If you flatten and build your room straight on the ground like that, the ground will grow back into your room. Instead, build the base room elevated off the ground. Everything else can still be down in the dirt
I think it happens when the game gets updated like with a new patch or something. Since we got the last one quite recently I don't we have to worry about that in the close future or ever.
Automated is false. The end part of “consuming” takes forever because consume only converts 5-10 at a time. So you are then risking carpal tunnel syndrome, pressing a button continuously for a very long time. That is not automation.
Thanks for the quick instruction. I've been using dissonance worlds to collect vast amounts of Atlantium to use with my Pugneum in a large refiner (and in my MK2 backpack refiner), and they refine directly to Moulds.
@@1WEAZEL1 I was wrong, it refines into Moulds, so there's one more step after. But it's really easy to acquire Pug simply by purchasing it from every transaction you come across. The dissonance worlds are loaded with the atlantideum, so it's very easy to acquire once you've built a base on one of those worlds.

I have to ask... When i logged in today and went to the droid farm i was expecting to have a full Harvester, but it looks that animals stop interacting when i logged off last night. Sp is this a passive farm? Or i'm doing something wrong? Do i need to drop some batteries before leaving?

Though not automated, nothing is faster and produce more nanites than refining larval cores. It's a chore, sure, but 20 cores producing 1000 nanites in 2 seconds is really not bad (7 seconds total, if you count the time it takes to drag the cores in your backpack refiner, start the thing, and dragging the nanites out) FYI this method uses the duplication glitch. Please ignore if you dont want to cheat
Thanks for the tip! But is flattening out the area really such a good way to build a base? It will inevitably spawn back at some point and may ruin things, or did one of the last updates change this? I'd guess not. I found it's much safer to just raise everything above the ground a bit, there's still unforeseen stuff that might grow into it but at least the ground won't spawn back inside your buildings.
@@1WEAZEL1 Haha, you're welcome! I also did this at first but it became tedious, as sometimes it would spawn back rather fast. Also, when uploading bases like this they can be inaccessible for others, I often had that when visiting other players bases. You could even be trapped in some building if you teleport in there but can't teleport out because they don't have it powered.
Like i said this takes a bit longer and it not as effective as the mould farm but it does bring in some extra nanites... thanns for the awesome feedback
@@1WEAZEL1 we must be playing a differant game. :) The last time I crafted them it was instant. Much like ammo, there is no craft time. You can select how many with the arrow keys, and then craft that amount instantly, try it. There really is no wrong way to play though. Have fun!

I don't know if I did something wrong but the farm produces only around 130 chewy wires per hour, meaning its only 600-1300 nanites per hour which is nothing close to those 5-10k nanites you mention in the video.

Didn't see you put down a base computer, but if you did and click on Enable power, it gives infinite power also. Wouldn't that work too. Install metallic flooring. OH, from comments, this is NOT automated and can't leave the planet...NVM !!!!
Since when does feeding robots pellets work? Last I tried this it took ion batteries to feed them. I must have missed something in the patch notes. I think I would call this more of an AFK farm than automated tho, this only tends to work when within rendering range.

The havester is a must unforts .. cause it harvest the wires from the animals when they feed ... but i also realised that this method is not so benifisial as i thought it is.. my first method on nanites farm is alot better ... so i would sugest to give it a look

Yess if you feed them seperatly they eat ion batteries .. but if you use the feeders they get locked with normal food in the autofeeders ... just enjough tome so the chewy wires can be auto harvest
They eat bats crrect ... but for the auto feeders use pellets... but hust bare in mind i also found this out only a few days after creating the video.. u must be on the same planet where the feeders are in order for it to work
This is a afk farm, not "Automated" it doesn't work if you are out of rendering range, it does work good afk tho, but there are way better methods to getting more nanites faster.

@@1WEAZEL1 If you have access to at least 10 pirate stations or so and at least a few million units, go round to buy all the tech, unpack it and sell the upgrades, you can roughly make 40k nanites in half an hour, if I remember correctly. But I like your method, I will make this the next time I encounter such a planet, thanks!
It seems you don't know the exact meaning of the word AUTOMATED, your process is so painful and I don't know how it fits into the term automatic. Farming mould is much simpler.

@mahmutkelbas8175 I have the same base from 2022 that was dug out and it hasn't happened there. I just re-downloaded for the new update too.
I'm always discovering bases that are at least partially inaccessible because they built into the ground, and the ground came back. So frustrating!

Faecium and fungal mould creates animal pellets in processor in mass quantities. Make a bio dome full of this and it's self-sustaining. 😁

You can craft those pellets in your inventory, no need for the nutrient processor.

How can you create those Standing Planter without metal planting on your inventory?
If you cant craft metal plating you can buy it at a space station ... some space stations have them for sale at the terminal or the npc pilots

Finally found a droid planet, build a farm, both robotic species on that planet exclusively eat ion batteries :(
