pokemon japan is reprinting three of its biggest sword and shield sets , but what does this mean for pokemon collectors and investors ? pokemon reprints 2024
those Sets are still in rotation not surprise at all also Lost Zone Box just topped NAIC recently, Lugia won Japan championships recently this month. Pokemon Japan has a good reason to reprint those sets just cause of this. Card from Lost Abyss and Paradigm Trigger still see massive play and maybe even more so as SV keeps going.
I am happy Japan is reprinting. My son and I have always wanted to open Japanese 151, but at 200 dollars a box it was crazy. We were able to open a box recently with my wife and kids, and we got a god pack. Charizard and Blastoise lines. And I think long term you will always be able to make money on sealed items.
I like the new background display the charizard psa cards at the side of the obsidian flames etb is a nice touch and so is putting the 3 japanese specialty year end high class set boxes together with the coins balanced in the front. but Henry did you open the iono milk carton because I dont see it?

In my opinion. I just don’t think they should do do reprints because I think that’s what makes it special for collecting because the limited cards that are printed . I have the giratina v alt art and it was suck for it to tank in value just cause the reprint because it’s my favorite card. I’m more of a collector than a seller .
Sounds like you’re a bit of both. I feel you though, it takes away from making something special especially for people like you who have pulled the giratina.

They’re reprinting because the cards are still legal for play.
