Appreciate the detailed n straightforward no fluff bs video lol, earned a sub brohams keep up the good work. My '11 sti dd 124k has been relatively solid so far aside from a couple worn leaky oil hoses and the pos steering rack 🤦 😂. Will pick up one of these honestly been meaning to for several years now but that's my own lazy ass fault lol.
This install was SUPER uncomfortable but definitely worth it. I may have had some back pain for a couple days after this and we had to do it all twice! Thanks for the support!!
My 08 wrx firewall is flexing when i step on the clutch. I wonder if this is better than getting the clutch brace that bolts to the dog bone in engine bay?
Both are good options depending on where you want the reinforcement. This bracket reinforces the pedal assembly at the firewall where the welds tend to tear out of the firewall. The clutch brace that bolts tot he dogbone reinforces the master cylinder and the far end of the pedal assembly tube/mount around the master cylinder point.
I run both, doing both will save your pedal box and firewall. The ITS keeps your pedal box assembly from flexing and cracking the tube the clutch pedal bar goes through, and improved pedal feel. And clutch master cylinder brace keeps the wall from flexing more then it has too.
Thanks for the video. Made it so much easier!

I would definitely take any info Rusty has to say on the matter, he's the creator of this bracket!
