    If you flatten and build your room straight on the ground like that, the ground will grow back into your room. Instead, build the base room elevated off the ground. Everything else can still be down in the dirt

    Automated is false. The end part of “consuming” takes forever because consume only converts 5-10 at a time. So you are then risking carpal tunnel syndrome, pressing a button continuously for a very long time. That is not automation.

    Though not automated, nothing is faster and produce more nanites than refining larval cores. It's a chore, sure, but 20 cores producing 1000 nanites in 2 seconds is really not bad (7 seconds total, if you count the time it takes to drag the cores in your backpack refiner, start the thing, and dragging the nanites out)
    FYI this method uses the duplication glitch. Please ignore if you dont want to cheat

    Thanks for the tip!
    But is flattening out the area really such a good way to build a base?
    It will inevitably spawn back at some point and may ruin things, or did one of the last updates change this? I'd guess not.
    I found it's much safer to just raise everything above the ground a bit, there's still unforeseen stuff that might grow into it but at least the ground won't spawn back inside your buildings.

    • @1WEAZEL1
      @1WEAZEL1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha, you're welcome!
      I also did this at first but it became tedious, as sometimes it would spawn back rather fast.
      Also, when uploading bases like this they can be inaccessible for others, I often had that when visiting other players bases.
      You could even be trapped in some building if you teleport in there but can't teleport out because they don't have it powered.
