Thanks for the detailed video! I’m waiting for my TRX4M Bronco to come in the mail with a TON of hop ups and this has been really helpful to see how it all comes apart as well as tips and tricks to cleaning and maintaining!
Oh, man, thanks for this video, I didn't know these shock absorbers are repairable. To he honest, I'm quite disappointed with Traxxas parts quality - shocks leaked out dry in one week, steering motor destroyed himself in two weeks (inner gears just... eated each other and now he can just make bzzzzz and brrrr while trying to turn the front axle). I was hoping to see any grease in axles added from Traxxas plant - but no, its completely dry (and gearbox is dry too). I'm waiting for Injora's steering motor replacement and got pretty close in my mind to replace front and rear axles to metal Injora's analog - but the price is... i think i need to live with it for a while to make a decision))
You’re very welcome! Yeah the quality of some of the parts used on the TRX4M are sub par for sure. The servo and shocks being some of the worst. Once you replace the necessary parts the TRX4M is actually a pretty capable little rig though! I’ve found Traxxas quality (especially their shocks ironically) to be very good on other models I’ve owned. They came up short on the TRX4M.
I’m completely shocked 😳. I had no idea the stock shocks were oil fillable. I just did this and it makes a huge difference, very smooth. Thanks 👍👍
Im glad I was able to help! Thanks for watching.
