He said if you do that, it is like you are fasting and then you don't need to do fasting. Another person said sort of the same thing, but about having at least 12 hours between meals. Neither explained how it would be like fasting, though.

I have found my best combo to be as follows : - Breakfast 8 am, Lunch 1 pm, Green Tea and fruit or healthy snacks 5 pm, Dinner 8 pm. The in between times is for total fast except drinking 2 litres of water per 24 hours.! 🙏
