Couple Tips: 1.) Find an outlaw dissonant system (can farm all the resonators you want without being harassed by sentinels if you prefer), but then search 3 Star (Economy Scanner recommended) economy systems with Dissonance to find your "Forever Ship" if you're hunting the B, A, an S class beauties - sell or keep or whatever. 3 Star systems have highest chances for better classes. 2.) Place a save beacon next to the crashed interceptor you want to farm (since you can reload and get another one... over... and over.. There's one by my save beacon everytime I load back in the game and warp to it
@@andruto1587put down a bass computer and a teleporter. But it will be the same ship over and over, so it is best to find a higher class Interceptor ship before you place down a bass computer
Great video. With all the new players this is really helpful. Just some things that I have found when hunting sentinel ships: 1. if you get right next to the Dissonance Resonators they will tell you what they drop. (Echo Locator or Inverted Mirror) 2. If you find an Outlaw system that is also Dissonant you can fly around and shoot the mirrors from your ship without having to land. There are no sentinel police in Outlaw systems. 3. Get an Economy Scanner for your ship. It helps to identify the system type from the galaxy map. 4. If you keep any of the sentinel ships you will need Radiant Shards as fuel...so collect some and keep in you new ship. Also Pugneum. 5. Once you find one Echo Camp you can put a marker there or a base so you can return and it will work again to find more ships. I think there is a limit but I've only done 3 or 4 before I move on. (This was mentioned in the video but always remember to drop some kind of marker. Once you fly away you may not find this specific camp again) 6. If you are doing this to make credits then always take the multitool. You can salvage it in the Anomaly. 7. For your main ship get the Launcher Auto Recharger. It will save you from having to use launch fuel while ship hunting. 8. before you claim the new ship (when you are on the screen comparing the two ships), if it is better than your current one and you want to move your stuff from your current ship to the new one, click the right/left on the D-Pad(not sure for keyboard) and you can move all your inventory over easily to the new ship. Then claim the new ship. You'll just have to move your tech modules from the old ship to the new one now. 9. You can claim ships and wait to salvage them all at one time. Just make sure you have enough room. I think 12 ships might be the max you can own. Someone else can confirm. 10. Make sure you have enough room in your inventory when salvaging ships. They will give upgrades too. It won't let you salvage if you don't have enough room.
Tbf; I started playing a week ago, haven't really farmed units at all but just sold stuff and ships i found on my way trough the main quest and i am already at 200m units ^^
Now it is a great tip to put down a bass computer next to the echo locator camp, you can actually put down a bass computer right next to the Interceptor crash site and the ship will spawn multiple times, it won't spawn every single time but it will spawn the only trick is you will still need the ingredients to fix the ship like the inverted mirrors and radiant shards so firm those as much as you can. But you get a free ship and all you have to do is go get the harmonic brain and skip the first steps The only downfall is that the Interceptor ship that spawns in that spot at your base will be the same ship over and over. So find a higher class Interceptor before you place down a bass computer to maximize output
dont know how this compares but you could buy the suspicous packs from outlaw systems open them and then go sell the upgrade modules for 300-400 nanites each gets you like 5k every 2-3 minutes just need a lot of units for a continuous farm
My Echo Locator tells me "Locator failed. No harmonies detected in current system." system is medium economy, conflict level 1; planet is sentinels: dissonant; flora: displaced; fauna: lost.
Fastest way would be to switch to custom mode and make a bunch of stasis devices for free without using materials then switch back to normal and go sell them for 30 million a pop.
I did this with my friend and we both got the same ship they were inside eachother and the ship got glitched for both of us we can sell the ship and everytime we load the save file we always have the same ship back
I prefer the chlorine selling method. At the moment, i can get over 400mil minus what i buy it back at 80% less value, you can only buy it back if there is already chlorine in the trade menu otherwise you will lose all the chlorine.
How much oxygen do You need to make this method profitable? I just started my oxygen farm. But not sure how many collectors do i need to make a really lot of units
@gamecomand personally I would find a oxygen gas pocket. But you will need 2 salt and 2 oxygen to make 5 chlorine. Or 1 chlorine and 2 oxygen to make 6 chlorine.
This is actually great for early game, though people should slowly start building a stasis device farm over time, that's the best at the end of the day.
@@hungryforcatnip it is, and there are a ton of ways to make decent units....my fastest way so far is farming the sentinel ships, even a C class nets you 20mil. Ultimately the farm is kinda nice.

@@agnichatian I've got it down to a science. Just a question. Why everybody is so hyped for S class ships and multitools? You can upgrade them easy peasy... Okay it's a bit costy but why hunt for S class?? One thing that matters is how it looks and that's all... The only thing you can't upgrade is a freighter... so you have to hunt for S class for those but nothing else have to be S class.
