Applying logos is really easy but this tutorial also assumes that you have a basic understanding of Substance Painter and you've already prepared your object for texturing. ENJOY!

Gracias, very helpful!!
Thank you so much bro🤜🤛 awesome Tutorial!!!
Speaking of limitations, you can readjust everything after you've stamped it in "paint" mode by adding filter, usually the "Levels" filter will do. You can then make the filter target your roughness, height or whatever you prefer.
Thanks for the video T!
Awesome, thank you for the tips!
Give u a sub and a like after 5 years, great job the legacy
Dude this was a huge help.
Thnks again Travis!!!

very nice man, thanks for share :)
Thank you Michael!
I have a problem and whenever I try to use an Alpha, Or using any default alpha, The quality is very poor something like 32x32
while the overall texture is baked in 2K with Antialiasing = Subsampling 8x8
What is the solution please?
Thanks.
5:28 how come your logo showing on mouse move and i cant see it until i press it ?
Hey Travis. Question - you mention preparing your object in the start of the video. Maybe you have some reference videos showing how to do that :) ?
tnxxxx :))
I want a tutorial on that fantastic looking jacket!
What is the benefit of adding logos in Substance painter vs. marvelous designer?
Thank you bro !
No problem Eric :)
Thanks for saving me :D
No problem!
How to export substances painter textures in 3ds max Arnold render
Can't seem to figure out when i stamp the logo, it appears kind of faded .. do you know why?
You don't need the alpha when you put the texture into the base colour slot. Just drag the brush hardness to max and it'll make the mask automatically.
Awesome, didn't know this, thank you for the tip!
Travis Davids there is a small issue if you want to use the roughness setting. You'll need to use a mask with it in that case. But if it's just the colour channel it shouldn't matter.
thanks man this video is really helpful .
No problem :)
Hi one more question which software is best for game maya or max
Very difficult question to answer, both can get the job done. Some studios require Maya over Max. I honestly use whatever gets the job done for me. Both are excellent programs.
so you mean that we need to get knowledge of both software.
Really liked your tutorial! I just have a problem. I've been trying to stamp a logo, but when i do it in a smaller scale, which is what I need, it loses all definition. Is there a way to preserve definition while imprinting a small stamp?
I think you’d have to increase the document resolution. Im new to substance so there could be other ways.
whats your programm of choice for UV unwrapping your garments?
Unfold 3D
As Andrew Scott mentioned below; when I apply a stamp it is also stamping the circle from the tool with the same height or roughness information. How do I make sure that the brush doesn't stamp the logos transparency?
After reviewing some of my old comments, I wanted to reply to this by answering myself so others can see it if necessary. The problem I was experiencing was caused by not properly using an Alpha image for transparency. It was a simple fix that was clearly shown in this video and I don't remember why I even had problems with it. People just need to remember that you'll be using two images to stamp your logo, one is your colored logo, and the second is a black and white alpha used to cut out the logo, both are used when stamping unless you only need a single color like when using the Nike logo in this video; if that is the case, then you only need the alpha map.
Back again... ;) ... LIFE SAVER ... or like Bay Watch ...
This program is insane
you safe my life thank you
My pleasure :)
How did you import the jacket from Marvelous Designer?
probably exported it out as fbx then retoppo to make low poly in max or maya and uv unwrapped it and then exported the low as fbx - after that imported low fbx to work on in sp and baked the detail from original high from md
Awesome tuto. Better than Substance Academy keep up with the excellent work Travis
thank you, please one tutorial how did you make the jacket and to import in Substance Painter
I am working on an advanced MD tutorial, no set time for release right now.
2nd on that jacket tutorial that would be so helpful
YOU ARE A MACHINE BRE
The circle around my logo is imprinting onto my module aswell, does anyone know how to fix this?
I understand that you comment is over a year old, but did you ever figure this one out?
В новых версиях программы это не работает.
but i just out that this is not too good for logo that is rectangular in shape, the one I am making got squish a bit, too square-ish if you know what I mean...
solved. just make sure the whole image is square even though the logo itself is rectangular...
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!save me!!
1080p or 1440p plz cant see detail menu text
