Great video! I am about to tackle one that looks way worse than yours. More rust so not as much floor to cut out at least. Your experience has helped me a lot and I now feel like I can do this pretty daunting job! 5 days seems about right.
Congrats man! I have the same thing ahead of me that you just came through and your experience was eye opening. Now I know exactly the tools and steps to follow and where to be and what to watch for on the rebuild. Did you investigate where the rust originated, as in leaking cab vents, firewall, etc. , or perhaps just water off boots. I feel my issue was a combination of snow on boots and a torn drivers door weather stripping. Thanks
Not exactly sure but over the years I had a windshield leak, a leak through fire wall where plow wires came through, and an XM antenna going out of the third brake light, the passenger side still looks like new. I didn't do a video but sometime before I replaced the cab corners and rockers.
