This looks great and seems very simple. I am a senior, living by myself and no longer have a stove with an oven so I look for something that I can fry on my hot plate that is not too involved and complicated. I don’t do a lot of cooking anymore. I live in the state of Tennessee, USA.
I bought a pizza cooker with a top hot plate & a bottom hot plate. It's pretty much replaced my oven. I can cook a smaller frozen pizza or reheat leftover pizza better than new. But mostly I cook fish sticks, fish fillets, cheese sticks, quesadillas with previously cut up frozen chicken-artichokes & cheese, or basic beans n cheese, grilled cheese, chicken strips, pot pies and so many different things. Just don't cook cookies. I made cookies & they were so hard it was like rock cakes. Things just cook faster due to the double heat source. I rarely ever use my actual oven anymore. Here's a link to one if you want to check it out. Also Walmart has a $30 air fryer that's at least ok. I think it's more than ok but I've only cooked 2 things in it because I'd gotten it for a friend. A good crockpot can also cook things like meatloaf. But I took mine over to my friends house to use for cooking the absolute best turkey breast & gravy recipe ever. That was probably two years ago. Because I generally only cook bigger things at his place & he's using it to cook chicken for his elderly dog. Also for the turkey. Get 2 cans of cream of chicken, butterball boneless turkey breast, 1 gravy packet & the gravy packet that came with the turkey & cook it in the crockpot until it's falling apart & you can no longer resist eating it. If you guys want a healthy flat bread there's lentil flatbread recipes online. It's basically just water & ground red lentils. I can't say it's good yet though because I haven't had a chance to try making it. But I did get 2 bags of lentils to try it with at a foodbank. I'm really hoping it's easy, quick to make & most of all tastes good.
You made a hot water pastry. I would add apple and cinnamoned or forest fruits for a sweet version. Cheese and caramelised onion or minced beef, chicken or absolutely anything could be put in this. I agree with the suggestion of folding the dough over and crimping the edges.
@@maryshelley4477 In the UK we have Bramley cooking apples so if using them I would slice them up thinly and add them uncooked. Bramleys melt down a bit like apple sauce when cooked. You can use eating apples and cook them 1first then when they are cooled add to the pastry pocket. Bramley applies are great to make apple and raspberry/blackberry jam.

I think I’m definitely going to do this with cream cheese and cherry filling. I would even go as far as putting some mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and sauce inside one. Lil pizza bites would be a hit with the kids.

I have a suggestion : instead of using two rounds for each pastry, use one and fold the dough in half over the filling. Crimp the edges with a fork or fold them up to seal. That way you won't have to cut each pastry only to waste the dough you cut off. Or, did you re - roll the cut off dough to make more ? These look scrumptious, though. TYSM for sharing this video with us.
Hmmm. Edges crimped. I would like goat feta / spinach, but anything's possible. Maybe freeze and pop into boiling water like perogies? Dinner in minutes. Easy clean up. I'm not a big fan of frying. But I love the idea of this recipe. Thanks, chef!

Готовят его на сметане, когда она закипит, в сметану размешивая маленькой мутовочкой добавляют муку и размешивая, чтобы не было камочков. И получается как каша в масле метана превратилась в масло. Соль по вкусу. У меня мама часто готовила, она саламат любила и мне нравилось, хотя мы русские, жили рядом с бурятами. Сытно и вкусно. Но сметана натуральная должна быть.

Leí en un comentario aquí que quedan como chips, tu masa queda más suave y gordita, te lo digo para que no se te vaya a salir tu relleno que es más abundante. Ya sabes, como son la mezclas mexicanas para usar de relleno, es decir, lo que podríamos poner tambien en una arepa de las de Sur America. La masa tiene que tener cuerpo para aguantar ese tipo de relleno. Yo tengo problemas con el gluten y no uso harina de trigo pero veo que quedan crujientes y finitas, no creo que aguanten las típicas mezclas de relleno de las Américas. Aunque estén deliciosas. Son más bien como voladitos con algo dentro. Si quedan como chips será porque se derrite el queso y se le pega a la harina. Será por eso que lo dicen. Te lo comento por si acaso. Yo más bien me preparo arepitas rellenas o si no tortillas para no comer pan. Que por cierto me ha venido muy bien. Suerte!

I'm watching from South Africa. I make similar ones but use onion and parsley with melted butter, salt and dash pepper. The same concept of boiling water and flour then add eggs, bake in hot oven to make cream puffs. Fill with whipped cream or custard. 😊

Вы уверены что вкусно ? Я лично уверен что способ или чебуреков или пирожков вкуснее . Полностью Заварное тесто и так дерьмо , а если его обжарить , то дерьмом быть не перестаёт. Обычно заварное делают частично , но и в этом случае вкус хуже.
Это - ужасный рецепт. По последним исследованиям, не столько важен Омега, сколько соотношение омега 3 к омега 6. То есть, если вы едите много растительного масла, вы должны съесть столько рыбы, чтобы из нее не вылезать. А тут все пропитано маслом, неизвестно каким..

I'm always amazed how each little area of each country somehow ends up having similar foods. All my people came from Italy and this is not too far away from ravioli.One of my favorites that, as a child on Christmas, to press down on the edges with a fork to seal in all the fillings

Проще испечь русские блины на кефире или молоке , можно развести водой. -на 1литр , 3 ст.ложки сахара , 1/2 ч.л. соли , 10 полных ст,ложек муки , 1/2ст, ложки соды, 2 ст, ложки растительного масла . Горячую сковороду смазать растит.маслом и печь на среднем огне , наливая половником . В такие блины можно заворачивать любую начинку .
Не проще духовку купить ???? 🤣😂🤣

Я из Сибири, живём рядом с бурятами, так у них есть такое блюдо называется саламат. Это такая вкуснятина, очень сытное. Готовят его на сметане, когда она закипит, в сметану размешивая маленькой мутовочкой добавляют муку и размешивая, чтобы не было камочков. И получается как каша в масле метана превратилась в масло. Соль по вкусу. У меня мама часто готовила, она саламат любила и мне нравилось, хотя мы русские, жили рядом с бурятами. Сытно и вкусно. Но сметана натуральная должна быть.

Leí en un comentario aquí que quedan como chips, tu masa queda más suave y gordita, te lo digo para que no se te vaya a salir tu relleno que es más abundante. Ya sabes, como son la mezclas mexicanas para usar de relleno, es decir, lo que podríamos poner tambien en una arepa de las de Sur America. La masa tiene que tener cuerpo para aguantar ese tipo de relleno. Yo tengo problemas con el gluten y no uso harina de trigo pero veo que quedan crujientes y finitas, no creo que aguanten las típicas mezclas de relleno de las Américas. Aunque estén deliciosas. Son más bien como voladitos con algo dentro. Si quedan como chips será porque se derrite el queso y se le pega a la harina. Será por eso que lo dicen. Te lo comento por si acaso. Yo más bien me preparo arepitas rellenas o si no tortillas para no comer pan. Que por cierto me ha venido muy bien. Suerte!

I am from Gig Harbor Washington and this is going to change my life. The problem with making a dough is the mess you get everywhere due to the flower, I was thinking of making a flour box at some point but THIS THIS is great!! Why more people should share stuff like this keep up the great videos.

I'm watching from South Africa. I make similar ones but use onion and parsley with melted butter, salt and dash pepper.
The same concept of boiling water and flour then add eggs, bake in hot oven to make cream puffs. Fill with whipped cream or custard. 😊

Me too, I never deep fry anything. These deep fried stuff are horror: they clog arteries, induce diabetes and obesity.
you could boil eat like pasta these are raviolis :) i use air fryer now but on occasion deep fry and if i do i use peanut oil only the best :)

Вы уверены что вкусно ? Я лично уверен что способ или чебуреков или пирожков вкуснее . Полностью Заварное тесто и так дерьмо , а если его обжарить , то дерьмом быть не перестаёт. Обычно заварное делают частично , но и в этом случае вкус хуже.

Это - ужасный рецепт. По последним исследованиям, не столько важен Омега, сколько соотношение омега 3 к омега 6. То есть, если вы едите много растительного масла, вы должны съесть столько рыбы, чтобы из нее не вылезать. А тут все пропитано маслом, неизвестно каким..
