Hallo! It does not connect! There is no picture of the HF8 on the left side. Can anybody help me please!
Congrats 👏
I'm really surprised TR canceled their TR80 lite. With that TR40, is there any lateral wobble in the uprights due to not having more than just 40mm of base support?
Unfortunately I have been quite busy and haven't been able to do proper testing but for what I can see at this moment, the wobble is very very limited much to my surprise. Only thing I can tell for sure is that it probably will not be suited for a motion platform.
Should i get the thrustmaster ts-pc and how much nm does it have
Around 6.2Nm. New, I would not buy it unless there is no other direct drive alternative available. Second hand for a good price, why not. I drove the t-gt for a year and was very happy with it.
great video
Thanks!
How long does the shipping take to belgium? Im thinking of buying this one. Thanks
Not sure friend. I bought once from Oplite via Amazon and I remember it was quite rapid but this was 3 years ago.
I recently bought it and I had to wait for about a week. Pretty fast given I had ordered on a Saturday.
@ nice i just ordered mine lol, hopefully it gets here quickly cause im really excited
This is the upgrade for my wheelstand 2.0 because im getting more competitive in simracing and the biggest problem i have is that my chair moves a lot under heavy braking even with the chair holder
Great video, i am recently using playseat trophy second hand for only 275 $ and I am loving it, you have to spend some time for adjustmens of straps later it pays back. Greetings
That is a very good price for the Trophy!!
I would advise anyone to avoid wheel stands and foldable rigs .Playseat GT Omega and NLR do rigs for most budgets
The price of transport and and the tax for administration, could be a nightmare, depending on the country
But what about people that are short for space? I mean if I wouldn't have had half my garage, I would only have my living area to put a rig and then I wouldn't have the chance to opt for anything else than a foldable rig.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Honestly for me Sim racing is not about compromising .I tried starting off with a wheel stand and soon as I set it up I knew I had to get a cockpit .Now the lounge of my 1 bed flat has o 50 in tv one side of the room and my GT Omega prime and 48 in 4k monitor on the other and work round it lol
I understand and don't get me wrong. I would also recommend for those who have the space, budget and drive a few hours in the week to get a full rig as it enhances the experience.
Maybe just me but the name racgting is something I will never say out loud,
I’m torn between this and the p1x-pro, the F-GT is $50 cheaper right now but I’m still undecided
Unfortunately I have no experience with the P1x
@ it’s ok, I ended up going with with the P1X-Pro went to micro center and seen it in person and really loved it
From the pictures it looks rigid, stable and configurable and knowing Simlab, it is quality. Drop me a comment in a a week or two about your experience. I would love to follow-up. 👍👍👌
@ yeah I’ll get back To you once I’ve put in some hours!
I have to say u seat in a good position in the playseat, but the reality is u need a comfortable seat for long races! oplite for pc, playseat for consoles!
Thx for another great video. I will agree that personal preference is key here. I prefer the Oplite as i do like a sturdy seat and at 120kg do not trust the longevity of the “hammock” in the trophy. The cushions in the oplite can be renewed and as long as the seat doesn’t crack i am good. If the trophys velcro gives in after a few months/years the will be a pain in the rear. With the caster wheels the point for moving around is easily eliminated. The flex you showed is non existent for me due to the full force kit i have on my rig. Makes a huge difference. But finally, as u said, u can’t really go wrong with either. Its all a matter of minuscule personal preferences.
Absolutely. Buy some wheels and that issue is solved. It is more like a warning I give out so people don't forget, when they buy the Oplite, to add some wheels to it if they need to move it. As for the fabric of the Trophy, I read indeed that a few people had issues with the fabric or velcro teariing, but I won't comment on it as it can be possible that its due to wrong use. But again, very true. If you need to replace it, it will be a pita.
I got this rig half a year back in the full force variant. I love sitting in it and driving, but getting in and out is a bit uncomfortable. I would give it a 9/10. For the price i found nothing close to even consider. I also have the wheels because u do need to move it around in my limited space environment. I actually watched many of your vids trying to find the right rig for me but the S1 was not available when i was ready to order so i took this one. No regrets and happy to finally find your review here as well which i can confirm every aspect of.
I have someone who says it is a bit uncomfortable, and I have someone who says it is not uncomfortable to get in and out.... :D I would say, from the design, that it would indeed be more difficult. Must be an age thing
@ possible, i am 40+ after all… 😁
Thank you for the great video!
Hi , I have 3 Loadcell ledals (Simjack pros) without a baseplate can I mount then onto the Gt Lite pro directly?
Sure. I don't see why not. The system of the pedal base on the lite pro is very flexible when it comes to pedal placement.
@SimulatedDrivingResource ty man, i was unsure as i couldn't find anyone using a pedal set without a base attached to it being mounted on the gt lites pedal attachment.
@@honkler1844 do take into account that mounting pedals without a base will make them far less rigid. While technically possible, the flex on the brake will increase.
Bonjour; est ce que tu fais des evaluations en francais? J'aime bien ce que tu fais en passant!
J'essaies de mettre des sous-titres mais pas francais verbale. Juste un peu trop difficile pour moi 😎
Im going from a Logitech G920 And i cant decide between these 2 My budget is 400-450 Im thinking about the Moza R5 as the Fanatec has cheaper build quality Will the 2.2NM Logitech to the 5.5NM Moza be a big difference or just a little difference?
Its more the big difference in transmission that is striking. Without the gears, the difference feels huge. But ofcourse, also the difference in power will be noticeable
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Which one do you recommend more for me? R5 or fanatec
My personal opinion is that the force available is just a little on the light side. Fanatec has an upgrade possible in the form of another PSU. That is something MOZA has not and it is why I would pick the Fanatec. But... that is my experience. You might find it enough. I can only make videos pointing out the differences.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource So you would rather pick the Fanatec? Have you ever had issues with the "quick release" Cracking? as ive heard thats an issue
Sure. Issues with the collar and the qr makes some noise. Nothing an hour of repair time and a headset can't fix For me not a big deal but for others I can see it can be an issue.
Congratulations
That's one thing I hear people saying and I just don't get it like you we're all computer gamers like heating is a thing that's in our nature like we we learn how to work out heat out of our systems with cooling fans and liquid cooling and AIO and all that
Great info, bud. This is off-topic, but I think when I can get some extra $, I'm going to get a DOF reality motion sim rig. I've been looking at the 2 axis one. It was under $2,000. I went back to vr and got rid of the triple screens. Motion is the only thing I'm missing now for total immersion.
2000 is quite a heavy investment. Thats more than my entire setup 🤭 but from what I have seen, it must be quite the experience.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource I've got over $2,000 in just my PC now. Just upgraded to AM5 stuff, so it would run the quest 3 with little issues. you know I'm all about the immersion. lol.
Bro, you need to install Cammus C series using the desktop clamp's metal shield which have 3 angle adjustment and can hold fan. Installing it the way you did is not the best plus it looks ugly. Nice Video though.
From my pov, its more practical without. 4 bolts. Is removed in about a minute and is sturdy and easily storable in that form. I dont care how it looks really. Yes, for a proper review, perhaps I should include it but honestly, I don't see the added value personally.
Merry Christmas, bud. Gratz to the winners!

My cammus is coming! Get it for 341€ and i hope its good. As a beginner i think i make nothing wrong with this payment/ investion.
Its a very sensible choice friend. Enjoy the drive
Are you reviewing the new Indigo Lime rig?
Not really at the moment. They are also bit pricey for my budget and probably will not come on EU second hand market soon. I will mail them to see what I can do
Can you change the stearing wheel with this product?? For example the FERRARI F1 WHEEL Thrustmaster
Absolutely.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource thanks mate 😀
thanks for the review Which size ist the monitor? 09:30
32 inch. Normally I have it closer to the rig though
Great video! I was planning on buying the challenge x but ended up buying the new GT Omega Sprint. I would love to see a side by side comparison as the gt omega seems a bit more sturdy and still folds the same
I will send another request to GT Omega but so far they have not been forthcoming when it comes to testing their equipment.
Thanks for the comparison. You were very thorough. I have a set of v3 and I really like them. I did have to get the elastomer upgrade which I feel should have been included. By the way, what is the narrow city course you were using? Is it available for assetto corsa?
That is Italy in BeamNG. I don't think they have it in AC.
I had an S8 Elite for a while, loved it, rock solid with the extra side support bars. I had to sell it though due to getting motion actuators and needing 4080 rig.
Ohhhh.. were the extra side supports hindering you to get in and out? I didn't have them to test but I just assumed they would hinder a bit. For the rest, like you say, very very solid even in standard form.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource I found the wheel arch bars were a little "springy" in the up/down direction without the add on support bars. Once the support bars were fitted nothing moved on the rig, It didn't make much difference to getting in and out of the rig.
@wickfut-racing thank you for the valuable info. No reason not to buy the strenghtening bars then 👌👍
Looks like sturdy combination. The tube rigs look more sleek than the profile rigs. And as long as they can get them sturdy… thanks for the presentation.
Yes indeed. A lot of people can't understand why people would buy these types of rigs but some of them just look so nice. I bought a second hand coffeeracer btw... thats even taking it a step further 😎
A review with the white glove treatment..👍👍
Gets cold in the garage 🤭
The only reason the r9 felt slightly more powerful was the diameter of the wheel which plays more effect into the feeling then weight does. People always confuse this. Size matters more 😉
And that is why I would love a slightly smaller trucking wheel from MOZA... i don't need to compensate for anything 😏
Haha great response tbh lol@@SimulatedDrivingResource
I can confirm as well that the G29 is very weak now. It's what finally pushed me to the G Pro. I honestly didn't know about the Trueforce problem. I already have a bass shaker under the steering wheel mounting place to essentially emulate the same thing. I guess I'll continue to use it once I hook my G Pro up until they update it again.
Can the T818 be mounted?
Absolutely no idea. On the version I had that dated before the T818 with it's non-standard out of the box bolt pattern, I would say no, you may need to drill some holes. But perhaps NLR updated it's newer versions of the GTT with new holes for it.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Thanks for the reply, I don't know, I commented on their video presentation of the station but they didn't reply to me about it, and, at least on YT I can't find anyone who has this combo
You could try mailing support@nextlevelracing.com perhaps. Its indeed not a very frequent combination
@SimulatedDrivingResource Yes, thank you for the advice 😉
The logitech g pro body is too damn big & ugly. Come on Logitech !
It is a big unit. I think we can all agree on that 🙄
Great Review Im Using The T128 I Will Say Swap Those Small Ass Pedals Out For Something Bigger an Better Than Wrap The Wheel An Youll Be Fine Using To T128... Ill Be Upgrading To The T248 Soon......
Absolutely. When you replace the pedals it is already a big step up.
@SimulatedDrivingResource Absolutely T128 Is A Solid Wheel For What It Is.....
MOZA sux. The brake, clutch or gas pedals keep getting stuck at 100% and have to be recalibrate, even during a race.
Great video 👍I was recently thinking about getting the Gpro for gt7 and was wondering if Polyphony have now fixed the true force 🤔
Hey, I am also a freak in that "road imperfections" detail and feel haha. What would you say is the best wheels you tried that have that? Anything between 5-12nm.
The asbolute cleanest and most impressive for road details and imperfections that I have tested so far would be a Simagic Alpha mini.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource This is a brand I have heard of but never really considered. I love the compact factor the cammus brings more than I hope to care for but I would consider it, thank you so much!
The Cammus won't let you down either. C12 is still the steering wheel that I use the most. Bang/buck it is better than Simagic or any other out there.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Really, very interesting. If I look at $660 for a cammus wheel, simple pedals and a clamp vs $1000+ for the same with Simagic (or a little bit less with Moza), It is quite a difference. I had a massive aluminum rig with Thrustmaster eco system which is quite complete which I passed on to my cousin. Now that I am at a place with not so much room, the compactness with the c12 is quite nice, plus the savings. Don't get me wrong, I will spend that $400 (without taxes) extra if I could realize how much good the Simagic is with its feel, quite a shame I can't understand the feeling of various DD wheels without spending all that. I went to the Ring twice in the last two years, rented a bunch of cars and I realized I only really need a good wheel. The pedals, meh. Also gears, it is not the same as in real life and I drive a manual daily for 15 years now, so if a wheel will communicate to me the bumps, curbs and surface like in real life, it is the only thing I need
Thanks for this gesture and for all the priceless content you provide
Quiero comprarme este volante funciona con ps5?
Sí
Gotta reset it to 100 and it’s good again!
Good luck to everyone!! Hope to see a eurozone giveaway soon
Thanks for this. I was tempted, however, you revealed 2 massive dealbreakers: no lumbar support and the 3 pedal issue.
Glad to be of help
Hello, im still wondering if i made good decision, but i bought a new T128 for 125$. Next option for me was buy a used Logitech, usually there was without shifter. Did i make good decision? Also, i want to buy a new pedals (T3PA) and shifter (T8HS) next year for the T128. Sorry for my english btw
Don't second guess your decisions. All wheelbases have their proper characteristics. You, as many people out there that bought it, will have fun with it. I would however place the T3PM above the T3PA if budget allows. Th8s is very nice. I still use that one for my personal use.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Thank you for reply. I dont have the wheel yet (its in delivery,), but i think i will enjoy it. Can i ask, what is difference between T3PA and T3PM?
The T3pa uses potentiometers to read out the values versus hall sensors (magnets) on the t3pm. The latter needs little to no maintenance. But the biggest difference is the feeling of the brake. Much nicer feeling with the T3pm. You can make it a bit harder to push or lighter due to the spring. The pedal faces are also a bit larger (personal preference).
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Sorry for annoying, but im having a problem with the T128. When i turn it, it makes some cracking noise, feels like dry something inside.
It uses a combination of gears and a belt. Are these not the gears you are hearing?
