It was great to meet you all (Tyler, Demi & Nick, as well as Shad) at the Sydney 4x4 Show yesterday (Sat). The 80 looks awesome in person. 👍 Nick's comments continues to crack me up - Eyemometer 🤣
G'day guys, wow the Cruiser looks awesome... I prefer black wheels on a white vehicle, but the bling these wheels give do look awesome. Nice lift. The GQ's and 80 series 4wds are IMO the cream of the crop. You have created some nice 4wds. Well done !!! 👍.
@@TylerThompson90I thought the new engineering you could only go 33 for tire size. Your mate i just forgot his name the one with the chopped gq is only engineered for 33.
You guys are such a fun team to watch. Love the progress of the 80 Series. I'm with you with black wheels Tyler - not a fan. I also have one of those eyomometer that Nick has but mine is broken, I think. 😁
Great vid as always guys, couldn't make show this yr due to family and work commitments, but 80 looks great in the vid, cant wait to see it on the trails👍
Great to see you guys at the show and say g'day. When are you going to start using spring rubbers??? Take the hammer off Nick. Love the EP. Love the disclosures. Good to see you guys doing this as most would do - in the driveway - realistic

panhard bar you measure from tire or wheel or whatevers easy to the frame on each side and adjust until both sides are the same and the axle is centered
Really loving the look of this rig. I'd even go as far to say id prefer this over Sam Young's bigger isn't always best. On another note seems like install went heaps quicker on the 80 compared to the gu, Toyota easier to work on
Hey Tyler Thompson all great what you are doing but can you do a simple video on camping etiquette a lot of places are getting shit down due to people raiding the bush for timber leaving fires going etc. also maybe explain that for touring you do not need lift kits tyres
Good stuff Gentlemen, Off the track query....When you do mods like this, especially DIY style...do you have to get the vehicle certified afterwards from some kind of a regulatory body? Planning on moving to Australia latter part of the year, I too work on my rigs both 4x4 and enduro bikes. Where I am now, we get pulled over for having heavy mods...even lifts, larger wheels and things like bull bars, auxiliary lighting like spotties, lightbars are frowned upon
Cheers mate. All mods have to be within the guidelines of the modification laws of the state you live in within Australia. All this information is online, there are certain things you have to have a professional do but a lot of things can be DIY.
YET another Sunday morning ritual of maccas breakfast and a great TT vid. THANK GOD the qualified mechanic is present to go over and ensure you had all the proper parts and furthermore, to ensure you guys have your 💩 together and in order...as was starting to worry for a sec when she wasn't around.. 😁 I noticed that the most critical parts were specifically designated to the qualified mechanic at 25:00 with the torque tightening of nuts..and the touching up the rims. 😁 Oh at 15:00...heres boofhead squezzed up under the four-wheel drive with no room whatsoever trying to fit the bars to then 15 seconds later at 15:15, heres TT talking exactly about the situation of confined spaces where if you don't have a hoist at home this this is how you do it..ALL whilst looking over your right shoulder to see there is 2 brand new red things namely - car ramps that someones forgotten about 😊😁😂 haha Only complaint this week is still... @@Moretrailsmorecamping I own both, 80 is the better offroad vehicle and the GU is the better road/towing vehicle. But, that's in modified form. In stock form, lift and tyres only, you get more for your money, with a GU, especially while these utubians are running up 80 prices with these sponsor paid for builds.

Yeah but sponsors want you to show off their flagship gear, not the every day boring stuff (that makes up like 90% of their sales). I would have liked to see it as more of a "budget" build too.
For anyone that's fitting there own hyperflex radius arms, its much easier to fit the diff end first then the chassis end :)

“Watch that little pumpkin kid you’ll smack him in the head with it” old Burto is one of the best things to happen to your channel 😂
When you’re so bogan you need subtitles...
It's easier if you undo the radius arm bolts and not the nuts. The nuts have 2 raised nipples that lock into the bracket making them a locknut.
That Nick is one🤣🤣👍👍 The 80 looks great, looked it over yesterday great job guys
Thank you!
Must be wheel aligned afterwards Tyler no ifs or butts mate. Will definitely scrub tyres if you go by measuring alone.

at 25:04 the red dot on tyre should be at the valve location, its the indicator for lightest part of tyre
How good is Katie looking 😮
Burto and his (apprentice) are true blue 💙 legends!! What I’d give to have a couple of mates like them!!
Looking great folks, makes me think an 80 isn't such a bad idea after all. A few minutes on the 80 group will sort me out!
Piss everyone off and put in a Barra Turbo 😂 Simply love this channel. Lotsa love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Hot tip for when you get new rims in chrome/polished get just a thick layer of clear coat on them, then ceramic coat
Your neighbours must love you
Lets see the swerve and brake tests when fully loaded as per usual Engineering tests, that would be a good video.
He did it with the gu, same car, same suspension.....
I have already done this video on my GU patrol, swerve and brake tests filmed. Has the same set up

Well yeah, it's not quite a full ugga dugga, so dak dak makes sense.
Looks great guys. the machined alloys are so retro, however absolutely suits the car
a standard front bar and high mount would really look great with the sunvisor!
panhard bar you measure from tire or wheel or whatevers easy to the frame on each side and adjust until both sides are the same and the axle is centered
If I remember right, on those cruisers you undo the bolt and not the nut. Nuts tend to grab coz the have teeth on em. (I think) 😅
Only on certain models Nick said, these ones were flat
Tyler please ensure Burto remains in the upcoming episodes his comedy is second to none 😂 " You have the neck of a brown snake brother" 🤣🤣🤣
The 80 is the best looking cruiser imho, ahead of the current Prado. Good on ya for finally getting a proper fourby 😆
That’s one sick 80 mate!🔥 Youse should keep the fz and turbo charge it? Would be a sick project💯
That feisty Lady's got one sweet looking beast 🤘🤙👍
Been looking forward to these updates! Lookin good team!
Well done, 80s looking good.🤘
Undo the bolt on the radius arms. Not the nut. The nuts have little raised bumps to lock them in. Thats why they were so hard to undo

@TylerThompson90 I'm surprised, every 80 and 105 iv done have all had them.

Best build series. I couldn’t image the 1fz on the 35s would be any worse on fuel then the TB48 on 35s ?
Yeah uses a bit more then the TB48
What size spacer did you use in the beadlock ring?
I just asked dynamic wheel co to send the matching spacer, not too sure on its thickness
You know that the nuts on the radius arms shouldn’t be undone, the bolt side should be undone as the nut has teeth that bite into chassis mounts 😉
Looks smick 😊mate .. he’s good on the tools !!
