Also lips pink is a good thing blue not good. I had a three month old work rsv. What is more scary is when they cough and they can't stop coughing out if they can't catch their breath. It is very evident in their ribs they flare when they can't breathe. He's a big strong lad now.

  • @theanachronist9125

Big thanks for this. I have a 13 month old who still does exactly this, he's done it since he was born and our docs have always dismissed it without even listening to the recordings we've taken. It's comforting to know that this is the likely scenario.
Taking him to the ER next time he has an episode of it though.

I don't like the "swaddle" thing. That wasn't done when I had my kids, and I don't see how that could be comfortable. The babies are wrapped tight and can't move, and for how long? I wouldn't want that done to me, having to stay in one position, not able to move. I know a lot of people don't agree, but I think it's mean.

Because there is nothing wrong to help. That's the whole premise of this video. There is nothing to worry about. There is nothing to do. Let the child grow out of a trachea that is a little floppy. Took the oxygen. Normal. Interacted with the baby. Normal. Verified he can latch. Normal. Educated parents that this is all pretty common in babies. That's his job. Nor to treat something there is no treatment for because it's not a problem.
