I've been trying for 3 hours to figure out how to make a rope and finally caved in. This was so easy. I've been trying so hard with the screw modifier but didn't have the initial shape correct.
When I started for the first time, I couldn’t understand for a long time why my Mirror modifier wasn’t working correctly, until I noticed the orange point
To the point tutorial. no time wasted. Thanks!
WOW - this is amazing! Thank you so much!
THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH FOR THE EFFICIENT BREVITY!!!
you deserve more subs. just subscribed
You'll grow fast, keep up!
I appreciate it
Legend!
ya ~i can do it!
how do u align the vertices like that? I am finding that I cannot line them up, which makes it very wonky when I try to merge them and can't complete the tutorial
If the object disappears, try applying scale to both objects. Worked for me after doing that
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Gotta apply all scale location and rotation to fix the curve modifier.
i don't know why but i can't merge the circles when pressing M and pressing At center. nothing happens. somebody know what im doing wrong?
Control J to merge the 3 circles first. Then only go into Edit mode to press M to merge
@@francishew3672 tysm, was experiencing the same issue XD
@@francishew3672 That worked! Thank you kindly!
@@francishew3672 Thank you so much it worked.
@@francishew3672 Thank you so much!
Which modifier did you add ?
how to I strech out the bezier curve, I keep dragging it but it doesn't work
I use 'E' to create a new vertex and 'G' to move the new vertex around.
@@v.rprasad5377 thank you :)
is there a way i can do this but instead of a rope make it like a cable?
Check my page, I have a video on how to make cables
uh...wow
huh...was expecting modeling a rope to be a lot harder than this...
Cool but holy shit I have to watch this on .25 speed to have any idea on how to follow.
how to join them together??
select em with shift+click, then when you selected em all press CTRL+j
no tengo prisa., prefiero entenderrrr!!!!
i cannot join vertices
Make sure you joined all the circles in one object
@@boisdeleau1389thanks
@@boisdeleau1389 how can i join them all in one object
Sir, the rope is outside the bezier
same for me did u find a solution ?
@@marcocorasaniti you can move the rope, just select it and the movement thing will be back where the ropes origin was (wherever it is before you apply the curve), but moving will be relative to the Bezier curve, so if it's off to the left you just move the rope to the right at it's origin
It just looks like a screw when I apply Screw, not a rope at all. What's up with that?
how to fill the centre
