  • Eyestrain happens when your eyes get tired from overuse or intense use. This can lead to an ocular headache. Super bright artificial lights, computer screens, long stretches of night driving, etc. can lead to painful eyes.
Some of the symptoms you may have with eye strain include:
    Sore and fatigued eyes
    Burning or itchy eyes
    Dry or even watery eyes
Visual changes including blurriness or double vision
Headache especially around the eyes and temples
Soreness in the upper neck and trapezius muscle
    Sensitivity to light
    Difficulty concentrating
    Heavy eyelids
We will hope to affect your ciliary muscle which is an intrinsic muscle of your eye that helps your lens accommodation to view near and far distances. We will be massaging and exercising your extraocular muscles which are responsible for eyeball rotation. These include your superior and inferior oblique muscles as well as your lateral, medial, superior and inferior rectus muscles.
When you keep our eyes focused on an object like a digital screen at only one distance, your eye musculature can spasm, weaken and fall into patterns that decrease your eye's ability to do into the ranges of motion that are not frequently being used. I hope to challenge your eyes with this video. So, you may feel them working and getting temporarily sore. If this lasts more than an hour after doing the video, go easier or slower and gradually increase in intensity.

I would always get bad headaches around the trochlea, and massaging this point for about 1-2 mins got rid of all of the pain there, all of the other videos I watched seemed to overlook that area so thank you for bringing it to light.

My joy to shed light on that area. Could be a trochlear headache.

I found this video since starting your sinus lymphatic drainage videos. I have wanted to try eye exercises since glasses were recommended for me and I understood the underlying approach to using glasses actually reduced the capability in one of the 2 eyes. At 71 I am using readers strength 2.75. I have been diagnosed with Fuchs Dystrophy and hope these exercises prevent any further deterioration.

You inspired me to visit my local chiropractor a few weeks ago and he discovered that my migraines are being caused by persistent eye strain due to a misalignment in my neck. I am still undergoing treatment but have already seen huge improvements and I am really hopeful for a pain free future 🥰 My homework is to work on

(non-stop) dull pain on my left eye, eyebrow, left side of the head. I tried everything and went to a bunch of doctors. do you know what it could be by any chance?

      @dradamfields  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Ana, I wish I could tell you that with such little info. It would have to be by a revelation from the Almighty ; )
I hope you have seen a good chiropractor and a therapist who is familiar with trigger point therapy to rule those out. Also, look into a chiropractor that does cranial work. I do endonasal cranial adjusting and manual cranial adjusting.
If you see a chiro and you are still stuck, go to my website and book a telehealth appointment. We can play detective together and get you to the next level. There are a lot of possibilities.
