Despite some of the comments preferring the S23 FE or S24 + I decided to order the S24FE yesterday through Samsung and they were offering some nice discounts, including a phone trade which dropped the price from $700 Canadian to (after purchasing a 45 W charger and case) to $486

For the price, I'd rather pick the A-series over this. Having that "S" moniker was supposed to be for Samsung products with better quality. This could've easily been the "A74" with that size.
I was using a a54 and I was good even have a thicker bezel and while you using it you couldn't recognize the bezel and the thicker bezel help you to not over touch the side of the screen

Samsung was smoking some weed when they priced this thing. This isn't should've been 400 at best. I mean the One Plus Ace 3 Pro Plus is like 400+ and that has insanely better specs.
Ahem, have u been keeping up with recent Oneplus news my friend. Also Oneplus ain't the same after Carl Pei left. So its now is in Xiaomi's league. Seems great value for price, is in bits after a year or so.
This is definitely the best Samsung phone I've ever heard and I have the s23FE the s24 plus and regular and I like this one way better then all of them it has slight cover around the back and it just feels the best out of all of the ones I mechend about. I got the light gray one and it does well with the fingerprints can't see them at all. Battery life after the first week of use is phenomenal I'm getting about 7 hours of screen on time. Better then any other Samsung phone I've used.
I have just gotten a Galaxy A35 not even a week ago (Tomorrow will be one week) and I have to be honest with you, other than the cameras, I feel no need at all for an upgrade. I get 120Hz, GREAT stereo speakers, all the processing power I need for my social media and messaging, I just wouldn't upgrade unless we are talking about the S24 Plus or Ultra. (Or if I liked small devices I would go for the regular S24) They do have nicer things that I would like, luxuries, but those are things I like, not things I need.
Smaller screen size and a bigger battery by increasing the thickness would've made me consider this as a worthy upgrade from my S21 FE. But with a bigger screen I just don't trust the battery life.
Unexpectedly, Samsung isn't too bad for me, you just have to customize a bit I think as I don't use auto-correct. Happy with it, especially when using Keys Cafe.
Im a bit confused about the Gorilla Glass on the back. Some (like you) say its 5, others say its Victus plus (like the front). Dutch Samsung site mentions Victus too
In the US the S24 is $200 more and currently on pre-order they giving $250 for the s20+. Going to exchange for my mom so she can have security updates for the next 7 years (though probably exchange at 4). I don't think she will notice the change in resolution, but will appreciate the zoom lense.
Great reviews. I've ordered a pixel 8 pro but I'm waiting for it to come back in stock. O2 are now offering the s24 fe with a galaxy watch for a similar price. Just trying to decide if it's worth swapping my order.
On my s20fe i get around the same battery life as you do on the s24fe....but mine is 3 years old at this point. I'd prefere if they put just plastic on the back of the phone instead of glass and put some better battery in there. Plus i am definetly not a fan of the exynos chipset. I experienced it before and while on the low end it is fine, on the higher end it tends to be hot. Realy hot.
Hi, Sorry to replay here but didn't find where else. Do you became famileir with the TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper And what's your opinion on it, compare to the Poco f6 pro 16 gb 1 Tb
I know what you're thinking: "Another S series phone? How is this any different?" Well, let me tell you, the S24 is a game-changer, and it's all in the details. Sure, on paper, the S23 and S24 look pretty similar. But when you hold them side-by-side, you'll feel the difference. Samsung has somehow managed to make the S24 feel smoother and more comfortable to hold, despite having almost identical dimensions. The slightly rounded edges and matte finish on the frame are a world apart from the sharp corners and glossy finish of the S23. And let's not forget that annoying paint chipping issue on the S23? Yeah, that's been fixed. At 168 grams, it's incredibly lightweight without sacrificing durability. It's like holding a feather, but one that can handle whatever you throw at it. If you've ever tried to use a brick like the iPhone 14 Pro with its 206-gram weight, you'll appreciate the S24 even more. So, if you're in the market for a new phone and want something that not only looks good but feels amazing in your hand, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is a no-brainer.
£649! This is getting silly. I'm looking at Motorola and Xiaomi now. But the trend to everything being " budget but flagship features so we'll scalp you on the price" unfortunately seems to be the trend. And those bezels omg 😢
I was using a a54 and It was good even have a thicker bezel and while you using it you couldn't recognize the bezel and the thicker bezel help you to not over touch the side of the screen
If you don't need to upgrade, I'd say save up a few more months and potentially get a s25 when those drop. Or wait for a sale on the s24. The price is too high for a FE.
As i write this comment, ebay sells here in Germany the normal S24 for exactly 600€ and the Xiaomi 14 which I currently have for 660€! Meanwhile the S24 FE for 749€! So think twice before you buy one!

Well, essentially they look the same . At a distance ( to the untrained eye) the A15 looks like the S24+, 24FE, A55 etc
Now compare the performance and cammera quality and it is not the same phone at all
@@gusion9367 we know that. We were referring to the design aesthetic not the performance and specs 😁
@@gusion9367 bro read my comment i said looks
For the price, I'd rather pick the A-series over this. Having that "S" moniker was supposed to be for Samsung products with better quality. This could've easily been the "A74" with that size.
Can you give me that wallpaper, please?
Shenanigans seems your favourite word 😅… good review 👍
Not really appealing at full price but the promo codes and turn in value for my Tab A8 makes it a good deal, from 750€ to 400€...
I was using a a54 and I was good even have a thicker bezel and while you using it you couldn't recognize the bezel and the thicker bezel help you to not over touch the side of the screen
"FE doesn't stand for fucking expensive." We love you Unc. 😂😂😂
Tech Spurt just got my S 24 FE on Amazon today, sell 574.00 now be letting go of my A 34 5g...Buddy you give great reviews on cell phones and funny guy to listen to, over here in America..😂
WOW REALLY I JUST ORDER ONE TODAY, I HOPE S24 FE IS FOR ME ALSO :) AND I HOPE I HAVE A BEST EXPERIENCE FROM IT.
Mr Spurt, which is the better phone, the Galaxy S24 FE or the Xiaomi 14T?
Where did u get the wallpaper? Anyways, more power! ❤
Nice video man, do you think it's better than the s23 fe for it's price?
Idk why they had to make an FE line of phones when that’s exactly why the A series has existed for so long
Mint more money
How else is Samsung supposed to get rid of their leftover A-line & S-line smartphone parts?
@@jevonsims900 that would make sense
Dont make s24 fe looks bad and shabby others spreading wrong rumors . S24 fe excellent mobile
But with a bigger screen I just don't trust the battery life.
i have the samsung a05s and its great and on top of that it was only 100 quid
Tech spurt would you need a cover for the back and plastic cover for the front?
Got myself a refurbished S24+. Very happy with it
Yo, where do you get your wallpapers?! I've been trying to find an app or website but nothing looks as good as your phones screen
Unexpectedly, Samsung isn't too bad for me, you just have to customize a bit I think as I don't use auto-correct. Happy with it, especially when using Keys Cafe.
Have used quite a few of Sammy s series phones ( first one was s4). What has improved is the ui ( from the old touch wiz).
Tnx for ur video 🎉🎉🎉
I have a Q 🎉
Do you think selling honor90 and buying s24 fe is correct job? 🎉
Xiaomi 14t pro with free tablet. Better and same price.
Uncle Spurt, do you reckon this is a decent upgrade over the S23 FE? I'm considering trading mine in for this. 😌
Loving the new set up uncle spurt how's ya liking the new homestead?
Im a bit confused about the Gorilla Glass on the back. Some (like you) say its 5, others say its Victus plus (like the front). Dutch Samsung site mentions Victus too
The battery being 4700mah and that 25W charging makes it a horrible buy even on sale.
Nah 25w is best, not painfully slow but also not a gazillion watts that’ll kill your battery in months
In the US the S24 is $200 more and currently on pre-order they giving $250 for the s20+. Going to exchange for my mom so she can have security updates for the next 7 years (though probably exchange at 4). I don't think she will notice the change in resolution, but will appreciate the zoom lense.
he's very mindful, cutesy, and demure with his words.. thats why i subscribed this channel. Again what's FE stand for?
Fan edition
Those are some lovely shots, well done.
Great reviews. I've ordered a pixel 8 pro but I'm waiting for it to come back in stock. O2 are now offering the s24 fe with a galaxy watch for a similar price. Just trying to decide if it's worth swapping my order.
did you swap your order? How is the phone you picked? I'm in the same conundrum now.
Hows this compared to the A55 ? Size wise it should be very similiar, camera comparison?
Traded in my "old" Galaxy A53 for the Galaxy 24+ and paid 629 Euros for it! Love it.
Realy hot.
Crisp review! Thank u! ✨
If all want play games play psp or on game boy or xbox 360 or want camera buy sony hand camera but dont say bad about s24 fe. S24fe excellent mobile
I’m curious, what’s your main phone mate
Great video as always
This is on sale for 550 dollars on amazon is it worth it that price? 800 bucks for s24 is a beat steep for me
Where are you getting these wallpapers from??!!
S20 FE >> S21 FE >> S23 FE
I don t get it,why is s20fe better,I also have one but clearly the newer models are better
Thank you for stating the fact that the Samsung Keyboard has the worse autocorrect feature compared to Google's Gboard
Is this Uncle Spurt's new studio? Or is he still between places?
Hi,
Sorry to replay here but didn't find where else.
Do you became famileir with the
TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper
And what's your opinion on it, compare to the
Poco f6 pro 16 gb 1 Tb
What’s your top 5 characters on Genshin Impact, Chris??
£649! This is getting silly. I'm looking at Motorola and Xiaomi now. But the trend to everything being " budget but flagship features so we'll scalp you on the price" unfortunately seems to be the trend. And those bezels omg 😢
I'm going to buy the Moto Edge 50 neo, it has 5 years of Android updates, it's very interesting
@@maurowellington72 agree, they keep tempting me into that with a trade in. I may just do it.
Xiaomi>Poco much better hardware but the lack the OS support
@@azwads5126 yep, and that niggle in my head about where my personal data is going and why.
I was using a a54 and It was good even have a thicker bezel and while you using it you couldn't recognize the bezel and the thicker bezel help you to not over touch the side of the screen
In mypoint of view , there is a possibility that Samsung may relaunch this particular model equipped with a Snapdragon processor in the future.
Samsung's redundant applications is what finally drove me to Google's stock Android experience.
Samsung are just not too bright with the software
@@jonathanport5002why cant I uninstall it? 💩
where have you seen s24 series at the same price as the FE ?
If you don't need to upgrade, I'd say save up a few more months and potentially get a s25 when those drop. Or wait for a sale on the s24. The price is too high for a FE.
Honor 200 pro with s24 fe?? Which one better camera and video??
As i write this comment, ebay sells here in Germany the normal S24 for exactly 600€ and the Xiaomi 14 which I currently have for 660€! Meanwhile the S24 FE for 749€! So think twice before you buy one!
Nice new studio right there Uncle! Dope cowboy bebop display hangin' 🔥
Greetings from Malaysia your 65 years old faithful fan
Greatvreaction dear. Pls continue your wonderful awesome reaction. Love hugs from Malaysia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
the phone was anounced literally 3 days ago and you have been using it for a week at the moment of the recording??
Hey Uncle @TechSpurt, showing those guns today, aren't u?? I wish, it had a snapdragon chip, better battery life and I like my phones BIG!! so I am tempted :) another wonderful video. cheers
Does this smartphone have DP Alt Mode, similar to MHL, for wired DeX with low latency? Is Samsung killing desktop mode as a core feature?
Will buy next year at half price😊😂
Is 25 watt charging significantly worse when 45 watt charging is throttled by the flagship phones and close to the same overall charge time as the 25 watt?
Bro that wallpaper in thumbnail ❤
Got this in the 256gb version and the wallet case for $188.02 Canadian dollars on the SPC student discount with trade in and Samsung coupon..not too shabby I’d say!!
