Man you are really digging into the hidden details now and I love it. Really love how these minor things can add so much depth to a character and really makes you think of Stu as a psychopathic killer like real like serial killers rather than the comedic wacky bubbly idiot the film initially portrayed him to be.
The first thing that came to mind after the video was both Billy and Stu playing with those dolls as like 8-year-olds playing a game of plotting murders. One rehearsing the lines ghostface is gonna say on the phone and the other one responding in a high pitched voice trying to impersonate Drew Barrymore while moving the doll's hands and stuff? Great video as always! ❤️ The doll thing symbolizes multiple things to me. Stu thinks of people like toys. He thought it was all a game and the dolls further show this childish, removed from reality mindset that Billy took advantage of. Stu was so removed from reality and had such self control issues that it makes perfect sense why it was so easy for Billy to get him on board. This lack of self control is showed further when Stu says insensitive things like "Liver alone!" and stabs Billy too deep. It makes perfect sense why Billy was the main planner, Billy knew about Stu's lack of control and therefore never trusted him completely with the plans. Stu just followed bc he loved killing and he was so blinded by creating a 'movie' that he didn't care about the consequences. This explains why Stu seemed surprised when Billy revealed his motive - Stu was so blinded by killing that he might not have questioned Billy on why he was going after Sidney in the first place.
This would be an interesting way to spin the franchise, bring Stu back and tie this into the story and have him bring up the fact that everyone was so focused on Billy that he was able stay under the radar all these years. Not sure how they can get past 4 movies without mentioning he was still alive and then have him be alive lol but I'm not a writer but I'm sure Kevin Williamson can figure it out.

throughout the production of the movie, wes craven and the actors of ghostface made the agreement to make gestures to tell the identity of who was inside the mask (even though i still wish they still done it through the scream movies other than scream 2). billy was the one who held the weapon with one hand, and stu was the one who held his up in the air with 2 hands (due to the absence of billy in his and sidney's scene at stu's party). if that were true, billy was responsible for casey and principal himbry's demise and stu was just following along wit the calls. due to the peer pressure and the quotes throughout the climax of the movie, i think stu was trying to accept the fact that he's following billy's plan and had to make a lot of sacrifices into carrying out "the movie," which gives his cut of the deal. maybe the dolls were like a coping mechanism to move forward with the plan until he was driven insane til the end. that's just my theory if the dolls were meant to be more than a foreshadow. great video btw, matthew lillard did an amazing job. i like these theory videos coming back. i love unraveling mysteries and hidden easter eggs in movies, it's just so fun.

Stu, Amber, and Mickey all killed just to kill in my opinion 😵💫. Jill, Billy, Ms. Loomis, and Roman had personal vendettas against Sidney (and/or her mom) 🧠. Ritchie wanted to make a requel 😒.

Stu didn't kill the principle. Billy did. Look closely at the way each killer holds their knife. But yeah I agree. Both Billy and Stu are some truly sinister individuals. And I think they are one of a kind, the sequels failed to live up to them. The other killers are truly less scary than cold and calculating Billy and gullible eager Stu.
Hey I just found this channel and always enjoyed these kinds of analyses, but I do have a question. If Stu had these dolls as a way to relive a moment that he enjoyed, would it also be a possible or would it be too far of a stretch to assume that he had some kind of token or trophy, something from the murder he took part in, involving Sidney's mother? Your deepdives have got me asking so many questions and rewatching the movies for anything I missed.
I've always thought Stu did most of the killings. Billy killed Sidney's mom which the doll theory further proves as we don't have a doll for Maureen. Billy also killed Tatum. It's heavily implied that Stu was the one who raped Maureen.
Really freaky. Glad I got to see this movie in theaters with my friend in 2021 for the 25th anniversary since I was a toddler when it originally came out.

what if stu returns thanks to his brother when lezzly frees him from prison, of course in episode 6 they wouldn't be the killers but cristina carpenter who was lezzly's old girlfriend in episode 7 then the matcher brothers would be the killers so it would make sense to bring sidney back the finale, brother killers, we haven't seen anything like this in a scream movie before, and Lezzy would have a reason to kill the survivors because she thinks they killed her son

Afton as a character should be depicted as having what appears to be a friendly, unknowing personality but when the truth behind the Missing Children Incident was revealed, he showed his true face. To hide suspicion from the police, he has to be calm, manipulative and charming. Qualities Matthew can definately bring to the table if you have seen both Scream and Thirteen Ghosts. he truly has the skills and I have outmost faith and confidence
