      G'day Maddo! Yeah thought you might have frequented a few of these places on your travels mate! Bit of hammock time and some cold cans - just need a boom box at full blast in the distance with Khmer techno pumping to complete the experience!
      Hope you are going ok mate with all that is happening. Catch you soon 👍

    Another quality video... Cheers mate!
    Noticing the Prius was the icing on the... chicken rice.

      Cheers Kristian!! Haha love it! That Prius was something else wasn't it! Plenty of 'tastefully' modified Priui getting about Siem Reap...each one worse than the next!

    Brings back memories - done it several times and yes, you need to be liberal on the cans of piss - otherwise it's too dangerous. We often play cards as well

      G'day Steve! Ha i wonder how many cards ended up in the Baray as they fall on the deck and slip through those gaping cracks!

    nice and comfy ALL TOGETHER....holy moly.....any cold beers "in da hood" ?? Thanks, the vlog was very useful. Tell me to stay away there ... with my 100KG I'd fall through

      G'day Wouter! Haha yeah there were a couple of cold ones that day! That environment was definitely built with small frame khmer people in mind - felt pretty squishy down there - and agree i'd worry about some of those planks of wood as a built westerner! There are so many picnic spots like this all over the countryside - probably some with safer floors!
      Cheers mate!

    Pretty cool, but jesus that deck looks sketchy!

    • @MarcsMildlyInteresting
      @MarcsMildlyInteresting  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep was a bit sketchy in parts. Would love to see Dim there - That deck would terrify him but at the same time allow plenty of space for crumbs to fall straight through the floor!

    Been there done that , highly dangerous for Australians in excess of 100 kg , Peter Sukhothai

      G'day Peter - Ah have you made a shift to Thailand mate?
      Agree - it's only a matter of time before a big unit takes the plunge due to some sketchy planks. Bit of danger always adds to the charm of these places though! Cheers!
