5 minutes ready flatbread! Quick and Easy Flatbread made with Batter! No Kneading! No Oven! No hand touching during making.
Recipe: 4-5 flatbread
150g. All purpose flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
240ml. Water (room temperature)
1 1/2 tsp(8g) Oil
Tip:
Make sure to keep pressing the edges of the bread with spatulla, so it can puff up.
Add water in 2-3 times to prevent lumps in the batter.
Heat on medium low heat, close to medium heat, if you want to make big bubbles later turn the heat to medium heat.
Cover with a towel when done, the Flatbread can be used as a pita bread for sandwich.

I have to try this recipe. Very similar to a roti without the kneading, dividing the dough, the wait, the rolling… you get the picture. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you these are absolutely amazing. I added a little bit of chopped chives and a touch of garlic. I can’t get enough of these and look forward to trying them with other ingredients.

Just made those and they turned out a lot better than expected! I'll need to work a bit on my technique, since they came out a bit moister than I'd like, but for "let's just mix it an put it in a pan", I'm quite amazed. Also, perfect puffage on all five :D
mine wont puff up maybe it needs a little more water
What do you think can guarantee the puff? I want to be like yours, always puffed...

@@cparamon For me I think it was actually going around the flat bread, pressing down the sides, even if it did not look like steam was escaping that way.
Normally (i.e. with all the recipes I tried so far), my puff rate is not that amazing :)
150 grams = 2/3 cup flour
240 ml water = 1 cup

I suppose you aĺl know that baking powder should never be directly close to salt.just in case you should add baking polder to this ré ipe.GOOD LUCK.

Your's successfully puffed up ?
It all depends on the type of flour used. Best result will be 50% all-purpose flour, 25% bread flour & 25% wholemeal flour. And importantly, the pan must be slightly hot before adding the bread dough.
It said to use all purpose flour in the video. Thanks for the tip.

This recipe almost the same as in my hometown..we called it "lempiang" 🥰..made from batter ingredients like yours.. we eat with spicy anchovies "sambal"... However your recipe is much more amazing!! never tried the technique like yours that can turn batter to bread. Will try it soon... I am your new fan now 😊

I tried this and my recipe was gummy, and mostly didn't puff up. I tried adding less water, more water, less flour and more, higher and lower heats. I ended up pretty much spreading them thin and making really crispy wraps. Any ideas on what part went wrong?
May I ask what type of flour did you use? Too much water will become to spreading, less water the batter will be too thick. The tips are consistently pressing the edge of the bread and adjust the heat slightly higher after you first flip the batter and try add a little more oil in the beginning but not too much. After you first flip the batter, let it cook for 10 seconds and start pressing the edge.

You see the cut in the video when it puffs? Is a fake video. There is no shortcut for pita bread. He is making pankakes

Gonna give this a try but with a bit of change up for flavor. Going to add herbed cream cheese dip that was previously frozen. When thawed it becomes quite liquidy. Gonna top it off with a bit of chicken. Haha wish me luck 😂

Rub it with a piece of garlic then spread some
Tomato sauce and put some shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Put it in the microwave for like 2 minutes for pizza.

I tried the recipe. It did not puff up. Before I tried the recipe, I predicted the problem. However, I can see if somebody has made this too many times she or he can make it work like in the video. I'm a good cook. I make pocket bread my own way. I'm just looking for a faster way. Will keep trying.
Mine didn't puff at all. I've watched the vid several times and I believe I've followed it correctly. I'm NOT a very good cook but I'd sure like to be able to make these. Sure seems simple enough, guess I'll try again.
@@lfeco Try a different recipe. I think this recipe will take too many practices before it works.
Rest the batter for a few minutes, start in a medium hot pan, when the edges curl a bit, transfer to a hotter pan and push down the edges with a spatula while turning. Pressing the edges helps keep the moisture that is turning to steam inside the disk thereby allowing the inside to throughly cook.
Do not add oil, salt, and sugar. Only flour and water. Keep medium heat initially then increase to high. If you want paratha, add oil to the mixture, when it's cooked add oil or ghee to the pan to sear fry.
Yep, mine didn’t puff either , was very gummy in the inside . It looked done , smelled done just didn’t puff .im a cook also, and looking for a simpler way . But this was just not working for me

Great recipe, takes a while for it to get to the stage of puffing up and only after pushing on it a lot! Dont rush the cooking part thinking its done.

@@UmmuFarras they puff really well, make sure to use low heat. You don’t want the water to flash to steam and break the surface. They take a long time to cook, be prepared for that.

It's just a pancake (Crepes) minus the egg and use water. Made these quite frequently - more out of experimental curiosity and it's not bread it remains very crep (pancake) does not develop the texture of say flat bread. No way do they tear like shown in this video - it has a very springy pancake texture.
