    I think something that many people don't mention is that the cake boards you use for middle tiers are thinner and lighter. They are somewhat different than your normal cake boards.
    There are cake boards for tiered cakes.
    I hope she confirms this.

    Cake is absolutely gorgeous. You made stacking so easy. In America tutorials all I see is them pounding down the central dowel with a hammer from the top of the cake. Your way looks much easier and less chance of damaging the cake. I also love the acetate trick in the cake tins I remember seeing it on your channel before. How could I find it again. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜

    • @GeorgiasCakes
      @GeorgiasCakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yes that really scares me so I much prefer this method! You can find the acetate trick on my back to basics wedding cake tutorial - I use paper in that specific tutorial but acetate works even better!

    Is the wooden dowel sharp on one end that is sitting on the 8 inch bottom tier? Is it sitting just on top of the bottom of this board or does it have a sharpened edge and poked into the bottom 8 inch board?

      It's important to control the temperature changes, so do't freeze the cake then bring it to a warm room. Best to put it in the fridge first or make sure the room is cold!
