Absolutely horrifying ant. What makes a human being do something so despicable and cruel. I know it was a time of probably desperation and a need to survive at any cost but there's no excuse for this. It's absolutely sickening
Well people kill for money so its not surprising that they'd do something to someone already dead. Wouldn't they fill the grave back in afterwards to conceal the crime?

My dad told me about Kankey years ago and I tried to look into the history of the myth...but there's so little online. Thanks for doing this video - Kankey's Ginnel was one of the reasons I was so intrigued by the legend.
@@daftmonkey7296 You're welcome mate. Kanky is deffo a true story, my dad told me about it years ago, he didn't even use the internet. Great work mate 👏

Haha thanks a lot mate. There’s definitely truth to back up the story. That place really does have a vibe, not just the ginnel but the cemetery in general. There’s more like Kanky coming up in the future so hopefully you will enjoy them too. Thank a lot Jon 👍🏼
Another great video, the sound of that awful breathing creeps me out, I enjoyed the way you describe the characters, very well worded and polite, respectful regardless of their backgrounds. I wonder if he got the name Kanky from years ago when people used to say when they had pneumonia they used to say the cough was caused by kanky or canker (apparently used to be related to owning pigeons back in the day) maybe just an old folklore. At the end of the day such a very sad time for families involved something like this is unimaginable .:( . Well done DM looking forward to the next.🥰🥰
Its a fascinating story.....and all these tales have to have started somewhere. That 'breathing' still suggests Old Kanky is wandering up and down the ginnel. Spooky stuff mate 👌
Wowsers Ant that video of old Kanky made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I lived in Middleton for a while and had no idea about Kanky. What an evil man he must of been. Once again Ant such an interesting video, kept me glued on the video from start to end. Your sound tracks are excellent.
