Exactly what I had to do the 94 Blazer not too long back. I removed all the rust and used rust reformer, then after drying I Herculined it. I should have gone Raptor liner but happy with the results after two years.

Nice!!! That will probably last longer than what I did. I Need to do my bed at some point. It just has a rubber cover now.

Thanks! My heart sank when I first saw it. I did get lucky. I'm enjoying the truck but it still needs lots of work

Nice Job Maq 👌 Painting is the satisfying bit after all that grinding and dust.

Thanks! Yes it is! It was my first time dealing with something like that. I prefer mechanical stuff. But this was rewarding too.

I know its a little late but you should’ve used POR-15.. a paint on rust inhibitor that was made specifically for rust treatment.. just a heads for future projects. ✌🏽

I have a 92 i like yours more and it's honestly in better shape than mine my rocker panels are non existent haha 😅 also i did this same job on my truck and it was my drivers side that was really rusty. That old sound dampening really liked to hold in moisture. Mines a camping beater though so i have the same thought process of it's a beater truck. I keep it mechanically sound but it's ugly lol

Nice!!! These trucks seem like they'll run forever if the body/chassis holds up .That sound dampening is the worst. Mine was flaking off and rusty and I breathed in some particles in. It was nasty....

There are a million videos on how to do this. Why didn't you check some of them out?

😮I was busy trying to get it done I guess🤔 It didn't seem like a big deal. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do on the next rusted floorboard I encounter?
