    I added a lot of photo's of the measurements in both centimeter and inch. This was done because I often get questions related to measurements. Also added a dark filter to the duck background and fixed the too hefty transitions. If you guys have any remarks in or how to make the videos more interesting, or what can be improved to the structure of my content, please let me know your suggestions. Also, thank you all that take the time to read this for your continuous support since November. It has been a very interesting time communicating with you all! :D

      Short question, dear Neosphinx. I do Simracing on PC with an Ts-Xw-Wheelbase with T-LCM pedals from thrustmaster. For me works fine, but sometimes I think, its not enough to be competitve. Is this set in your opinion good enough for the Competition in ACC? Thx for your feedback!

    Great review 👍 I did notice the opening was a bit darker which was nice. Easier in the eyes. Your comprehensive review was very well done. I think it looks like a very good casual gamer wheel base like you said. Definitely a lot of adjustability which is a big plus for the price. I did think the wheel base pedestal was a little flexy but can be expected for the mid level rig. The seat does looks fantastic. 🍻

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource

      Yeah, I reviewed some of my transitions and wondered how many people I caused epilectic seizures already. Thanks and the seat is absolutely top. No backpains, Easy in and out, comfortabele but yes, some flex but still in relation to others of that price surprisingly little. Great seat... am going to try ask them if I can offer a discount to viewers when i do the run-down of the first 10 seats I reviewed.

    This video is almost a year old, but because I'm currently thinking about spoiling my apartment with a new Simrig, I came across your videos.
    I like your style, even if I have other priorities and flirt with the Playseat Trophy because of the weight.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your priorities are stability and moveability, the Trophy is the better choice. It weighs 16 kg and that is absolutely incredible for the stability you get. Like you say, all about priorities. Overall the GTO is better because of its bang/buck. This saturday i will bring out the countdown of the basic rigs where I go a little deeper into the difference.

    • @ParrotHH
      @ParrotHH ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SimulatedDrivingResource Great, I'm looking forward to it.
      I've heard in other reviews of the Playseat Trophy that the height of the mounting plate for the wheelbase is "a bit high". Maybe you like to take that into account somehow in the comparison.
      I'm more the type who has the steering wheel as far down as possible in the car and also in simracing. On my long car rides, I often steer with my knee for miles while eating a burger... 🙂 and when simracing, I want as little view of the TV as possible obscured by the steering wheel.
      Yes, the Playseat Trophy is obscenely expensive. I'll rather look around on the second hand market, and buy when I see something suitable and cheap nearby there. Until then, my Playseat Challenge will continue to serve me well.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct. Because of its tubular form, it doesnt have the same configurability options when it comes to adjusting height of the wheel. All compromises we must make... not being able to eat burgers anymore while we drive 😂 i normally put it in the comparison. Well not in that phrasing but for configurability. The good news is that it came down +-100€ which makes it very competitive against the other available tubular frames. More info on saturday 😈 thanks for the comments friend and there are much worser seats to be stuck in then a reliable Playseat Challenge 👍👍👍

    Thanks for the review! Good to hear the seat is nice. Why did you choose this one of the three choices? I find the flex of the wheel deck a bit much. Perhaps the gt omega Titan is a better option. Btw how do you like gran turismo 7 compares to pc sims?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because I suspected bang for buck it would have been the best. 😅 yes, if you put stability high as a requirement, the Titan should be better due to the usage of more thicker round tubes. I noticed that type of construction generates more stability. I don't play racing-games on PC but what i do like is that GT7 is more accessible to people. I made an opinion on this in the segment GT7 of my videos.

      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found the Art already sturdy and stable enough for my T-GT. I have not tested the Titan yet, but I assume it is even more rigid. I see a price difference of 140€. That is a lot and IN MY OPINION it can't be worth it over the already fine Art. Again, I need to stress I have not tested the Titan yet, only similar built (tube) rigs.

    Do you think it's worth paying the $$$ difference for the PRIME model?
    Thanks

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Prime's tubular design will add rigidity. Its hard to put a price on it. I do like the prices from GT Omega in general so also in general, its worth it BUT it depends on you. The ART is already pretty stable and will be sufficiant for starting and intermediate drivers. If you are very "picky" about flex then go for Prime. If not very picky and you primarily race for fun, the Art is the way to go. Thank you for the support friend!

    I'm thinking of upgrading to this from my Playseat Challenge. Do you think it will handle the 8nm Fanatec CSW 2.5 well enough with loadcell pedals?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not a single seat I tested has no flex. They all range from horrible to minimum. This seat qualifies at the sub-top of minimum for wheelbase and top for pedals. It will handle your hardware. Although what it will also do is, and that is something people tend to forget to ask, is make your ride comfortable. By far the best to get in and out and find a seating position WITHOUT having to buy extra's like e.g. rail sliders. When you buy this chair and it arrives, you actually have the feeling you get what you paid for... something I found to be very rare among the seats I yested. Are you expecting for your wheelbase and pedals not to move at all? Then the ART will not be adequate and you will need to spend about 150-200€ more...

      The GT Omega Titan use tubular framing where the base-holder is attached to as opposed to rectangular tubing of the ART... It will give you less flex supposedly.
