Recently decided to do some watch research, made a massive list, wanted a British watch, but wanted value for money and decent quality, to add to my Tag and Garmin. I picked this Rotary watch last week and just found your review. Totally agree, and I will buy more. Love it. Also originally from the North East!
I just bought this watch but am confused with how to use the worldtime function. The instruction says that the city ring should be rotate to align the city (e.g., Tokyo) I want to track with the current hour in that city (e.g., 14). However, the 24 hour inner ring in my watch does not move. Given the 24 hour ring does not move, the time at that city won't advance. How can the current time in that city be shown next time I check, say, one hour later? I will still show 14, even when it is already 15 in Tokyo. The watch looks more premium than I expected for the price, but I'm confused with how the function works. Any help would be appreciated.
You did well to get instructions. I think it just shows the times in relation to each other. So fr example if you rotate to your time using the 24 hour scale and the hour hand, it will show you the correct hour in the other city. Again on the 24 hour scale. So, 10 in London is 5 in new York. It really is a looker
@@perfectwrist23 Yes, I have figured that out too. I initially thought that it shows the time in the selected time zone in real time, and I also saw a review of this watch incorrectly saying that the 24 hour ring completes one revolution every 24 hours. But I guess expecting a feature like that is a bit unrealistic at this price point. I think this watch is still a bargain for the price, especially I bought it at a deep discount. Very happy about it.
I bought a rotary.. from a shop window In Torquay mmm lost interest in a week sometimes it just doesn’t work . Also to add the sell on is atrocious.. the value plummets

Hey! Welcome. Good choice
Thanks for showing it to us. They have some nice watches. I especially like their military inspired ones. 👍🏼
Yes, often overlooked
This is a very attractive watch, sir. Congrats to this one! 🕐⚙️🍸
Thanks! Isn't it
I own two rotarys and they are great watches…
They helped build Britain!
Awesome watch, reminds me of the Olympics Omega
It's got real appeal!

Same here, very good value what we paid. The world time rotation is sort of handy, just means you add or subtract in your head. Easily done
It would be nice if the seconds hand hit the markers rather than in the middle……… a complete no no for many
Yes for me also. Such a shame. However, for the price it can be overlooked
@@Not_afraid1 if only that simple

Mmmm.....let's see
I bought one, gave it back, dial too thin
That's interesting. I hadn't thought that. Lume maybe, slightly large perhaps, but not that
