I went to school with a German foreign exchange student (she was incredibly sweet lol) and one day in class the holocaust was brought up. She politely asked if she could speak about it, and said to the whole class that most of, if not *all* of Germany is incredibly embarrassed and ashamed of what happened. She even started bawling while explaining that she and other Germans find their history extremely disgusting. The fact that there are Germans that feel so strongly about it, and then there’s this American, trans Jewish kid _cosplaying as Hitler himself_ is the weirdest reality we could possibly ever live in and I’m ready to leave this simulation.
it honestly baffles me a lot of people still think the entirety of Germany holds these beliefs. Like.... No. The vast majority of them are super disgusted by what happened, just like the vast majority of Americans are. Just like how back then there were a lot of German folk who didn't agree with these views but couldn't openly express these views without consequences
We got a lot of German students in my school and one girl in my ninth grade class made an entire presentation and got permission from our teacher to present it during history class. It was a presentation on how nobody in Germany is proud of this part of their history and to stop calling her a nazi and doing nazi salutes to her and the other German kids.

I remember when I was 16 my school took us to DC to the Holocaust museum. It was the most haunting and depressing thing I’ve ever witnessed. I met a survivor, she was about 15 when the war started. She lost her mother, father, and sisters. She told us about starving so much they’d eat grass, she remembered being so thin and ill, that when the US soldiers came to free the Jewish people from the camp she told them to let her die. She described the horrors she faced in that camp, and how she laid outside waiting for death realizing she was too weak to even attempt an escape. She had been there a while and said she had nothing to live for, no hope of any kind of life past that camp. A young soldier carried her to their transport because she couldn’t, or maybe just refused, to try and move. They got her medical care and slowly she started to come back to life, the soldier who carried her out would periodically check on her. They would talk and he would convince her to eat little by little, broth and sometimes a small bite of bread, because after a year or so of starvation and subsisting on whatever she could find (which was barely enough to survive) she no longer had an appetite or will until she would speak with this young man. She said he was the only one who could get her to eat. She later married the man who saved her life, nursed her back to health, and she moved to the US with him leaving the only home she’d known because to her her home was her family. I remember her talking about her tattoo, the brand they gave her, the number she thought was her death sentence but kept for years as a reminder that she could face anything… until her son was about 6 and he asked his mommy when he could get his “number tattoo”. She said she broke down and started covering it with makeup until eventually tattoo removal became a thing, and she got them removed. My friend and I sobbed like tiny children listening to this woman, and you know what she did? She hugged and comforted us, because she was a person who vowed to never have her spirit broken again. She held our hands after we sobbed on her shoulder and told us not to cry, that it’s good we were there and she was able to tell her story, because without the stories people forget, and then atrocities are allowed to happen since people have short memories. I can not imagine, cannot fathom, what that woman would think seeing this spoiled disgusting child, cosplaying one of the most brutal vile humans to ever exist, taunting a fellow survivor of one of the worst human attractions ever committed for “clout”. Things don’t seem real in the abstract when you’re younger, so I wish everyone who has heard a story like mine would flood his page with the stories. Thank God those survivors are stronger than anyone could fathom, because this type of disgusting vile taunting would break a lesser person- it would break Felix if it happened to him. I’m sure my grandfather who helped free multiple internment camps, who was a decorated war hero in WW2, would preach patience and love and forgiveness. I’m sure the woman I met that day would say the same- because only people who have seen the horrors and brutality of man could forgive something like this, forgive someone like this who doesn’t deserve it and refuses to even actually apologize. Only people who have walked through actual hell and gained the patience of a god could forgive someone for doing this, but me personally am not one of those people, so I find it hard to have sympathy for his “anxiety and depression” excuse. I’ve had both as far back as I can remember and never role played a ruthless dictator nearly wiped out an entire race, culture, and history of millions of people.
Do you remember the name of the woman? I try to read as many survivors’ stories as I can, and this one sounds extremely similar to Hannelore Wolff / Laura Hillman. I realize that it was probably not her, but it’s good to remember names nonetheless. If anybody is curious to the story of the woman I mentioned, the book is called “I will plant you a lilac tree”. She is a Schindler’s list survivor.

My grandfather was in a Nazi P.O.W. camp from 1944 until its liberation in 1945. Guards would randomly shoot prisoners daily, and the fact that my grandfather was able to survive with his extremely obvious Polish last name in there is a miracle. He was incredibly traumatized by the entire experience. I remember never being to eat sandwiches at his house because he kept his bread in the fridge, a habit caused by him trading his high school ring for some moldy bread while imprisoned. He spent an entire year of his life in survival mode, effectively repressing his emotions in an attempt at self-preservation, and I'm not sure if he was ever truly able to come out of it. This is all to say that WWII was an incredibly traumatic and devasting experience that forever altered any and everyone that was involved or affected and Felix doing this charade is the pinnacle of disrespect to all the victims of it. I hope that he's eventually able to realize how absolutely fucking deplorable and disgusting this entire Hitler reincarnation bullshit is and gets the help, which will probably be psychiatric, and that he needs to stop doing this.

He kept his bread in the freezer for the rest of his life because he refused to ever eat another piece of moldy bread(one of the only foods they had in the camp) again and hated Hogan's Heros, but he found solace in his family and his love for baking. He passed about 10 years ago, but I just know he's up in Heaven bragging about his blueberry muffin recipe to all the brothers, by blood or not, that he lost in the conflict.

I‘m from Germany and we actually visited the camp in Auschwitz when we where in 9. grade and it was absolutely crazy in the worst possible way, the whole place looks and feels so unbelievably cold. I‘m still really grateful that our teacher took us there and we also spoke to one of the survivors back then, I believe he was already 90 -95 by then. I would say my class had a lot of troublemakers but everyone was quite and really listend when we where there for 4 days.

I was part of a facebook group that documented Felix and his whole downfall. I remember a friend of his had shared a screenshot of a conversation they had where Felix was threatening to harm himself if that friend didn't accept that he was Hitler. Or something like that. That's my other reason to dislike Felix. You don't use the threat of self harming to control others.

When I was 12 I made a post on Tumblr about how I didn’t like the _actions_ of a black character (i.e. forcibly kissing someone in extreme emotional distress). I like the character, just not how she was portrayed in that particular movie. A popular account reblogged it, accusing me of misogynoir, calling me disgusting, etc. Further reblogs were filled with pretty awful stuff, and I was getting DMs telling me to kms; a lot of really alarming things for a 12 year old with 5 followers to be the target of. I deleted the post on my blog and privately messaged the original responder begging her to help me. I sent her screenshot after screenshot of the harassment I was getting. She refused, told me I deserved the harassment. I deleted that account soon after. All because I said kissing someone who’s in the middle of an emotional breakdown is not a cool thing to do.

I think with Felix it's a good reminder that some people WON'T change because they don't see the need to do so. And in cases like that, it's best not to waste your energy, good will, and sanity on hateful cases like that. I'm Polish, and in my family there's a lot of tension when it comes to the topic of the Holocaust. I live here in America with my parents, but the rest of my family is in Poland and I can't imagine what it would be like to hear news of them hurt. I’m Israeli, my grandparents were born and raised in Israel and were children during the Holocaust, which ended in the loss of my grandfather’s sister at a very young age. I went to school with a German foreign exchange student (she was incredibly sweet lol) and one day in class the holocaust was brought up. She politely asked if she could speak about it, and said to the whole class that most of, if not *all* of Germany is incredibly embarrassed and ashamed of what happened. She even started bawling while explaining that she and other Germans find their history extremely disgusting.
The fact that there are Germans that feel so strongly about it, and then there’s this American, trans Jewish kid _cosplaying as Hitler himself_ is the weirdest reality we could possibly ever live in and I’m ready to leave this simulation.

it honestly baffles me a lot of people still think the entirety of Germany holds these beliefs. Like.... No. The vast majority of them are super disgusted by what happened, just like the vast majority of Americans are. Just like how back then there were a lot of German folk who didn't agree with these views but couldn't openly express these views without consequences
We got a lot of German students in my school and one girl in my ninth grade class made an entire presentation and got permission from our teacher to present it during history class. It was a presentation on how nobody in Germany is proud of this part of their history and to stop calling her a nazi and doing nazi salutes to her and the other German kids.
As someone with German ancestry I find him absolutely revolting. I've been seeing h1tl3r cosplayers so more often and it's absolutely disgusting.

I remember when I was 16 my school took us to DC to the Holocaust museum. It was the most haunting and depressing thing I’ve ever witnessed. I met a survivor, she was about 15 when the war started. She lost her mother, father, and sisters. She told us about starving so much they’d eat grass, she remembered being so thin and ill, that when the US soldiers came to free the Jewish people from the camp she told them to let her die. She described the horrors she faced in that camp, and how she laid outside waiting for death realizing she was too weak to even attempt an escape.
She had been there a while and said she had nothing to live for, no hope of any kind of life past that camp. A young soldier carried her to their transport because she couldn’t, or maybe just refused, to try and move. They got her medical care and slowly she started to come back to life, the soldier who carried her out would periodically check on her. They would talk and he would convince her to eat little by little, broth and sometimes a small bite of bread, because after a year or so of starvation and subsisting on whatever she could find (which was barely enough to survive) she no longer had an appetite or will until she would speak with this young man. She said he was the only one who could get her to eat. She later married the man who saved her life, nursed her back to health, and she moved to the US with him leaving the only home she’d known because to her her home was her family.
I remember her talking about her tattoo, the brand they gave her, the number she thought was her death sentence but kept for years as a reminder that she could face anything… until her son was about 6 and he asked his mommy when he could get his “number tattoo”.
She said she broke down and started covering it with makeup until eventually tattoo removal became a thing, and she got them removed.
My friend and I sobbed like tiny children listening to this woman, and you know what she did? She hugged and comforted us, because she was a person who vowed to never have her spirit broken again. She held our hands after we sobbed on her shoulder and told us not to cry, that it’s good we were there and she was able to tell her story, because without the stories people forget, and then atrocities are allowed to happen since people have short memories.
I can not imagine, cannot fathom, what that woman would think seeing this spoiled disgusting child, cosplaying one of the most brutal vile humans to ever exist, taunting a fellow survivor of one of the worst human attractions ever committed for “clout”. Things don’t seem real in the abstract when you’re younger, so I wish everyone who has heard a story like mine would flood his page with the stories.
Thank God those survivors are stronger than anyone could fathom, because this type of disgusting vile taunting would break a lesser person- it would break Felix if it happened to him.
I’m sure my grandfather who helped free multiple internment camps, who was a decorated war hero in WW2, would preach patience and love and forgiveness. I’m sure the woman I met that day would say the same- because only people who have seen the horrors and brutality of man could forgive something like this, forgive someone like this who doesn’t deserve it and refuses to even actually apologize. Only people who have walked through actual hell and gained the patience of a god could forgive someone for doing this, but me personally am not one of those people, so I find it hard to have sympathy for his “anxiety and depression” excuse. I’ve had both as far back as I can remember and never role played a ruthless dictator nearly wiped out an entire race, culture, and history of millions of people.

My grandfather was in a Nazi P.O.W. camp from 1944 until its liberation in 1945. Guards would randomly shoot prisoners daily, and the fact that my grandfather was able to survive with his extremely obvious Polish last name in there is a miracle. He was incredibly traumatized by the entire experience. I remember never being to eat sandwiches at his house because he kept his bread in the fridge, a habit caused by him trading his high school ring for some moldy bread while imprisoned. He spent an entire year of his life in survival mode, effectively repressing his emotions in an attempt at self-preservation, and I'm not sure if he was ever truly able to come out of it. This is all to say that WWII was an incredibly traumatic and devasting experience that forever altered any and everyone that was involved or affected and Felix doing this charade is the pinnacle of disrespect to all the victims of it. I hope that he's eventually able to realize how absolutely fucking deplorable and disgusting this entire Hitler reincarnation bullshit is and gets the help, which will probably be psychiatric, and that he needs to stop doing this.
I'm deeply sorry for your grandfather's experience, that time in history was an atrocity never to be repeated. I hope he gets the peace he deserves.

He kept his bread in the freezer for the rest of his life because he refused to ever eat another piece of moldy bread(one of the only foods they had in the camp) again and hated Hogan's Heros, but he found solace in his family and his love for baking. He passed about 10 years ago, but I just know he's up in Heaven bragging about his blueberry muffin recipe to all the brothers, by blood or not, that he lost in the conflict.

I‘m from Germany and we actually visited the camp in Auschwitz when we where in 9. grade and it was absolutely crazy in the worst possible way, the whole place looks and feels so unbelievably cold.
I‘m still really grateful that our teacher took us there and we also spoke to one of the survivors back then, I believe he was already 90 -95 by then.
I would say my class had a lot of troublemakers but everyone was quite and really listend when we where there for 4 days.
Reading your comment at first I wondered why you were grateful that your teacher respected the curriculum but 4 days? That really helps to get a lot of intake. We had like one day in Dachau but it still left me haunted. My teacher had other ways to rub in how horrific it all was but your teacher evidently did a great job too.

You should get one. Your for you page won't look like this. The algorithm is really good at showing you stuff that you want to engage with. Mine is all tiny houses and civil rights and queer stuff and light hearted funny stuff and tiny houses. I've never seen anything hateful. Yours probably would be completely different

It really is overstimulating and time just goes out the window.

Historically speaking, I'd say it should be more worried concerning anyone kinning the Prime Ministers from Victoria's reign, since while Churchill opposed decolonisation, he was also not in much of a position to do anything without Parliament doing the same, which just led to him sulking in the corner as they ran free.

I watched Schindler’s List in my history class and it reminded me of your video about this man. Seeing how awfully the Jews in concentration camps were treated made tears come to my eyes. This man is an awful person, I don’t care if Felix is Jewish or not, it doesn’t excuse his internet roleplay.

When I was 12 I made a post on Tumblr about how I didn’t like the _actions_ of a black character (i.e. forcibly kissing someone in extreme emotional distress). I like the character, just not how she was portrayed in that particular movie. A popular account reblogged it, accusing me of misogynoir, calling me disgusting, etc.
Further reblogs were filled with pretty awful stuff, and I was getting DMs telling me to kms; a lot of really alarming things for a 12 year old with 5 followers to be the target of. I deleted the post on my blog and privately messaged the original responder begging her to help me. I sent her screenshot after screenshot of the harassment I was getting. She refused, told me I deserved the harassment. I deleted that account soon after. All because I said kissing someone who’s in the middle of an emotional breakdown is not a cool thing to do.

I live here in America with my parents, but the rest of my family is in Poland and I can't imagine what it would be like to hear news of them hurt. When I first discovered what Felix was doing, I was so uncomfortable I can't even explain it. I'm really glad you're addressing him and what he's been doing!

I love all the german people in the comments who are absolutely disgusted and disappointed by Felix’s actions, and rightfully so. I’m Israeli, my grandparents were born and raised in Israel and were children during the Holocaust, which ended in the loss of my grandfather’s sister at a very young age. Both me and my family seeing this kind of thing makes us feel like we have to start being much more careful when leaving the house. But all the other, much kinder and more intelligent German folks speaking out against Mr. Twinkler here, makes me feel so much better.
