I have a 03 dodge 1500 in PA we use a lot of Salt when it snows . It’s starting to take a toll on my Frame it that what I should use or something more stronger. Thanks big fan of your show.
Looks great, looks you did great prep work! I want to do this on my car, but I would like it to be white to match the interior paint- any suggestions on what kind of paint to use over the por-15? Thank you!:)
Just subscribed. I enjoy your videos . I have a 2016 Ford F-150 4x4. I learned to drive in a 1974 Ford F 100 3 spd column shift. The clutch was like doing a one leg press . It was a great no frills truck with a big straight six. Wish I still had it .
You did everything correctly on the POR 15, nice job. Do you have a driver door for a 73-79 that's rust and dent-free with good dentside trim and rubber? Color doesn't matter. Also, do you have a good 78-79 Bronco tailgate with good glass and mechanism? I know all the sheet metal is the same from 78-96, but there were changes in glass, latches, and window mechanism throughout the years and 78-79 was 2-year only glass.
Nice work Solomon Is that a resin based or metal based coating I used to spray pipe from 1/2" to 4' diameter for underground application We sand blasted it first then coat it Ship it back out to jobsites This reminds me of that kinda coating I know you and a bunch of folks have put some great work into that truck If it were mine For no amount of money could it be bought FordEra👍
Thanks, great job Salomon! I wanted to watch a floor coat like you did, thanks for sharing! Love your truck and especially the Cummins and Allison swap. Are you doing anything on the exterior? You did some trim, are you going to prep and paint? or prep and wrap? Or leave the honor badge that is the original Patina? On the floor coat, l would have followed through with the second coat. Just that thing? Why would you stop ✋ when it was ready? Good friends or Great friends? 👍it makes a huge difference! What if the glue on your insulation pulls up the first coat? 🤔 it's just you did such a great 👍 job with all the prep, and just a half hour for a second coat? Good luck with the new interior 👍. 👌✌🏻🙋♂️🌧🇨🇦👨🦽❔
Thank you. For the exterior im not 100% sure for now its staying but the future is still unknown. I probably still could do the 2nd coat but I laid on a thick 1st coat and its going to be covered so i didnt think it would matter to much
That Por15 is bad news, it's good for brand new metal but people are putting it over rust and it just traps the moisture. NHOU- New Hampshire oil is the best way to go....second best is fluid film.
I put por-15 on the floor and trunk floor of my 1951 mercury Monterey and if you prep your surfaces right the por-15 goes down easy
Thanks Salomon. I have wondered how POR15 works and how to apply it, now I know. Excellent video.

Right on, I've been waiting for this follow up video on Gold Dust's interior! Love it!
More to come!
POR 15 is a great product. I used it on a Jeep I restored. When I sold it the buyer said after looking at the underside he was sold.
Real nice job looks Great
They say 95% of any paint job is good prep. so I think that should last a long time because you did a phenomenal job at preparing the surface!
The process is amazing bro
Awesome video Solomon! Just picked up a new project and was looking for a good how-to on this!
Im glad i can help out man, thanks for watching

Checkout adventures made from scratch for a 79 ranger xlt
would this work good in a truck bed?
it would but its not a topcoat and its also not textured like a bed floor paint would be
