smartyphone brands, Google, Samsung and Apple, you know the ones you see on LITERAL billboards are the only brands not give a decent gaming mode, or whatever

I'm using an S24 Plus, and I've already replaced my phone once, but the issue persists.
battery is a real shit, nice review
Why does the chip disparity thing persist and why did UK get shafted? It costs more in pounds than dollars and yet we get an inferior chip. That has always been odd to me. It must cost them a lot in sales every year but, not enough to stop doing it clearly 🤔😑
Nice video again 🎉
Just subbed 😊
I think samsung perfected it's phone's design, I like it
Exynos 2400 has wifi 7 samsung disabled it on s24 s24 plus to diff from ultra lol
Samsung qualcomm 8 gen 3 version has been limited to match closer to the exynos version so that the exynos doesn't look too bad. 👎 as a flip 4 user, I'm thinking about going back to iPhone.
Plus also has UWB, which smaller one doesn't have I think.
Can it capture pictures of moving subjects(e.g., kids, pets) at daytime, mostly blurry free?
can you compare last + version with this one?
Unfortunately I wont be buying any Samsung device with an Exynos processor in it so I'll be passing on this year's generation. Hopefully the S25+ will offer parity with the US and (tellingly) Soutj Korea again.
"We are fukcin british for the king and country" 😂
I'm not buying a phone this year, but as someone that hates that rectangle design of the ultra and doesn't care about the S pen, the plus version looks like a better buy.
I keep my s23
Can someone tell what app he used for those cool anime wallpaper
It's a great Phone, when you came from a Sony Xperia X5.
I’m looking at upgrading to this from my frustratingly laggy A53. So thanks for the comprehensive review mate
Welcome!

Here in India we are getting Exynos processor? How's that version? Is it worth upgrading from Note 10 Lite?
Lol expcept 3 nations all get exynos including south korea
Can you start shooting in a wider resolution so when I turn my s23 ultra I won't end up with all the bars on the side? Thaaaanks
Zoom out to fill the screen! There!
Again just like "fast charging" the main three smartyphone brands, Google, Samsung and Apple, you know the ones you see on LITERAL billboards are the only brands not give a decent gaming mode, or whatever
The whole "we're british god damn it" segment has me weak 😂. Nice video as always.
Uncle Spurt ,can you do a comparison video between the one ui 6.1 and 4.xx so that we all can see how big a donwgrade is in terms of navigation , I'll give you a head start : the gallery app . On my s10+ its nicely placed on the bottom while on the new models is right on top ffs just why? And why nobody cares about this?
....what exactly is placed on the bottom that's now on the top?
at 8:31 auto generated captions hilariously changed "by the time you licked your bowl clean" to "by the time you licked your ball clean". Or maybe you said it on purpose? Who knows, English is not my native language. Great video and I will refer it to many people in Brazil where we too have the Exynos version of S24 Plus.
I just switched from a Google Pixel 6 Pro and I feel like the screen isn't quite as responsive. The scrolling isn't as smooth and using SwiftKey doesn't feel quite as responsive either. Love the design though, glad they got rid of the curved 'round-the-corner' screen.
That's just how Samsung's feel in comparison to a Pixel unfortunately.
Did you turn on high refresh rate? It may be off, not sure though
4:21 you CAN'T tweat the color output and make it looks "vivid"!!! don't mislead people...
@@girlsdrinkfeck no, they said it was intentional shift and there will be no update :/
