Who would have guessed huh? I think the lesson is that if an investment is too obvious, if the set is too good, if you can get it at around MSRP then do it. Pretty simple.
I'd say even now it's a good buy, I wouldn't be surprised if it got a reprint next year honestly but at 13000yen or so it's still worth buying a couple boxes if you don't have any yet, again IMO.
Yup got 7 boxes at $50 a box shipped. Opened 2 and keeping 5 sealed long term

You're right it's nuts how people try to ride the wave. I remember people buying Evolving Skies at £500+ even though it had a good run at the £130-150 mark. It's much easier for a £100 item to double than a £500 item. I think people look at the potential monetary gain but don't think about the percentages.
I still think 151 is an excellent buy at £80-100 but like you I'll be taking a break and switching my attention elsewhere.
I opted to buy Paradigm bc I figured I'd have less time to grab those late SwSh sets. Didnt buy any 151 before the price spiked back up. I think what happens is people see low prices and think they have time and arent worried, then when prices start rising on something they really want they figure "oh shit, I better grab it now while i still can before prices go up even further!"
Im just gonna wait it out tbh, I expect more 151 will be coming. Wanna grab some VSTAR universe too

Hey. This is the first time I’ve seen your channel. Where are you buying Lost Abyss from and what is it about the price that attracts you to it?
I'm still sticking with the high class sets due to their practical size. Do we know for certain if the glory of team rocket will be a high class set? Because then I will definitely double, if not triple, the amount I usually get 😊
There's too much choice & funds only go so far unless you concentrate on japanese.

Bought in mid-high 100s (AUD) Then trippled my stock at $90-$95aud.
60 or so boxes should do me well :)
Hey mate bin watching your Chanel a fair bit and I see a lot of investment Chanel’s showing the best routes to get the best prices at distro and other places with great prices could you inform me we’re are the best prices to buy from in the uk hope you can help me out as I don’t think there is 1 uk Pokemon investment Chanel that can help British people get the best prices yet USA Chanel’s have so many all I have been doing is tick tock deals as I’m not running to Costco or Pokémon centre series quistion mate as really would love to get great places to buy from in the uk at distro or near distro prices
