So when you cut the cake and serve it how do you avoid giving someone a piece that has all those things you put in it to hold it together?
So you leave the cake board on the buttom of the top tier when you stack?

It could be the cake layers your using? Do you use a cake leveler to cut off all the rounded tops? That could help!
