I prefer the open world more but SwSh felt more traditional. Ultimately, I'd prefer a Legends Arceus gameplay but with the open world.

I may be a hater but I shouldn't have to spend around $100 just to get a decent "complete" pokemon package. Especially when they should have the money to hire more employees to make at minimum the glitches disappear for a majority of players.

If you technically think about it didn't All gens except maybe 5 do this?
You had two versions of the same game released and then a third game that was basically the definitive edition.
I'd much rather have DLC over a third game.

I love SwSh. I had a lot of fun with the game and with the dlc as well.
I love the vibrant colors, the story is interesting, the gym challenge feels like a huge and important sport event that everyone watches and looks forward to (the gym challenge even has a really cool anual inauguration ceremony where you meet all the gym leaders beforehand) the atmosphere is great (even the npcs stsrt noticing your achievements during the game and the gym challengers also have their own pseudo mini stories if you paid attention) dynamax/gmax is easily the most visually impressive game mechanic of any pokemon game and the music during the gym and rival battles is awesome and really gets you hyped.
Sure, you can use terastalization against random npcs but the presentation for the battles that actually matter in SwSh is far better than in Scarlet and Violet.
Also, contrary to what you said, Dynamax and Gmax are both equally strong and useful. The only difference with gmax is the cool form change and the special gmax move but those aren't ridiculously OP moves or anything like that. You can perfectly use either dynamax or gmax during battle. None of them is particularly stronger than the other, they're equally useful. I don't even know where you come up with that (wrong) idea of gmax being significantly stronger than dynamax .
And when it comes to soundtrack, both of them have great musical themes but I honestly prefer the ones in SwSh.
The pokemon designs are really cool and the human character design is amazing and you get a lot of lore about the story of the region in basically every town and city (they all have some kind of connection to the legend of Galar with the exemption of Spikemuth for being the town that doesn't relate to dynamax/gmax and Balloonlea due to its hidden fairy town theme).
Not to mention that even the gym trainers that fight you before the gym leaders have a way better design (that fits their gyms) in SwSh.
You get to know the gym leaders outside their own gym and the league cards were also an amazing way to get to know even more about them and about the region itself.
And you even get to see the most early game characters getting spotlight later on as well.
During the main game, you don't get any meaningful interaction in Scarlet and Violet unless you're near a gym, a team star base or a titan. And, honestly, the ones you do have can get pretty repetitive.
The gym leaders in SwSh are by far more charming than the ones in Scarlet and Violet in my opinion.
And Leon is easily the most fleshed out champion of any pokemon game. We know everything about his story: his gym challenge, his friends, rivals, family, his habits, who trained him, how he got his starter, how he became the champion and even his new goals after losing the title of champion.
The lore of the region is incredibly interesting and fleshed out in many ways when you actually pay attention to it. That's a difference that SwSh has with Scarlet and Violet. SwSh doesn't spoon feed you the answers. But you can definitely get them if you connect the dots.
Scarlet and Violet expects you to wait until the very end of the game to throw you all the lore of the region in the face in the last part of the game.
Not to mention that Sword and Shield allows itself to be more funny than Scarlet and Violet too.
And the dlc story was a lot of fun. It had a cool chinese aesthetic to it with pretty fun characters. Your rival literally cheats during your battle and Mustard has two sides to him (the super chill old man with a pretty wife and a cool ex-champion that is pretty strong literally fights you with a legendary that fits his theme and you even get a secret boss fight with Honey, and she has a pretty cool theme. Not to mention that the upgrades for the dojo are far more easy to get than in Scarlet and Violet.
Peony is full of charisma, the side quests involve going to the other parts of the region to catch pretty cool looking legendaries and the lore behind calyrex (if you actually pay attention) is really interesting because he literally fought against Eternatus.
And while not technically about the games themselves, I prefer Twilight wings so much more over Paldean wings. Because it's pretty much a sequel to the entire story and features all the characters we met instead of three randos that had nothing to do with the story.

I give it to scarlet and violet mainly because of the story overall. But DLC wise, I was more disappointed with scarlet and violet. The DLC for sword and shield had nothing to do with the main story so there was no pressure really. Just extra content and new pokémon so it was just fun. Hidden treasure of area zero ties in to the main story so it meant more in my opinion, and it just didn't deliver the way it should have. I was pretty disappointed with the indigo disk lol either way I like them both.

SwSh is infinitely better than SV. The only reason you'd prefer to play SV over SwSh at this point is for easy shinies with the DLCs or playing wifi competitive. I'm currently playing sword because Scarlet and the DLCs are literal garbage and i dont care about wifi battling. I'd rather master the battle tower, complete the dex of GOOD pokemon, and maybe rarely shiny hunt. SV is a total failure.

There were more frequent Raid-Den events in SW/SH, a Battle Tower, Legendary Shiny-Hunting in the DLC, a way to breed pokemon that took half the time it does in S/V, community hosted Shiny Raid-Dens, etc.
I like shiny-hunting in S/V, and Tera-Raids can be challenging. That's about it, I really hope the next generation is more like gen VIII because I spent a lot more time in SW/SH than I ever will in S/V.

When it comes to the DLC for gen 9 I think the main thing missing is some type of replay factor/minigame to bring us coming back. (Examples: Dynamax Adventures in Sword/Shield DLC or Ultra Wormholes In USUM.) Both let us shiny hunt legendaries / other random Pokemon and were overall enjoyable in general. Now that I shiny hunted the starters and found every shiny locked legendary In the Indigo Disk... Well thats it. Gen 9 is technically "done" until that event on the 11th. (Which seems to add 1-2 hours of gameplay max) And now ironically I'm just going back to Sword and Shield Crown Tundra DLC (Dynamax Adventures) and Legends Arceus (More fun Shiny Alpha hunts / completionist content) Even for people who don't LOVE dynamax adventures/Ultra wormholes at least it gave us some way to shiny hunt legendary Pokemon at the time. But removing shiny hunting legends in general, AND not having some type of DLC/post game gimmick.. It's really going to hurt the longevity of these games. This means were probably gonna get a rushed gen 10 (whenever it comes out) and more rushed remakes in 2024.. I think overall Scarlet & Violet win this one, but as for replayability Sword and Shield edges it just because of the DLC features

This is honestly laughable. Sword and Shield has one of the worst stories I've ever seen not just in Pokemon, but in any game in general. Scarlet and Violet has one of the best, most satisfying conclusions to a Pokemon game in years without DLC.
Also, I've played both games, and I can confidently say that Scarlet and Violet are much better than Sword and Shield. Yes, SV are technical disasters, but then again, I'd rather play a game that way than a game that feels like a slog to progress through.

For the dlc - Scarlet and violet, even tho the story isn't great, at all(i know it's a pokemon game so the writing is the bare minimum) but I couldn't tell you the story for the sword and shield dlc. Scarlet and violet is fun.
The region - galar, it just needed better route designs and just depth to buildings. Paldea didn't feel like a region, just a tick list, and the depth to buildings is even worse than before.
New Pokémon - I can't decide. Both are great.
Quality of life: scarlet and violet for sure

    • @giboit.
      @giboit. 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

There's a lot of lore about the legendaries.
Literally every town and city in the region had some kind of connection to the legend of Galar (except for ballonlea for the whole hidden fairy town aesthetic and spikemuth for being the town that doesn't relate to dynamax).
Eternatus fell like a meteor on Galar (the other probably in the place where the dynamax adventures take place in current times) and forced Calyrex to teleport an entire forest to save the pokemon living there (the same forest that is now near the house of the player and that was probably what was there instead of the dynamax adventures place). Turning pokemon into giants while flying through the region (passing through the crown tundra and some of the islands near the Isle of armor).
While passing through Hulbury it ended up causing the existence of the first gmax pokemon (gmax toxtricity) that saved hulbury from the attack and that it was so big that people from Milo's town were able to see it happen (and thus, created the geoglypht).
Around the same time, Regigigas, that was roaming around Galar (that's why there's so many places called "Giant's something" in the region) saw the first darkest day as a giant "storm" of dynamax energy (which is dragon type energy) which was very likely what inspired regigigas for the creation of regieleki (electric type regi inspired by the "storm") and regidrago (made literally from the draconic energy left in the process).
Then the ancestors of Swordward and Shieldbert (that witnessed Eternatus arrival on Galar) were the ones that found the shrine with the ancient relics necessary to summon Zacian and Zamazenta (after Calyrex teleported the entire forest to mainland Galar) and they used them to summon both of them.
And thus, Calyrex and Kubfu/Urshifu (the fairy king and the fighting master) made a team with Zacian and Zamazenta (the hero duo) to defeat Eternatus and after defeating it, this made Eternatus scatter wishing stars through the entire region.
This fight was so intense that Calyrex ended up super injured and was rescued by the people of the crown tundra that healed him up. And even then Calyrex was still so traumatized from the fight that he couldn't see people with an opened hand because it reminded him of Eternatus. And Zacian and Zamazenta got so hurt that they needed to go to the (currently called) "Hero's bath" in Circhester to heal their wounds before going back to their shrine.
Because of this, the people of Galar attributed the entire victory to the ancestors of Swordward and Shieldbert (creating the ancient tapestries to remember the real legend) but the events of legend eventually got so mixed up with the pass of the centuries that people ended up believing that it was just a single human hero with a sword and a shield who saved the day back then.
Eternatus fell into what currently are one of the Galar mines owned by Rose and was discovered by him eventually, taking it to hammerlock to (eventually) start his plan.
It's very likely that Eternatus arrival 3000 years ago caused several (permanent) mutations to pokemon and plants while flying through the region due to overexposure to its energy. Like Calyrex's blue aura, the giant tree from the crown tundra, the galarian legendary birds (that I personally think that are three flying type pokemon mutated by Eternatus energy) and the tree where you can currently find the max honey in the isle of armor and the max mushrooms that you can find through the entire (main) island as well.
Also, all the galar legendaries are tied to an entire set of constellations that are near each other:
      Lepus the hare (Calyrex),
Orion the hunter who wields a sword and a shield (which was a giant and very obviously inspired the idea of dynamax/gmax and the legend itself),
The spectral horse head nebula (spectrier),
      Monoceros the unicorn (glastrier),
Canis major and canis minor (zacian and zamazenta), which are right next to the hydra constellation (Eternatus), with this one being the largest of the western constellations (just like Eternatus is the largest of all pokemon). And that is also said to have dragon breath and poisonous blood.
This group of constellations is also next to gemini (the identical twins: the two forms of urshifu) and such constellation lies across the border between two quadrants: the quadrant of the tiger and the quadrant of the vermilion crane, which just happens to be the real world fighting styles that inspired both forms of Urshifu.

It’s as you said because of the atmosphere of the previous stadium battles and how people gradually started reacting to your accomplishments, I felt like I had become a strong trainer. After fighting in pretty generic gyms in Paldea however where they try to hype the small battle courts as much the giant stadium it doesn’t feel as large in scale and influence. Especially after beating the chairwoman champion so easily the next battle felt so underwhelming for me.

I’m gonna have to lean towards Sword and Shield on this one. I definitely enjoyed the story of SwSh a lot more as it felt more like a story, rather than various Tidbits that feel like kind of a hassle to find. The SwSh characters were also way better and were fleshed out a lot more, while in SV, the only characters we really get to know are Arven, Penny and Nemona, who were decent, but fell into many common tropes. I also believe the Gym Challenge was much better in SwSh (including titans and star raids into gym battles) as they felt like a driving force within the region rather than something that’s just there. The Gym Leaders in Galar felt like star athletes, which was awesome to me, while the Gyms in SV really didn’t feel like they carried much weight within the region. I can’t say I don’t like the legends better in SwSh too, as in SwSh, Zamazenta and Zacian were very well designed and fit very well into the region, which I can’t say for Koraidon and Miraidon, which is to a certain extent understandable, as they are from different times and are supposed to be foreign, they didn’t really have much lore nor did they have the best designs. I also believe the SwSh had much better DLCs. One of my biggest gripes of SV is how incomplete it was and how it relied on the DLCs to finish the game, rather than truly finishing it on its own. My other gripe and perhaps one of my bigger ones, is that the DLCs also felt like they had very little to do with the actually game. I mean, we spent the DLC of a Spain based game in Japan and America, which really doesn’t make much sense to me, given that there was an area next to the Paldea region (I believe it was the area based on Barcelona but I’m not sure) that they didn’t use and would have been perfect for the DLC. It really felt very random to go from a Spanish region, to 2 completely seperate regions, which may factor into why I felt that Ogerpon didn’t fit into SV very well. I also can’t help but dislike how little the DLC has to do with area zero, with a very small portion of the American part of the DLC actually being set in it. It felt as if it was something slotted in at the end to tie loose ends. I mean, Terapogos has very little to do with the rest of the indigo disk other than what we did in AZ. I feel like Fan Specualtion for the DLC was super interesting, and showed pretty obvious paths they could have taken, and really would have made more sense for them to take, such as the theories about Geeta, and Briar and such that never were expanded on. I also felt that Terapogos was very underwhelming, especially compared to our last to gimmick embodiments in Eternatus and Necrozma, who were both, like Terapogos, sleep for the majority of the story, but still managed to make an impact Terapogos just didn’t have. On the other hand we have the SwSh DLCs which were literally the opposite, taking place in areas that made sense, expanding on a completed story, making the Expansion pass seem like an Expansion rather than the rest of the story we weren’t give in the actually game, and included more interesting characters, Pokemon and legendaries that were awesome. Finally, I also believe that SwSh was more replayable (this may have been a personal thing though, as I managed to replay SwSh 8 times, while I can’t bring myself to replay SV even once), as I felt that sword and shield offered more interesting game play than SV did.

Gameplay: while there's now a option to relearn moves & nickname your mons in the Poke center of SwSh, SV goes further & lets u do them right from the menu so u don't have to go anywhere for that. TMs are craftable through the materials u picked up. Gen8 had TRs as the breakable TMs & u can either get them by defeating raids or locating watt traders in the wild area. & yeah, I prefer the way it's in SV though reusable TMs should make a comeback cuz that's what everybody prefers.
Gimmick: 1 crucial u didn't mention is that changing the tera type of any Pkmn (even once) takes 50 shards of a respective type & that requires grinding out tera raids or find wild tera Pkmn but those r far from being guaranteed to what u want. The Indigo Disk made it way easier, yet this shouldn't have been an issue in the 1st place. This once again caused headaches for competitive players. 1-5 tera shards should be the maximum amount to switch the types. Imagine if u had to look for Z-crystals for each of your Pkmn. Wouldn't that be unnecessarily tedious & annoying?
Rivals: SwSh had 3 rivals & out of them, only 1 got the spotlight whereas the other 2 got pretty shafted. Even then Hop is quite despised in the community, so the rival/friends in this gen take a massive L. I only hope Nemona returns in future games & turns into our main rival again cuz she's a champion & champions do make a lot of reappearances. Also, it'd the 1st time where an older character becomes a reoccurring rival in the next game/gen.

DLC 2 of SV was pretty disappointing while DLC 2 of Sword and Shield has infinite replayability due to the underground Raids where you could hunt for the legendary of your dreams while in SV the only way to get old legendary is by making blueberry quests and some legendary need group quests to unlock so if you don't have online or friends you are pretty much blocked of certain legendaries and there's also the fact they are all shiny locked

In my opinion Graphic Wise: SWSH/Story:SV. I will say I do prefer SV textures because the Pokemon have depth and texture to them now like Seviper having visible scales and Megnemite being shiny since they're made of metal. I will say I am disappointed with SV poor fashion since we have to wear uniforms when literal NPCs like the Gym Leaders having unique styles. I wanted to look unique too, not a boy/girl scout. I liked that they gave you unisex face/hair customization in which I can kinda see why they didn't add fashion because then people would ask about how come the clothes aren't unisex which would awaken a "woke" argument but we all know that the unisex character costumization from these games except the selection of your characters skin tone is going to be removed in future games. I still want clothes like from X and Y fo return and the clothing rating system to see what styles of clothes I can mash to see what's "Elegant" or "Punk/cool". And SWSH brought that style back to a degree. I will say I do like X and Ys art style more compared to both these games because our trainer kinda actually looked mature despite following the trope of a kid, but SV makes us look like we are/under 9 years old and SWSH we still look like a kid but like 10-12. But to me they both have equal faults/positives which makes them even to me.

I honestly prefer the more traditional feel to Sword and Shield compared to Scarlet and Violet. I thought Sw/Sh were disappointing when they released and didn’t pick up the game for months or maybe even a year after release. After beating the game my impressions stayed about the same. It’s a generic Pokémon game. Not special but not awful. After picking up Scarlet day one I immediately felt it was worse than Legends was and Legends was an absolute joy for me. After some time has passed I’ve still not beat Scarlet because playing it is so uninteresting, so I keep finding myself going back to the 3DS, DS, and Gameboy games for a good time. Scarlet has some nice things, but it feels so much like a step forward and so many steps back. Sword and Shield for me is just better at presenting a Pokémon experience when set next to the other games in the series. Scarlet and Violet had an amazing basis with Legends to work with, but they just dropped the ball with filling out the world with things to do and level scaling because of its open world nature. I feel like the producers might not have a fully realized understanding of how to translate the formula of Pokémon into an open world on the same scale as games like BOTW and Skyrim when it comes to filling out the world with things to do and not making the game feel lost. Scarlet and Violet try and push you toward going out on your own adventure with multiple stories you can tackle in ‘any order’ you’d please, but they just don’t scale things and make any sort of path available that leads into each other. Sword and Shield are linear so there of course isn’t any issue with progression feeling very sparse and long between story. Even Legends has a more linear path so its story feels much more streamlined to me. This is just my opinion, but I think they still can make open world work if they put more effort into translating the formula of the games into this style of game.

I honestly love Sword (I completely forgot to get Shield lol) when I got Violet (I just got Scarlet yesterday, so no real time to play) I HATE and still hate the fact that in S/V you have to TALK to trainers along routes. I was stoopid on my first playthrough, and didn’t bother to challenge any and… heheh…. I was absolutely DESTROYED by EVERYTHING. Then, once I decided to Exp grind a bit, I was over the level cap. Idk if this was just me, or a lot of peeps, but ye. I COMPLETELY agree that Gen 8 was better, I couldn’t put the game down! With Violet, I got lost and just gave up after a bit. Still a personal thing, but it is my opinion. I did love the fact that I was traveling on a Pokémon instead of a bike. Sword was a more controlled environment, and that can be good in some ways, definitely less buggy, but I had some fun with the landscapes (even tho I got lost lol). In my eyes, Sword will always be better, but Violet was a good experience. The fact that I can pick up Violet again and have more fun after beating the main game is amazing! I find it hard to pick up Sword again and enjoy it without PAYING to buy the DLC, and Ik S/V has a DLC, but at least I can roam around freely. Just my long ass opinion rant tho XD.

If they ever let us make our own teams/leagues, that would be DOPE.

But there are only 1 or 2 small places in paldea that have Spanish influence (design wise). While Galar was completly British. From the countryside to the big cities, Galar feels so alive. Even the Pokémon centers feel British.
Edit: also, the towns in paldea feel so lifeless with nothing to do. Take Levincia for example. It is a lifeless group of tall grey buildings with the only buildings being enterable are the shops. While the ice town in SWSH (I can’t remember the name), has so much stuff to do/enter. It specifically has two hotels that each have tons of rooms that each have something to do or a cute little secret.

    • @Draco7876
      @Draco7876 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@BluescreenSharp because you're actually involved with the happenings going on in Paldea. SwSd you're essentially told to focus just on the gym challenges and that's really it where as with SV you're in multiple things from the regular gym system to helping Arvin beat titan pokemon(personally my favorite aspect cause seeing great tusk as a giant titan was so freaking cool) to finding out the truth and helping team star and the staff come to an understanding of what both sides did wrong. Then you have the area zero story pre-dlc which was absolutely heartbreaking and a huge investment for me. There's so many different things SV did with its story and how it interacted with your character where as SwSd didn't do or allow the player to interact until imho the crowned tundra. The story for the main villians in SV was also done so much better as the "villians" weren't villians they were just people who fought back against bullying and got punished for it which I can relate to in my life as i did that a once or twice and got severely punished for it where the bully didn't get half as harsh of a punishment. SwSd villian..... dude imma be honest Rose was just a shit villian and his motivation made no sense to do what he did. 1000 year later problem can't wait until after the championship battle? Really, my guy? You also don't get much of seeing eternatus being used as an energy source it's just dropped there before fighting rose.
There's so much lack of a story and showing for SwSd it was really underwhelming. SV took those mistakes and cranked it to 120 and I loved it. We got the regular gym system, Arvin's past and current objective saving his pokemon, Penni who is still the leader but wanted to do what's best for her friends of team star, Ogrepons past and her struggle against the toxic trio, and Kiki's story on self improvement and growth theres a lot not only in story but in characters.

    Short answer: No.
Long Answer: Scarlet/Violet felt more ambitious and more like a game trying to step into the modern era. Sword and Shield does not.
In terms of plot, SV ends up being better because the player has ultimately more freedom and, in my opinion a more likable cast of characters. In addition to being treated as a god among men, Leon came off as annoying with how often he'd stop the player or take care of events. Team Yell is, In my opinion, the worst team yet, and the true villains of the game aren't much better. Star might not be as evil but all five admins have very likable personalities. the climax, alongside multiple story lines and better characters help give SV the edge in that regard
Dynamax Raids are infinitely more enjoyable than Tera Raids, but Terastilization is infinitely better than dynamax. it is more unique, and much less annoying to deal with compared to dynamaxes.
Pokemon are subjective so I can't really say which game has better pokemon
SV DLC mostly wins, Teal Mask is infinitely better than Isle of Armor, which had a sloppy rival and a legendary basically handed to them. Crowned Tundra only really got by via Dynamax Adventures
Kieran is an infinitely better character and there is actually a tad more to do in Blueberry Academy. the overall plot is much better too.
So no, i do not believe SWSH is better than SV. If the next game can retain what SV did without all of the performance issues ill gladly accept this new era of Pokemon

My opinion differs but i think thats due to our different priorities. For me, region building is near my favourite part of any pokemon game, and this is the area where sw/sh REALLY excel. From the gym challenge to the towns, the game is steeped in galar culture. Being british as well, it really feels homey to me. I will say Sc/Vi are much better for the franchise and I think gameplay wise its the right move to make. Legends arceus has the gameplay/story of sc/vi and the worldbuilding to match sw/sh. Legends is by far the best switch game game freak have made imo.

Sword and Shield is EVERYTHING! I do love it, I really do. Scarlet & Violet from the jump just didn't do it for me. when it first came out I didn't even know it was a main line gen 9 game, I thought it was a shitty spin off. I was very wrong. Sword and Shield from the start gave me LIFE! It was the game that made me gate the switch. And do not even get me started with my love for Leon and Hop! My all time faves now!

Its sad cause prior to release i thought scar and violet would be the best pokemon games ever and would bring the franchise to a new golden era. I was so wrong lmao. Still enjoyed it though for the most part. Havent touched since I beat though gonna get the dlc soon hopefully it brings it up a notch h

In terms of main rivals, I think the best rival in all the main-line games is Silver because of his extremely-compelling lore, and he wasn't tied down by the "rival picks starter weak to yours" trope in later games. But Nemona vs Hop specifically - I'd pick Hop anyday. Hop is goofy, passionate, and had great character development; the writers gave him something to do and an obstacle to overcome. Nemona, on the other hand, was passionate, but lacked the charm and development that Hop had. She was annoying and one-dimensional; the very same reasons I'm not a big fan of Ash in the anime.

If only the pokemon company took their time on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. Where they got rid of all the bug issues and then tested the game to make sure the bug issues were gone. Those games would have been a huge hit and awesome. But no. I don't think the pokemon company will ever fix these bug issues for the main game. Basically I don't think we will ever get huge patches for these games. I know there were patches here and there but still.

I find the main problem with Pokemon as a game franchise is just the fact they make new systems for their games every iteration and instead of updating and refining they throw it away and start again on over and over. The amount of dev time they waste is almost amazing if it wasn't for the fact people pay for this to continue.

I’m giving it to Scarlet and Violet. Outside of the bugs, the customization, and the lack of a shiny sound, it’s actually a really fun games.
Also, Charizard in Sword and Shield just ticks me off. I’m glad that Starter Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet are being treated better.

For me swsh did better on giving all the new pokemon to everyone who buy the dlc for one version, yes some needs second time playing the dlc to get both the new regi and both urshifu, only the returning legendary you will not get them all, but every legendary and also utra beast is in here, also rather living hop in the base game, we see him in isle of armor and doing his dream to become a prof, pokemon sv focus on new characters, arven , nemona , penny was left behind in the main game also the pecharunt event, the story connection onthe base game is the area zero stuff if you remove it, you will have dlc does not have connection to the base game, new paradox needs you to buy the other version with the dlcs if you don't have any friends who plays pokemon or video games, thats 95 bucks, total you need 190 bucks, in swsh i only need one extra regidrago to get zamazenta in home trade, but for sv they don't want to trade there exclusive legendary paradox for extra copy of your legendary, the story sv dlc one is like watching a field trip ep and the blueberry acadamy is short just beat bb torny and moves on the story for terapagos, if feels rush, in swsh the crown thundra you learn about the new legendaries, so for dlcs i prefer pokemon swsh, they make sure that player one needs one copy to get all the new dlc pokemon and also the dlcs is swsh, you learn about leon master.
