Although I have seen many reviews of this watch, the atmosphere of your style was almost like storytelling in nature. Calm cadence, no screaming or weird objects in the background, no flailing hands, just a well-thought-out presentation that kept me interested. Do some more .And thank you for not using the ubiquitous wide-open- mouth in the thumbnail!!!
I have the black version and I absolutely love it! I love the Titanium and the back story behind it. Mine came with the red scuba tank which I thought was fun.
Thanks for that. The red tank must be quite rare, haven't seen it. I love this watch, it is excellent value, well thought out Nd with its own quirky back story. Some comments about a poor Bezel, but I haven't found that yet
It absolutely is a joy to wear. I always completely forget it’s on my wrist. The bezel is a different story though. The bezel on my watch is frustratingly difficult grip and turn. Otherwise it’s a a great watch with a classic look.
I have the black version and bought the bracelet separately. It’s one of the easiest watches in my collection to wear and very hard to beat in value for money from a major brand. I also appreciate the understated classic design
How / where did you get the bracelet as aliexpress nor Citizen sell them? Thanks if you reply. I have a Citizen 'Ray Mears ' BN0118 - maybe the bracelet fits?
It's nice and very comfortable. I had the black dial on the Ti bracelet. Bezel is difficult to turn/flimsy, and crown ienemini tiny. Try the Eterna Kontiki Diver 200m for just a little more, what a watch and the quality is very good. Cheers
@ I used to swim with the watch and with wet hands the bezel is difficult to rotate. Compared with my cheaper Fugu the crown and bezel are far better, however I miss the 9051 movement and lightness of titanium.
Got the barnacle last year... The design is great overall but unfortunately the bezel was extremely cheap, especially the rotation's click. Not a fatal flow, but I think that you can find a lot of alternatives in the market.
Very nice watch! Was between this one and seiko spb143 (62 mas) but ended up with the seiko, the finishing on the seiko is a lot better, the bezel action, the crown... etc but still a very good choice specially if you don't want to spend as much.
@@perfectwrist23 yess, managed to get it 25% off ($900 usd) ordered from japan a year ago, now i think they are valued similar but thats a great price for it
I think you're right. This diving watch has to be one of the best featured and finished. The very best divers use quartz movements and should this watch also include the Citizen Eco Drive then this makes the choice even easier.
Citizen have had a good couple of years There are plenty eco-drive Divers available, but sadly not many this style it seems. I love eco-drive, but also these 9nseries movements. I find them accurate, high beat and great value
Love that Fujitsubo (there are actually people who call them "barnacle"?) and i‘m looking forward to buy one next year. Citizen‘s Divers a way more affordable than Seiko and in my opinion way better in their price range.
I bought one for a good price on a whim and got immediate buyers remorse. Why did I buy this watch that duplicates my blue dial Mido Ocean Star? Then I received it and fell in love and sold my Mido lol. I also have a Seiko sbdc101 and there are some similarities there too.
I have this exact watch. Plus aside the bezel can hardly turned now after wearing for a year or so, I don't know how to remove the bezel and regrease that. Since then it's been in the watch box, unloved😮💨
There's only one issue with it...the bezel on this watch doesn't stay where you've set it...easy to dislodge. So if you're actually using it for diving, better remember when and where you set it. Otherwise, nothing else to complain about, and much to commend it (good size, lightweight and comfy titanium, sapphire crystal etc).
@seabiscuit726142 That's wonderful. For me, I notice that this issue with a slippy bezel seems to afflict Citizen's titanium dive watches: I own a titanium Ecodrive dive watch with the same issue. This problem doesn't exist with Citizen's steel dive watches that I also own. 🤔🤷♂️
I own the Citizens NY0129 in stainless steel diver on stock bracelet. This is a nice watch but I can’t stand titanium. If this was stainless steel like my NY0129 it would be perfect 👍🏻
Hey @perfectwrist23, I stuck a magnet to my Omega Seamaster Chronometer, and it kept running. I did the same with my G-Shock MTG-B3000, and it stopped immediately. Took the magnet off, and it's working fine now.

What a lovely comment. Thanks for watching!

Really enjoyed this video. Very impressive thinness. Add the titanium and the adjustable clasp... This watch must be just a joy to wear.
Thanks for that. It is and doesn't leave you wanting

That watch is very tempting. As good as it gets really.
Yes. It doesn't disappoint

Interesting you should mention eterna. Much under rated. I'm drawn to edox too
@@perfectwrist23 Dave did a nice review: m.th-cam.com/video/C7Db-fJmQ7M/w-d-xo.html
Can only agree. Own the watch as well and I am done atm with dive watches. The citizen and my two other divers are enough for me.
Yep.....that's all you need
Very very cool I wouldn't call it a dull blue but a rich deep blue perfect for a Diver
Yes, better put thanks
I had the black dial with rubber strap watch. For me it has two cons: the crown is to small and the bezel is very slippery.
Interesting. I haven't found the crown to be an issue. As a desk diver the Bezel seems fine, but as a tool diver, possibly too slippy
@ I used to swim with the watch and with wet hands the bezel is difficult to rotate. Compared with my cheaper Fugu the crown and bezel are far better, however I miss the 9051 movement and lightness of titanium.
Fine vid. Thanks!
And thank you

Thanks for watching.. A few have mentioned the Bezel but it's down the list for me
Very nice watch! Was between this one and seiko spb143 (62 mas) but ended up with the seiko, the finishing on the seiko is a lot better, the bezel action, the crown... etc but still a very good choice specially if you don't want to spend as much.
The spb143 is great value now they've been out a few years. Similar in style. Be interesting to do a side by side

There seems to be issues with the Bezel. A few have mentioned it. I'll see how it goes

The Bezel seems to be an issue for many. In the real world, maybe the ideal all round desk diver then
My bezel is rock solid.

I really liked the design of this watch what I don't like is how the bezel material feels thin flimsy and chintzy so I passed
Lots of complaints about the Bezel. I've found it ok
Japans best!
I think you may be right. Citizen rarely put a foot wrong
Is it truly anti-magnetic up to 16,000 gauss? Not sure about that
its on the case back - could it be titanium?
@perfectwrist23 not sure get a magnet and put it on the Watch Case back and see if it's still running that is the real test
Not 16,000 gauss but 16000 A/m which is about 200 gauss.
@mulkosilma oh ok
The endlinks are a shame
Integration?
With this endlings the lug to lug distance needs to be added up.
Meaning it wears damn large.

Thanks for watching. My only titanium so somewhat a novelty
I can't agree more. Titanium looks so dull. It's a pity because the watch is beautiful!
@@cougarbatterie 💯👍🏻
Certina PH500 is my choice over the citizen.
Love Certina Divers. Never had one so maybe come across one and compare soon
Please put a magnet against it I just don't believe you
Ha...I just went off the case back. Can't quite believe it myself

Crown not 4? Boring
I have plenty Seiko with 4 crown. It's fine
