@@7bup425 Beeblebum has a lot of good videos and Captain Steve. Way more experience than me. If you still need money it doesn't have to be activated indium. You can’t stack bones. But you can stack crystals as of 10. That means each stack gets you 2 million while a bone is usually around 100k only... storm crystals are waaay better.
I use the chlorine expansion early game for units, just need salt and a lil oxygen to get started refine the salt then throw both in the med refiner. Sell all the chlorine except a lil bit ofc and a half stack is about a mil super quick too

I’ve made a billion off of economy trading in space stations during exploration. Started with cobalt and eventually built up a hauler with 50k in gold, platinum cobolt and a couple of other things. Each new space station generally yields 45-85 million
You can also shoot freighters in black market systems (if you wanna avoid the space police). You can make loads of units through selling black market goods, plus they'll be carrying plenty of other useful materials like uranium, chromatic metal and fuel. Not as fast as the other methods, but I've say it's comparable to storm crystals, i.e. fun and gets you other resources
Quickest way so far for me is farming Salvaged ships and scraping them. Find Harmonic Camp on dissonant planet, put save beacon there and search for dissonance spikes over and over. Around 50 mils per ship, around 5 minutes per ship.

Hi! You should spread your miners by pairs. One small square(use ground plates) between all directions. Each pair has to have own supply line. Space between supply lines should be same- at least one square. If you do so, you will get back about 75 percentages of effeciency. The thing is: if you place third miner close to the pair-it works only at 10-15 percentage of possible, and each next miner even less.

space station pilots are very useful. you can buy oxygen from each one of them. little bit more work, but no gas cloud needed for the refining method then. also you can sell to them without crashing the system economy.
This is what i do too, go to a 3 star system, spend some time buying oxygen from the pilots. But also buy and scrap every S and A class ship you see except for haulers(too expensive). for the storm crystal mining if you don't wanna exit your exocraft use the minotaur exocraft because you can pick the crystals up from inside the mech just don't walk on them because i think that will break them
tip; if you exchange your ship and your old ship is still there. talk to the pilot, you can re-claim your old ship for free and scrap it for easy money and nanites

My favorite method is to sell Fusion Ignitors or Stasis Devices. They require more materials to build but with some gas extractors and few refiners you can basically "produce" the items in refiners (eg. cobalt + O2, condensed carbon + O2, organic expansion etc). These devices are also not affected by "crash economy" so you can sell them everywhere for full price...
Totally left out scanning, get a few S class scanner upgrades on a perfect supercharge slot multi and you can make a few million units from every single planet you visit
I always use my mech for storm crystal hunting. You can jump just as fast as any vehicle and often can jump once to the next bundle of crystals. Also you can harvest directly from the mech without getting in and out.
One quick way to get a lot of credits early on is distress signals, since they often lead you to damaged ships that you can get airborne by fixing the pulse drive and lift thrusters, and then you can take that damaged ship to a nearby space station and scrap it for millions of credits. Or you can scrap it for parts for your very own custom ship too, if you want to later on. Point is, free damaged ships can give you a lot of credits early on.
I can't wait to make units this fast. All I've been doing since I first got my hands on the game, was grinding, collecting, selling, and figuring out ways to make moolah asap. Activated Indium, here I come. But first things first... Grinding-
awesome list. I'd also add Gravitino Ball collection. Once you destroy all of the sentinels, they are all free to pick up for a pretty good income. All you'll need to take care of is storage at that point.
No man's sky is one of those games where getting to a billion doesn't feel like an achievement, the ease and how irrelevent the currency feels at that amount kills the joy
Right now another great method is scrapping sentinel ships. There are two ways to get one: Trigger a sentinel on the dissonant planet and: 1) go to your ship, go above planet's orbit and fight sentinels there, destroy sentinel mothership - you'll get a beacon 2) find a resonant mirror sentinel (big sentinels that look eerily similar to viruses digging), destroy him and all 5 waves - you'll get a beacon too. Once you find and repair the sentinel ship, the cheapest/worst one will give ~40 million, more expensive ones go for 50-60 million creds Once you get a hold of how the farm works, the whole cycle will take you 15-ish minutes.
A bit late, but thank you, I'm trying this method. For me It Is working very well, because It also doubles as nanite farming, something that a beginner player has very much need of.
or hunt for ships, deconstruct and sell their components. stack up to 200 of the 3 major expensive ships components, you'll be the richest lazy billionaire in no time
I've made hundreds of millions of credits with this refiner duplication glitch years ago. You could just put items in it and with some mechanic (idk how anymore) double take it out of it so I replicated all the expensive stuff multiple times. And even today I have enough credits for everything😂
You can also refine 2x salt into 1x chlorine too in a medium refiner. If you want to make it that way, then use the oxygen and chlorine method afterwards.
I'm able to stack 20 Storm Crystals. Perhaps I've got a tech upgrade that gives me extra space. Or maybe the latest NMS update made a change. I'm not sure. But it's fun to turn in a rack and see 100,000,000+ drop in the account.
I know another way wich is easy for me. 1. Find a high sentinel activity planet 2. Anger the sentinels and get the one marking out of five or up to four 3. Get in your ship and launch into space with the sentinel lock on thing still on you 4. Don’t go too far from the planet and start destroying the sentinel ships till you get five markings 5. Then destroy the sentilal cruiser( I destroy all ships then the cruiser to get extra materials but you don’t realy have to if you have good shielding) 6. Get the rare item after destroying the sentinel cruiser 7. Fallow the frequency and completely finish getting the three shards, inverted mirror and calabrate the sentinel ship core 8. Sell the ship for parts or keep it if it is a class, you like the design, or you wan to collect every version. And boom, leastly 18,000,000-ish currency for free
@@elgopuccino Oh absolutely, after selling too much, economies won’t want it anymore and the demand drops real fast. So it’s a good idea to bounce around from economy to economy, buying real low and selling high. Although you’ll never get the optimal margins of making it yourself.

I would recommend Gold over Activated Indium since an update switched the values around
Just stumbled on your content. Great stuff, really well done, and you are one funny dude.
Oh thank you Joseph. I hope you didn't twist your ankle from said stumble (that's a lawsuit waiting to happen).
Holy crap your content is good, thank you, i'll be trying this.
Thank YOU, it might be slightly different with the Waypoint update
Hilarious and informative. My favorite combo. Instant sub. Thanks!
Welcome to the pig pen 🐖
awesome list. I'd also add Gravitino Ball collection. Once you destroy all of the sentinels, they are all free to pick up for a pretty good income. All you'll need to take care of is storage at that point.
Actually for vehicle just summon from freighter if you have ever placed one and added upgrade to freighter.
Very true. For this I just assumed not everyone had a freighter yet.
@@DirtTheGamer "The easiest way to make a million dollars in the stock market is to start with two million"
@@jamesmcn0000 simple as that
helpful AF, pure comedy gold, thank you!
i imagined your voice in the south park series xD
Love it. Being a pig, I’d fit right in
Hilarious! Love the No Man's Sky content - keep it coming, Dirt!
Anything for da Waffle Warriors 🧇
Chlorine FTW. Have been supplying the universe will bath salts for years.
No man's sky is one of those games where getting to a billion doesn't feel like an achievement, the ease and how irrelevent the currency feels at that amount kills the joy
Right now another great method is scrapping sentinel ships.
There are two ways to get one:
Trigger a sentinel on the dissonant planet and:
1) go to your ship, go above planet's orbit and fight sentinels there, destroy sentinel mothership - you'll get a beacon
2) find a resonant mirror sentinel (big sentinels that look eerily similar to viruses digging), destroy him and all 5 waves - you'll get a beacon too.
Once you find and repair the sentinel ship, the cheapest/worst one will give ~40 million, more expensive ones go for 50-60 million creds
Once you get a hold of how the farm works, the whole cycle will take you 15-ish minutes.
That sounds fun and rewarding. It’s nice to have more adventurous options 😎
A bit late, but thank you, I'm trying this method. For me It Is working very well, because It also doubles as nanite farming, something that a beginner player has very much need of.
2023: *BECOME FUCKING SPACE PIRATES*
or hunt for ships, deconstruct and sell their components. stack up to 200 of the 3 major expensive ships components, you'll be the richest lazy billionaire in no time
You are hilarious! Your channel is so underrated! I love you! Subscribed! ❤
hey thanks ☺
Keep it up with the videos. Pretty good.
Hey thanks 😊
Awesome video 👏 I learned to get the moneys and also had a chuckle
The best combination of experiences
Dude, you're hilarious!
Thank you for making this video awesome and simple
Thank you for being you
I've made hundreds of millions of credits with this refiner duplication glitch years ago. You could just put items in it and with some mechanic (idk how anymore) double take it out of it so I replicated all the expensive stuff multiple times. And even today I have enough credits for everything😂
Sell all mass resources to people that land in the space stations. It will stop the economy from crashing
The video was great but your humor is what made me subscribe. More NMS videos pleeaase!
Or you join the anomaly and some random player starts filling your inventory with 30+ stacks of faecium at 9999 each.
dirt with a sense of humor! gotta love it! thanks
We travelers have been crashing economies since the very beginning.
Units received.
First video of yours, instant subscribe. Love your humor oh man!
Victory screech!
New England accent it sounds like Peter Griffin.
This was funny and helpful, thank you!
I think the unit cap is just intmax. Maximum value of a 32 bit signed integer. ;)
Math Easter eggs are the best Easter eggs
You can also refine 2x salt into 1x chlorine too in a medium refiner. If you want to make it that way, then use the oxygen and chlorine method afterwards.
Great video! Very funny, entertaining, and educational!
I am honored, Captain Tuna 🫡
I'm able to stack 20 Storm Crystals. Perhaps I've got a tech upgrade that gives me extra space. Or maybe the latest NMS update made a change. I'm not sure. But it's fun to turn in a rack and see 100,000,000+ drop in the account.
Yeah I think that must've been an update, but either way that's a sweeeet feeling
just started playing a few days ago and reached 1.5 billion units simply by being afk in the Anomaly. random people just give you stuff lol
The absolute best strategy
I know another way wich is easy for me.
1. Find a high sentinel activity planet
2. Anger the sentinels and get the one marking out of five or up to four
3. Get in your ship and launch into space with the sentinel lock on thing still on you
4. Don’t go too far from the planet and start destroying the sentinel ships till you get five markings
5. Then destroy the sentilal cruiser( I destroy all ships then the cruiser to get extra materials but you don’t realy have to if you have good shielding)
6. Get the rare item after destroying the sentinel cruiser
7. Fallow the frequency and completely finish getting the three shards, inverted mirror and calabrate the sentinel ship core
8. Sell the ship for parts or keep it if it is a class, you like the design, or you wan to collect every version.
And boom, leastly 18,000,000-ish currency for free
great video and still replying to all comments, thats how it should be
But I’m not gonna reply to yours. Wait.
@@DirtTheGamer question, whenever i sell activated indium i can't buy it back anymore, would like to know if you can market crash with AI
@@elgopuccino Oh absolutely, after selling too much, economies won’t want it anymore and the demand drops real fast. So it’s a good idea to bounce around from economy to economy, buying real low and selling high. Although you’ll never get the optimal margins of making it yourself.
Instant sub for the on-point humor and great info. You make Thor: Sob and Ponder look like it was written by G4TV.
Loved this vid. You sir, are amusingly wealthy.
That's a compliment I never thought I'd receive
subscribed for the entertainment value. Great vid!
wtf is this persona Peter Griffin mixed with Newman
I am doing the crystals..hands down awesome, thanks.
But I still want more
There’s actually a method that I invented by accident, which is a long process and I don’t have room to type, but in the end I ended up with over 9.2 trillion units in under a day
Did it involve trading Bitcoin?
Stumbled upon this video. I love the way you do comedy. Earned it 👌🏻 subscribed
Thank you, you’ve earned… this turtle 🐢
bro droppin jokes harder then America does bombs
Didn’t beg for subscribers. Finally someone I can respect, so here’s a sub. (:
Thanks! Next time I'll go even further and do reverse psychology... "You better not send me a box of cinnamon rolls!" Hope it works.
I can't stand that voice.
