Sometimes it takes a lot of trying and failing or not enjoying things to find our place in life and what brings us internal happiness. I’m so glad you were able to find your happiness in such a young age. I enjoy baking and having people enjoy what makes me happy to do!!! 🥰

I’m in Australia, I have been making cakes for years, but after having my second baby, I have started a side cake hustle in the last 4 months to supplement my part time “regular” job to be able to stay home more.
You have helped me so much to learn, hone and explore my skills. Thank you for your awesome content, I LOVE how you teach, you’re wonderful ❤️ I love your varied story, my life has been the same, it adds great spice 😍

Oh my goodness... you remind me of Me! As a teenager, I loved manga and drawing cartoons. In fact, Christopher Hart had been my biggest inspiration for vintage cartoon characters. I won many art contests before college. I had the dream to become an Animator for Pixar Animation Studios. Though, I soon realized (right before my freshman year of college) that I wasn't super tech-savvy. And the fun process of drawing characters as transitioning to digital means seemed daunting as the technology 'stole' the fun. Many of my high school instructors referred to me as "A Jack-of-All-Trades" because I had a broad skill set and various ambitious dreams.
Now, I possess experience, certifications, and degrees oriented toward Healthcare Admin. to only realize that my heart is in the kitchen rather than drawing manga, cartoons or even promoting patient advocacy. Similarly, I'm finding my comfortable zone in the kitchen. I recently purchased a few hundreds dollars worth of baking supplies (piping tips, piping bags, cookie cutters, various pans for pies, cookies, tarts, parchment paper, etc.). And I'm watching your informative tutorials to learn how to effectively pipe! Yes, I totally subscribed to your channel! I'm super excited! I love your friendly personality and easygoing demeanor!

So interesting.. I first thought I ll watch just a few minutes and ended up watching the whole video.. Will definitely try out your pound cake recipe, thats the video that popped up and brought me here .. As soon as I can get some butter that is! We are currently having a shortage..

I discovered your channel while pregnant last year and I have learned so much. My mom always made our birthday cakes growing up and I am so excited to do it for my son. I am currently baking a cake and hoping to practice cutting layers and making buttercream. I hope one day you’ll able to come to the US and do a few classes. I’ll be there fangirling🙃

I love watching your TH-cam channel and try to watch each one. I am a self taught cake decorator and enjoy watching your videos. I have not at this stage tried any of your recipes or something like, say the palette knife decorating but may do at some point. I am pretty much a hobby baker/decorator and rely on my Facebook page to obtain orders. Thank you for this video it makes it more like you know you more as a person than someone who demonstrates your wonderful skill. I live in Australia. Take care.
