Just a matte finish looks fine :) I painted my Golf MK7 GTi's mirrors red in matte, looks wicked

Nah man. Just use a wax and grease remover. Let it dry. Then apply 3-4 light coats of plasti dip. Use a clear coat plasti dip for gloss finish
Is one can of Plastidip enough for both mirrors?
Plenty. One can can do the signs and mirrors and still have plenty left. I did all 4 wheels with one can.
kate u did all 4 wheels? No way. Your wheels must be 13inches then. Or else you wont have a thick and good coverage and they will rip easily
