Glad to have found this channel. It’s amazing to see all the work that goes into making it overland build on the 4Runner. I can’t wait to one day be able to do the same. I would definitely like to take to your shop to get install because If I do it, I’m sure I’m going to miss a few steps. I believe it would take 120 hours to do the job. But for me it would a solid 2 months 😂. Nonetheless AMAZING WORK YOU GUYS DID!!!!😊😊😊😊

I fit 285/70/17’s on my stock 5th gen, I used a set of steel spare rims. They tuck in deep but don’t rub on anything.
What a sick build. Most of us only dream of doing all these mods at once. These 5th gen 4runners are just badass looking stock, but when they are all decked out they look like monsters. Im just happy to own a 2013 5th gen 4runner the same color as the one in the video. I've had it for a month and have only put on sequential taillights from ebay and plasti dipped all the chrome trim and emblems.
One mod at a time. You'll get there!

I have off-road motorcycles for my adventures and I doubt I could ever justify doing this to my ‘23 TRD Offroad Premium (same color). Shoot I’ve had it now 3 months and just went over 800 miles. I definitely need some things especially running boards since the dogs don’t like the huge jump to get back in the 4Runner after a long walk.
There’s a lady at the gym which has some of the items you did to this one on her. The lady is rather cute but I really think I have a crush on her bad ass looking 4Runner.
Awesome build which I really enjoyed and can’t wait for the next one. Cory is 4Runner surgeon.

The lowering of the spare tire like that is actually awesome - that might be a normal feature on modern trucks but ive never seen that before

I have a 23’ 4R that I’ve done a similar set of upgrades to. Mine has the same C4 lo pro front bumper with high clearance side and Warn winch. I opted to go with an Elka 2.5 adjustable suspension all around. I have the RSG sliders and front and center steel skid plates underneath. I do have the Crestone rack but went with a Extreme LED light bar, my other lights are all Baja Designs. He’s going to love the Mickey Thompsons, I have the same ones. I have not found a rear bumper yet that I like enough. I’m planning on only a tire swing out but I don’t want to sacrifice the BSM’s. Lastly the ARB twin is one of my favorite mods, I have mine in the same position but opted not to do the tank or the front connection. I like popping the hood and plugging straight in.

Fantastic build. Thanks for taking us all along. Thought I saw this was a TRD Offroad? Curious, since so many components were taken off, would it be better just to start off with a SR5 Premium 4×4? I've never owned a 4Runner is why I ask?

Excellent build…..I’m on my third 5th gen and absolutely love these things. Wish I had the coin for suspension and wheels and tires. Love the Marimoto lights. I’m stuck with LED replacement bulbs in halogen housing. 2020 ORP with 19k miles. Your work is amazing. Maybe one day 👍🏻

Understand no worries acceptable rate. That's impressive! As an electrical engineer with a Master's degree and 20 years of experience, I certainly don't earn $110 per hour, haha! However, I'll definitely be bringing my GX to you for a medium or long travel suspension upgrade very soon. I wish I had found your shop earlier, as my GX is undergoing a similar build, except for those shocks, with a similar parts cost.

That 4Runner is beautiful!!! I kept pausing the video at the end because I was trying to see where you mounted the quick connect for the air hose on the bumpers. I couldn't find them.
Edit: I watched a walk-around video about this 4Runner and saw where the front quick connect was installed.
Excellent work! Wow you (your shop) have been busy. My estimated for shop labor hour is 100 hours (@ ~$110/hr). Plus ~$10k/$15k of camping gears & sleeping platform this great rig will ready for Moab..ha..ha. She is ready now! (my GX460 gone thru about the same mods). Sorry for your finger that got cut!
How long was the lead-time for all part to get to your shop? Did you have to do 'body mount chop' to clear 285/70R17? Love your video.

@@yotaxpedition each to there own mate 😂. I personally would've used an air saw then neatened up a mini belt sander then deburred the edge👍. Beautiful finish every time. I do like that you yanks are using our products tho ARB for the win
I do have an air saw that I use often but the bumper was vibrating to much

My friend, save no less than 10% of all you earn each week (preferably more), ensure it is earning current interest rate or better, and don’t touch it for a year. You will be able to afford most or all of these mods! Forget the lottery and do it the slow, smart way. You can do it!!

I have a 2023 SR5 Premium and getting ready to order a 2024 Off Road Premium because we fight over who gets to drive the 4Runner. I would do this to the 2024.
I spent almost $20K in my wife’s 2018 4Runner SR5, Method wheels. Toyo tires (same size 265/70 R17), Magnuson supercharger, Bilstein 8100 suspension, Power Brakes front and rear, High Country running boards/steps, Toyota rubber mats and Alpine radio with Focal speakers. Beauty is in the muscle.
Supercharger is a great add for these vehicles.
Looking good! just missing a re-gear and a front locker. Toyota parts definitely aren't cheap!

4runner actually underrated
Hey guys! Thanks for the content. I have couple questions in regards to the front bumper: Does the front camera and TSS sensor still work with the 'bull" bar over them, is the visibility affected? In order to get the winch to fit did you have to adjust the radiator tube (skinny angular tube) that runs pretty close to where the winch location is?

With the full bull bar and no bull bar it does not block the TSS sensor. The mid height bull bar does block it. With the full bull bar its blocks the camera a little at the top of the screen but still fully usable.
Great installation! Im on the fence on the parts choices and chopping a new vehicle. I am sure there are other options and an older model would be better chopping up.Of course my opinion is mine. Everybody has one.

He needs an overland exhaust on there to tuck it in the rear. Using my 4Runner off roading, I have a similar set up, I dented the exhaust pipe. Tucking it up into the rear would have been a solid move

Wow, that's a lot of work, but it looks good. Curious how much its payload and tow capacity was lowered with all that extra weight. I personally don't understand the excess in overlanding.
